Since the last update it constantly says data could not sync. App allows carers to sign in to multiple visits at a time instead of sign in and out as they start and finish a visit.

Without my fabulous Cera sitters who look after my husband for 4 hours 3x a week, I don’t know how I would cope. He has dementia and cannot be left alone. Cera matched him perfectly with three girls who chat and watch TV with him. He is relaxed and comfortable with each of them and I can go out and do “normal” things and be myself again, meeting friends etc safe in the knowledge that he’s well looked after in my absence and happy. The company is always prepared to be flexible and I can change my hours simply by giving prior notice. I cannot rate their service highly enough.

Cera care have been part of a care package for my wife for about 7 years now. I have had no problems with the care that they provide for my wife. The carers are friendly and very profeshional, they come in to our house with respect and are very good at their job. They make my wifes life a lot comfier and livable.

I was a service user with mediline for a number of years and was happy with the service, but Cera took over and the service is terrible! They send carers who are not trained to carry out the care plan. Seems to me they want to get things done as quick as possible so they can get on to the next call thus cutting corners and not providing the correct care. Quite often they send carers from other areas who haven't got a clue what to do. I've been left sitting in excrement all because nobody can be bothered to check. I have all my food, meds and water administered through my peg as I am unable to eat normally. They send carers here who are not trained to do peg feed, all they say is we have no one who can do it. So I have to ensure family members or other people who are able to feed me are to hand as much as possible. Care companies are supposed to have a duty of care and Cera definitely are lacking in that.. I would advise anyone thinking of needed care to look elsewhere.

I would not recommend, the qualification interview was the worst I have ever had, (via instant messenger there was a problem with connection) with Dianne from London. I felt very uncomfortable and treated like a trash. I regret calling them. BE CAREFUL WITH THEM

My advice to anyone who enjoys working in care is do not work for this company because you will hate being a carer. I used to work for a company called Allied Healthcare for 2 years and 7 months, but unfortunately the company was sold and transferred to Cera care. Things changed drastically, the support and respect that we used to have with Allied was gone. I had shifts removed and added to me without any notice and when I called the branch question why, was badly treated and the phone down on me. was forced to leave service users that I love like family all because couldn't handle the way branch management treated carers and found a new job. I thought this is was just a bad branch management so I decided to send an email to the regional manager to make her aware of what was going on For my surprise the regional manager didn't seemed interested she was more interested in reminding me that I needed to return my uniform and mobile phone after my last day, something I already knew that had to do. Anyway after finding my new job I needed references, the branch manager was contacted 3 times but just ignore the requests. I had to chase Allied Healthcare HR and was lucky they sent my reference same day proving again an amazing company that enjoyed to work for before transferring to cera care. Some care companies need to understand that carers are humans not just a number to make profits. Now I'm trying to contact payroll for my p45 and last payment package and been completely ignored. So my final thoughts about my Cera care experience as an employee is not just about bad branch management the company definitely don't care about their staff.

** UPDATE** Further to the reply from Cera Care. I will not be contacting as requested as the person concerned is their media consultant which tells you all you need to know about the NON Care from this abysmal excuse for a company. If you genuinely care for a loved one and are considering using a care company I would AVOID Cera Care and look for an independent company who is local to you. After having received care from various companies over the past few years, cera care is by far the worst. The individual carers are generally very good but my god, if only cera care cared as much about care as they do about their image they may be acceptable. No continuity or communication. Cera Care quite clearly do not care about anything other than the mighty £ and their bottom line. Cera seem to delight in the misguided idea that AI can improve care. Cera needs to be reminded that decent communication and care can improve care not a new digital care plan. Cera Care also needs to be reminded to care for their staff who will then find it so much easier to care for their clients. Cera Care do not have one redeeming feature and are quite clearly only interested in expanding their reach across the globe.
