I was shopping for a round brilliant lab diamond between 1.8 and 2.2ct with ideal cut proportions. I spoke with Emily via the online chat tool when I was interested in comparing two stones. I had a good idea of which stone I thought had a better cut, though it was less expensive than the other similar stone with slightly less ideal proportions. Emily told me to go with the less expensive of the two stones with the better proportions, suggesting that the advice they give is genuine. I ended up buying the loose stone and having it set by a local jeweler. The stone is beautiful! Their online inventory from the "select" line is definitely smaller than other online retailers, but their prices are significantly more competitive than James Allen or Blue Nile. If I had a larger budget, I would have opted for one of the Premium lab stones which are hand selected by Brian and guaranteed to have ideal cuts and hearts and arrows. Also a huge fan of the shipping options -- I was able to ship to my local Fedex insured for free, so I didn't have to wait at home for an insured package, which is a huge pain. VERY happy with my purchase and would shop here again.

The package arrived and I am stunned at the quality of the 7 carat tennis bracelet. My other diamonds pale in comparison to the sparkle and beautiful color. The difference is shocking. I’ve purchased diamonds several times from local jewelers or online (Blue Nile and Friendly Diamonds) but decided to research more to find the best quality diamonds. I read a lot of reviews on Reddit, WSJ, NYT, and other sites, as well as Better Business rankings, and they all pointed to Brian Gavin’s site. I am done researching, from now on I feel safe and confident shopping with Brian Gavin.
