I wouldn't recommend this company full off lies the stuff they say likes good on paper 6 Sundays they didn't turned up to do there job one carer turned up with no uniform and no ID they don't respct people's wishes they was supposed to spend 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening with a elderly gentleman he was lucky to get 10 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening worse company by far all they have done is change the name off the company from cpg stay well clear if your thinking about getting help do some background checks before getting this company in I wish I did

pervious employee here- for anyone thinking of going to cera to work, I'd recommend you don't! I was put in hospital a week because of this company and in the process of seeing If I can sue them. maybe it just because I was in a bad branch which a horrendous manager- tamworth This isn't just me being bitter, I have actually been a victim of extreme stress and mental health distress because of this comapny! I asked for adjustment to work because they were trying to pressure me into working from 6am - 11pm, it was affecting my mental health. they kept cutting my hours from 6 to 6 to 6 - 4 but not give me a day off for 7 days when we agreed 6 to 6, they thought by doing that I'd cover 7 whole days, just so the manager and senior Care didn't have to go out to do care work. I had to email to ask for days off, I had to email constantly to fight for my right to have adjustments to work! I eventually was left to my 6 to 6 when I was hospitalised in May due to the stress the office caused. before cera even think about suing for slander I have all the emails leading up to the day I was put in hospital. most recently we had pay issues which I said I was being affected by mentally, I explained this was affecting mental health, not one person offered to support me, until I ended up in hospital on an IV drips in a mental health ward, I was then put in psychiatric ward. when they found out they then sent all staff and email saying "mental health first aid" never bothered giving me any of that when I gave clear waring my mental health is going down hill! they have no staff again now, I wonder why? wanting to join to receive care- the carers are tamworth branch are amazing! I'd say by the look on these reviews they seem the be the best in the the area! If you can put up with incompetent manage, who dosnet care about he clientns then I'd recommend going to here, just because the carers are so good.

Cera Care since my previous review asked me via trust pilot to send them and email, which is a poor user experience as it's me doing more. However, on twitter they sent me a message asking for my number to call me - which is much better. They acknowledged receipt of this message and confirmed I would get a call on 13th October. You guessed it - no call !! This morning, 14th October my carer turns up after I start work, 90 minutes late End result - no care Left without any care AGAIN This is causing me undue stress which I do not need and would recommend for your own mental health to choose another care provider

Absolute shambles of a company. I dont think they understand the meaning of the word 'care'. No baths for months, financial abuse, physical abuse covered up,. The manager prefers to row over the phone, rather than visit and rectify problems. Carers do nothing but lie and cover up on their app. Would not recommend this company to anyone

Applied for a role then spent an hour on phone with recruitment manager. Thought it went really well and was advised I would receive feedback tomorrow (Friday) or Monday at latest. Completely ghosted after that. Only thing I got was a generic email stating they had tried to contact several times and was closing file down. Complete waste of time.

Absolutely appalling care company, can't do simple tasks required, dishonest timekeeping and no care or compassion for clients. Out of all carers only one was any good and she was run ragged. Please do not trust this company with your loved ones.

Generally just about does the job. However when requesting a contact, no one ever replies. Also, cisits 'drop' off the app leaving no idea what is happening. I have asked for someone to talk to me. They don't respond. Really poor

I cannot access the app at all. You have sent me numerous password reset emails and they will not work. I need you to send me the original link to set up an account. I have no way of getting information about my parents care without this.

Though the care this company provide is really good and they have some fantastic carers I am really frustrated with this app. I was sent a link which I followed to set up an account to view my mum’s care. It worked fine and I could see all the information I needed. Then it stopped working. I have called the office numerous times and staff have tried to assist but when I attempt to reset the password it tells me my account has been disabled or is not recognised. I’ve cleared my phone cache and deleted and reinstalled the app but nothing works. No one seems to know how I can go about fixing this and I can’t even set up an account for viewing my dad’s care despite trying a different email address. There seems to be no protocol for people who have more than one person receiving care and I’m told that if I do manage to set this up I will have to log in and log out each time I want to view either my mum or dad. Meanwhile I am unable to view any information about my mum or dad’s daily care. I understand that there can be teething problems with new systems such as this but I feel a dedicated, trained team is needed to help people as I’m not sure staff know how to solve these issues as it’s new to them too. Update: after a lot of trial and error and many phone calls I am now on the app and able to view both my mum and my dad’s profiles. Huge thank you to Giselle at Premier Care for taking the time and effort to get this sorted. Gone from a 1 star review to a 4 (only reason it’s not a 5 is because the app itself could be better.) However, in terms of customer service a big thumbs up! 👍

Cera care gave me a contract to work with them. I completed their online training as well as their two day training for 12 hrs at their office in Stockport, Manchester. Later, even after writing them several emails to initiate with the further process, no one from their team contacted me. I was not even paid for the 12 hrs training that I attended. I thought that if this this the way the organisation is responding to its team members, even after contacting them several times , no response at all. I really cannot wonder how they treat their employees . This is really disappointing and left a negative impact on me about the organisation.

Since Cera started looking after my mom they have been amazing. All carers are kind, considerate and hard working. Obviously we like certain carers and love it when they attend. I have also found the office staff very helpful and caring.

Staff friendly, most of them go above and beyond their duties Managers friendly and approachable and deal with any problems swiftly Most of the time I usually have the same "circle" of carers which is nice especially for personal care

I have the service to be good. The girls are very kind to my mother and fulfil their duties. I do communicate with the girls by leaving an A4 notepad in the kitchen. Leaving details of what I have done plus anything I would like the girls to do. There has been a couple of mishaps but always rectified. It’s a difficult job and I am appreciative what is done for my mother. Communication is key.

I have known and used most staff sent by Cera for over 4 years. they are always happy, helpful to me and the person they care for. He is treated with dignity and respect even in difficult times of his dementia. He and his home are always clean and tidy. As he spends many hours daily alone, the hours of care are very important. Thank you to all the team. Well done. Barbara B

I was a little put out at first that the app was launched and then you needed my consent for it but all in all it’s seems to be working. The messaging is very good if you need to get in touch with a carer at short notice to give information about my mum.

Matthew Hunt 27 July 2022, 02:15

Hi.... So Cera is brilliant for me so I can make sure my mum's needs are taken care of. I noticed you've updated the App recently with in and out times, if I could make a suggestion it would be that family members can add requests/concerns or reply to messages left by the carers. Many thanks in advance Matt.

Wonderful staff, very caring and show a great deal of patience towards my mum . Not only do they care for my mum but spent time talking to my Dad which makes his day.
