Anytime a service CAPTURES personal data before slamming you with the "GOTCHA" service charge, they're as bad as a used car salesmen. I should know, I was one, and now a business owner, business coach. These types of practices are considered "fair play" and "legal", but that's not what's at question here. PROFESSIONAL ETHICS are.... You want to charge for a one time pull? Fine, include that in your initial offering and let it stand! When you have to CAPTURE someone information and then tell them, it means you intend to harass the living hell out of them from that moment forward... BAD PRACTICE!

Misleading. Don't waste your time nor money on records that can be legally obtained from your state. Been verified and many other companies like this one place misleading ads to entice one to believe they will be able to obtain personal identifiers. Welp, once you put your debit/credit card into their database they'll issue you a disclaimer that says they do not post any names or any personally identifiable information on their website. In this disclaimer, they will provide instructions as to how you can write in to your state or visit a local office for records that you're paying them to provide. For example...you want to check a VIN or License Plate for prior ownership...Been Verified advertises this is possible. You pull out your card and pay for their service. Been Verified is going to list dates with no names of previous seller nor previous or current owner. It's a crock. Don't waste your time. Cut out the middle man contact your local government offices for public information.

Beenverified doesnt give you anymore info than gabasearch or truepeoplesearch which are free. I paid for a 7 day trial subscription and I THOUGHT I cancelled after 3 days. Well I got hit with a $40 charge 2 days after that. 100% SCAM! And they are thieves. I would give them zero stars if i could.

All of your popups indicated you had specific information regarding the person that owned the phone number I submitted. There were 3 or 4 different screens encouraging me to submit more of my personal information in exchange for information regarding the person who owned this number. After submitting EVERYTHING your site required, INCLUDING PAYMENT, the final results indicated that you had ZERO INFORMATION and you suspected the number was SPAM.

Several years ago I had signed on to Been Verified and I think the information at that time was more complete. Now it's like you have so much information pulled into the system that some of it I doubt is complete and confusing when you are trying to go through it.

I Got charged 30 dlls for nothing

I was preparing to change my password. I already submitted my credit card info. How can I get access to pull a been verified report?

I have been paying for a subscription for the last 3 months. I called customer service to get help because I couldn't get on, didn't know my password and when I tried to change it, it said not valid. I was talking with an agent who tried to help and gave me a temporary password after I tried and failed to create one, but the same thing happened to me and to her. She kept changing the #on the password same thing. After 45 minutes, she did it at her end but never got it so I could do it. I don't have time for this. I got on yesterday and got several #s all discontinued though it said hi validity. Please fix this my subscription ends Sept 1st and I need phone #'s for a very important project which is dependent on a short window of time. I also tried it out for someone whose # I lost and it was equally Un useful. They gave me several wrong #s when I emailed her and she gave me the right one. I'm spending money to waste my time and getting supposedly highly reliable #s and they are all no longer valid.
