Made me wait literally 10 minutes just to tell me I needed to pay to see the tiny bit of information they had on my deceased grandmother. Garbage.

I’m honestly baffled at how boldly y’all are about this “scam” for lack of a better term y’all are running! Y’all know exactly what experience people have using your site but you still ask for reviews in the name of “bettering the service” when all you are really doing is selling the people hope that the next experience will be much better…. But it won’t… but I will share a couple of the many many many things that make beenverified an absolute joke but not the kind anyone laughs at! Y’all are charging $26.89 a months for information that is mostly either useless information, incorrect/inaccurate information. And what very little correct information you do have could have been found on social media for FREE!!

This company participates in Identity theft by using and posting false information - case in point. I am receiving USPS mail with a notice of "welcome to the neighborhood" to a person shown on Been Verified as residing at my home address- a Google search reveals this person has passed away, expired, is DEAD! Response 6/20/2024: sure it just can't be the fault your company....blame someone else! REALLY?? Deny and deflect! Been Verified dot com JUST ANOTHER FAKE WEBSITE spread false information!!

This is the typical fraudulent company that charges $1 for one document but then starts charging almost $30 memberships hidden in small letter. It is so bad, that the very first option that it offers when calling "customer center" is to cancel the account.

I have been trying to cancel this account and it hasnt it is now 5/2024! That is a lot of money.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carolina L. in Miami, FL for helping me with my BeenVerified account. Carolina is very patient, kind and professional. It has been a tough road for me to delete inaccurate results because so many people are listed with a variation of my name. BeenVerified is a good company to check on your own record and others. I really do not like to look up acquaintances so for me their service is satisfactory. I feel it is important to stay on top of certain individuals that attempt to use your email or other essential sensitive personal data on the web. Thanks again to BeenVerified for all that they have done!

Another company that lets users fill out the information on what they are searching for, then sit and watch while the "search" is apparently being done, then on two consecutive pages announces "We've Got Your Results!!", before slipping in the next page which is "How do you wish to pay?". I'm so tired of these companies that don't announce UP FRONT, right away on Page 1, that there is a charge for their services. It wasn't a significant amount, but the irritation is that there is no forewarning that the service is not free. And NOBODY in their right mind these days is going to send their credit card number off into the ether. Find a better way of being honest with your customers, BeenVerified.

Used for a couple of weeks, had difficulty with dashboard because of previous account and difficulty cancelling the repeating PayPal charge - must monitor payments. Customer service answered quickly and found error, closed account and cancelled payment.
