I am on my 8 of 11 aligners and do like the progress my teeth have made so far. However, the material they are made of does burn my gums and tongue so I haven't been able to wear them as often as prescribed. I emailed the company twice but never got a response. The price is reasonable and they are easy to use! I would recommend them just with caution.

From start to finish this is the worst experience I have ever had. I told the rep I wanted to use my FSA funds and they told me in order to do that I needed a CARE credit, I told them I didn't need any credit they essentially forced me to open an account. Come time to pay CARE will not use my FSA card!!! A manager called me and I ended up paying with my FSA card and my own CC, they closed the CARE credit. As if that wasn't bad enough, I sent them numerous emails about my shipping address when I was communicating with them about my impressions and getting my dental records for them. please tell me why they shipped the product to the wrong address?! Listen, if this is type of poor service you are going to get for $2K please go ahead and use the $600 competitor because this truly isn't worth it. At this time I have sent numerous emails to byte customer service asking for a refund as this is not what I expected and I am still waiting to hear from someone. I say skip byte !

I initially purchased the Byte® Aligner Treatment + Byte® Protection Plan back on 8/3/2023. My treatment did not progress as expected and I started having to wear my aligners longer before switching. It started progressing some but I had to reach out to Byte numerous times for support. They have the worst access to Customer Service I have ever experienced in my life and I work in Customer Service. There is no ability to reach anyone via phone and they drag out any support requests for weeks by asking for meaningless photos of your teeth that DO NOT help resolve issues with the aligners. After wearing one set for almost a month they finally felt like they were close to where they needed to be but still not aligned or matching my treatment plan. I asked for new impressions many, many times and was completely disregarded and ignored. They ask for more photos and do absolutely nothing to help. They finally agreed to send additional aligners for my top teeth which never fit. At the same time, I had a molar crack that required a crown. I notified them of the issue with the continuation aligners and my crown. They told me to contact them after I had the new crown installed with a clearance from my dentist. They THREATENED that I would lose my aligner guarantee if I had done this work while in treatment. I had never reviewed this guarantee but noticed it cover new impressions if my initial treatment did not work. My initial treatment did not work on my uppers and I want new impressions done to get my treatment back on track. I told them I wanted this and would report them if they did not remedy this. They asked for more photos. I want to scream. The most frustrating experience of my life. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone and wish I would have paid more for Invisalign with my dentist.

One thing that annoyed me was that I have a bottom permanent retainer so when I got my payment for how much everything would cost it included upper and lower retainers with the full cost. My original checkout plan was with two retainers and the consultant added a free byte starter kit. When asking the consultant about not including the bottom retainer because I don’t need it she resent me a link with just the single retainer (500$ off) and took away the byte starter kit and said she can’t stack promos because she is giving me a “percent off” / promo code of $500 for not having the bottom retainer but that shouldn’t be a discount - I don’t even need the lower retainer. It shouldn’t even Be included in the cost. It seems like there is not official cost for just one retainer - how is only having one retainer only $500 off? Also it felt like she was rushing me to checkout so I originally was going to do split payment but she had to resend the link and I didn’t check split payment because we had to re do everything so everything got charged on my card all at once and now I have a very high credit card bill. When asked about refunding and redoing payment she said she can’t per policy.

I need you to send me the light colored putty. I received 4 dark putty. Also, I do have a question. I had a root canal, but over time, it abscessed because they couldn’t get all of the root. So they pulled the tooth. I have had the stem put in, but have to wait for the implant. Do I need to wait to do my impressions? I’d really like to move forward now, and then pay for a second impression/tray later.
