The report is useful. However, if you don't look carefully about the $1 trial offer, you will be charged $30+ right after the trial. It was a surprise to me. I disputed this charge through my credit card company. They were able to reverse the charge for me.

I tried to get a Carfax report and Been Verified somehow inserted themselves and started making automatic charges to my PayPal account. A very sneaky fraud. They didn't even provide the entire Carfax report.

They pretty much guarantee it will be a free car history report until the very end where they force you to pay up front

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. SCAM. CRIMINALS. you cannot buy a one time report. i'd be glad to buy a one time report. their information is often old and incomplete or incorrect (the man we searched for has been dead for two years now, but they said he was still alive). THEY DEMAND YOUR CREDIT CARD. this is how they scam you. good luck canceling the "trial".

Scam. Read fine print. Cancel. They will say they have found information on your search but do not trust that. Information is blocked or not current. But they will take your money.

I signed up for the "7 day free trial". Of course you had to give credit card number to cover the "free" part. I had one number to verify and they couldn't do it, perhaps a burner. Ok, I understand. But when they didn't cancel me and then charged an additional month....... now I'm upset. Just remember "NOTHING is FREE!!!"

ran one background check, which ultimately was worthless for $1. I was then automatically enrolled in a monthly subscription. No email alerting me, nothing. I ended up with $140 worth of charges for one worthless report when I finally discovered it in a bank statement and had to look up what Beenverified even was. I spoke with support and they were able to offer a partial refund which was nice, but ultimately I think Beenverified has designed their business in a way to intentionally deceive and steal money from people. If you look up Dark Patterns in UX designs, you will see companies like Beenverified do this on purpose. I would strongly recommend you do not use this software, especially if you only need to run one background check.

They have old information and then scam you by sending you an alert that supposedly contains updated information but turns out to be old information. I will never subscribe again. Tried to find my missing son but sadly this site was useless.

I was charged $26.89 that I did not authorize. I paid the dollar to find out information about a phone number that I did not recognize but BeenVerified could not help me so I thought that was the end of that then I realized they charge me $26.89.I did not sign up for a monthly subscription. I was refunded the money so that was good, but my problem was I should’ve never been charged that amount when I did not authorize it.

Terrible , you are a thief's. You continue to take people money .Most of the time people can find what they are looking for within the day or two .So a month of service should be right.But instead you keep billing it's that a thief.

I only agreed to $1.00 7-day access, today they automatically charged $28.78 for the service i dont want.

Not only was I charged for a one time use but, I was also charged for a monthly reoccurring charge!! In my opinion this is beyond deception it’s FRAUD!! I find it interesting that the first option to press is “if you want to cancel your membership press 1. They must do this to everyone. I wanted to verify one old friend. That’s all. FRAUD

This app is trash I paid just to get nothing please don't waste your time...

Still cannot access my account for what is now over 60+ days. No more attempts to speak with someone directly , have been fruitless.
