I had just the best experience at BoConcept when I had recently split up with my partner and needed to choose my own furniture for my life going forward. Marc Spowart in the Edinburgh shop looked after me and was such a joy to work with. I had worried a bit about wandering off the street into an expensive shop with no plan to buy anything that day but it was all so easy and a fun experience. Marc was great at helping with colour and textures and how the chair and sofa might work in the room together. He was really helpful and totally un-pushy and looked after the whole process getting in touch even after delivery. The cost was probably similar to some of the major outlets but the quality and service were incompatible. I'd definitely go back.

From the moment we first visited the Edinburgh shop, we received attentive, professional and caring service. The interior design service helped us decide on size, shape and type of sofa. We had a whole house to furnish, three very different sofas and we had fantastic help and attention from Laura Speirs in Edinburgh

We have bought several items from Bo Concept in the recent past, all of which have been of exceptional standard. On every level, we found the service first class - from concept through to delivery. Our sales rep, Katherine, was very personable, knowledgeable and understanding of our requirements. Her after-sales service has also been very impressive. I should also compliment the professionalism of the delivery team who were punctual, courteous and sensitive to our circumstances. The ethos and post-sales guarantees put Bo Concept way ahead of its competitors in terms of customer care.

I moved home back late November and was looking to get myself a new dinning table and chairs but was putting it off due to retail stores being closed for I wanted to see the furniture before purchasing. Having visited Bo Concepts website (easy to navigate and great images of the products with many room set ideas) I decided to give my local Glasgow store a call, not only was the assistant Georgie super helpful but asked that I send her some images of my room and with her interior design experience called me to discuss all options, we choose the perfect dinning set for my room and also recommended a rug that will help pull the whole room together. I'd also like to add a special thank you to the delivery team, the two gentlemen did a perfect job and kept within the covid guidelines. All in all a great experience and I couldn't recommend Bo Concept enough. Thank you, GR

ORDER NUMBER osf-023181-Indivi According to the BoConcept official website, quality by tradition is “Our quality is more than aesthetics. We stand for craftsmanship, uncompromising attention to detail and exceptional materials…” We bought an INDIVI sofa at Finchley road store. There was an INDIVI sofa on display and were greatly helped by the BoConcept team. The sofa on display was very well made, had a solid look with perfectly straight stitching, and all components were neatly aligned together. We placed an order expecting the same high quality of the product. Unfortunately, the sofa we got delivered didn’t live up to the expectations. Attached pictures highlight some of the issues, in particular: - Uneven stitching (the stitch goes straight and then disappears inside ) - One of the legs isn’t vertical and has a noticeable incline - The attachment of the armrest to the back panel isn’t at the same level. The back of the sofa is facing the guest room, so this flaw is very visible - One of the pillows looks more stuffed with filling than the others - Seat cushion develops a dip after 2-3 days of sitting on it for 2 hours for a person of about 70 kg. So we’re required to turn the cushion around every several days to keep it comfortable. The flaws of the delivered sofa has put it in the much lower league on par with significantly cheaper products we abandoned when we were choosing the sofa for our home. We sent our comments to BoConcept team. They organized an upholsterer visit to check the sofa. He confirmed the sofa was assembled up to the BoConcept standards and didn’t require any correction. Initially, we were considering getting more BoConcept furniture for our new home. We’re now happy we decided to wait to get the sofa delivered before making any further orders. In our case, the statement about the craftsmanship and attention to details has nothing to do with reality. The attached pictures are to give an idea about the real BoConcept quality standards. Our experience with BoConcept (Edinburgh) has been simply first class from start to finish. We fell in love with a sofa online and decided to request some fabric samples. We very quickly were contacted by Brie who offered to send some other extras and confirm our address etc. Already we were impressed by BoConcept's care and attention to detail. We would later go into the store to see the style of sofa in person. Rebecca the store manager looked after us. We were admittedly nervous and a little intimidated by price of the items we were looking at. Rebecca would go on to spend almost an hour with us discussing fabric options and helping us break down any points of deliberation between options. At no point did we feel any pressure whatsoever. No upselling. No sales pitch. The products speak for themselves and staff know this as qualified designers. We were so impressed by the service in store that we made the order. We paid a deposit which Rebecca offered because she didnt want us to feel like we had to pay £3300 upfront in the midst of finalising our house purchase. The lead time was as expected a few months which in a COVID world is completely expected. We paid the rest of our balance about 2 weeks before our delivery date with zero chasing from the team in Edinburgh to make payment. During the time between ordering and delivery Brie would check in on us and see if we wanted anything else during their 15% sale. We chatted at length about an armchair and Brie even went to the effort of making a 3D model of it with different images of fabric options. This was all FREE. We ultimately decided that we didnt have space but Bries efforts here to help us visualise the chair were highly professional. The sofa came on the day that was identified at the sale and was built within 15 minutes. All COVID measures followed by the delivery team. Unfortunately, through our own fault, we decided we may have made a mistake with the colour choice. This is our mistake and our preference. Normally this is when you would panic, however BoConcept offer a 5-part guarantee that allows you to order a brand new sofa in a different colour if you are unhappy with the original. The only thing you have to do is let them know within a week of delivery - more than enough time in my opinion. Unbelievably they even let you keep the original until the new one comes. Brie again was critical in guiding us in terms of what other options would work. We haven't made a decision yet but I am 100% sure BoConcept will make it as easy as possible. I wish I could give 50 stars instead of 5. I cant speak for all stores but if they are as good as Edinburgh your money is well spent here. The furniture is stunning and customer care/design advice is worth hundreds in itself. The only negative thing is that we wish we could afford to furnish our entire house!!

Got a great service from Agata at the Finchley Road branch. She helped me pick out the right model, colour and fabric and showed me how it would look in my flat. I bought it in store and couldn’t be happier that I went for it. The Carlton sofa is a thing of beauty, perfectly made, amazing quality and so comfortable to lie on. It is the centre piece of my flat and definitely a forever sofa. Thanks Agata !

Outstanding throughout the whole process. Sales to installation. Angela at the Canterbury store has dealt with the order brilliantly throughout, she has been friendly and has done everything she said she would. The installation team arrived when they said they would, installed the furniture, demonstrated it and left the room clean and tidy. Very friendly team all together. Thank you BoConcept team. Very happy.

Katherine in the Edinburgh store was very professional, supportive and even went the extra mile to deliver some fabric swatches to my door in person one day. The service is very good and personal and i would recommend the company to anyone who appreciates a good service as well as quality products. Especially during lockdown when it can be a little more complicated to buy on line a piece of furniture. Thanks again.

Laura was a huge help in designing a wall system for my lounge when I moved house. I have a whole wall unit that stores my books, my drinks cabinet and my TV, as well as lots of other things in the plethora of shelves. It has been carefully positioned and designed to give me access to the power units behind. The wall behind has been painted bright yellow so you get little glimpses of colour through the open parts of the unit. The design process was straight forward - and fun! Installation day was exciting and the team were efficient and considerate. The whole unit looks absolutely stunning and I was so pleased with it I went on and ordered another, smaller unit, with a built in desk. Thanks to Katherine for that one! I would totally recommend the BoConcept team and the Copenhagen system - I am really pleased with it!

We bought a sofa with BoConcept that costed a fortune and the fabric was defective giving light and dark shades from the first day that we seated on it. The company offered to exchange it for one with a fabric on the same price band or one band higher but we decided to buy get one with a fabric £200 cheaper. Now BoConcept is saying that they will not give us the cost difference back and they remain quiet for weeks not replying to our email. Do not buy their furniture, otherwise you are at risk of losing your money.

Tried Charlotte chairs at a London BoConcept store and were comfortable and nicely made so ordered from Bristol store.After 8 or 10 weeks waiting they were delivered and oh what a disappointment.Chairs were very hard to sit on and not comfortable as described on their website.As for the quality, it was really bad and again not like the one we saw even though they tell you that they are checked over when in uk.My attempts at returning were rejected as we chose colour of legs and material from their collection but they call that bespoke so refused to accept back.I took photos and sent numerous emails to get them to finally accept that they were not good enough and they replied that they could replace but we have no trust in the company so insisted that they refund which they did after numerous calls and emails.For some reason the Bristol store kept saying that the manufacturer were responsible but in fact its the retailer.Store was always polite and helpful but in our opinion and friends these chairs are grossly overpriced and not worth half the asking price HAVING RECEIVED A REPLY I DO NOT ACCEPT THAT A FABRIC CAN CAUSE A CHAIR TO BE HARDER, IT IS THE PADDING THAT DOES THIS AND THOSE DELIVERED WERE DEFINITELY HARDER AS WE DROVE TO A LONDON STORE TO DOUBLE CHECK. MATERIAL ALSO DOES NOT CAUSE THE CHAIR TO HAVE HARD AREAS ON ARMS THAT WOULD WEAR RAPIDLY OR TO HAVE BADLY FORMED BASED CUSHION AND MATERIAL BADLY FITTED,IN OTHER WORDS TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO PICTURE ON WEBSITE AND TO ONES SEEN IN STORE.ALTHOUGH MISINFORMED RE.LEGAL OBLIGATION THE BRISTOL STORE WERE ALWAYS BUSINESS LIKE HELPFUL AND QUICK TO RESPOND SO NOT THE STORE AT FAULT BUT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT I WOULD ALSO ADD THAT THE REFUND POLICY IS UNACCEPTABLE HENCE DECIDING TO TAKE DELIVERY

Cristina Howarth at Redbrick in Batley handled our problem with our table very promptly during this COVID 19 and it was fixed in time for Christmas Thanks very much Bo Concept for sorting this out so quickly I would have no problem in recommending your company to anyone. We live in Oxford and the distance didn’t make any difference

We are new to BoConcept, but are happy with the overall experience we had at BoConcept Edinburgh. Our designer - Lucy - was extremely helpful, she was thoughtful when designing the use of space of our flat; patience as we've been discussing and changing how we like the place to look like; caring, helping us to find solutions when we face other issues. We are grateful to have Lucy to help us, and cannot wait for our furniture to arrive!

5 star service and amazing product. We were assisted by James who was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the product. There was no pushy sales approach and the whole experience was very relaxed and enjoyable. We are very excited to receive ours sofas. Thank you James and the team at Bo Concept Newcastle. I bought a Osaka couch from them last year and a Fermo TV unit in charcoal a few months after that, the head manager at the White City branch was very helpful and polite I must say. While it is too soon to comment about the couch, I can leave my review of the Fermo unit. Quite simply the worse quality I have seen in furniture. Bare in mind that this unit cost me over £1100 or £1200, I forgot. What do you get for this price? A glorified Ikea flat packed piece of furniture (with EXTREMELY long delivery time), I find myself every other week discovering new chips on the finish (a very thin UV coated finish that is very very easily damaged). The TV unit is under a TV and rarely accessed, I am the sole occupier of the premises, am borderline OCD with high attention to details and take great care with everything that I own, which I why I have no idea how these chips keep appearing, if putting your keys down on a £1200 pound furniture damages the finish, then I think it is safe to say that I cannot recommend to buy it, rather the opposite. VERY disappointed. I now find myself retouching these micro chips with a Dulux color matched sample pot every month 😢 Looking at the reviews of the global BoConcept on trustpilot rather than the curated UK one seems to corroborate my experience. Stay away.
