Please note: I have already contacted Been Verified's Customer Service Department with my concerns. I got a "form letter back" requesting more information. It was obvious tnat they had not even bothered to READ my highly detailed four page letter in which I carefully outlined my concerns. Does Been Verified HAVE a Customer Service Department? I am a 71 year old man of above average intelligence As with many of my generation, I am "old school". I choose not to live my life on line. I have very limited to no understanding of "nerd jargon". I called in with a relatively simple request to fix a problem I was encountering with their system. I spent 45 minutes and talked to six or so employees. There was no doubt in my mind that ALL of these folks knew how to fix my problem. The issue is that NONE of these folks knew how to reduce "nerd jargon" into simple common terms a layman could understand. I felt "not heard", patronized, dismissed as stupid and a LOT of other things. I did NOT feel helped. If you are over 40 or so, or if you are lacking in computer skills, be aware that you will be treated in the same HORRIFIC way I was treated. There are substantial problems with this company's Customer Service Department. Until these are dealt with and actually RESOLVED, I cannot recomment doing business with this company.

I was charged $1 to pull a vehicle review and I never received the report. Then, all of the sudden the charge me another $33 dollar without me authorizing the charge without any explanation or services provided. Customer service is poor, the call center does not get you anywhere with the automated system, there is not even a direct line to contact someone in the US. (you need to press 1 for US and the choose your easter or western time!!) It is a scam. Do not give your personal information. Do not waste your time. Buyer be aware

on 1/31/2025 i cancelled my subscription to this service as i found it of no use when i searched for info on relatives. it is truly not work the money and demand my account be cancelled.

Great after figuring out how to go thru the information

They do not offer updated information. They may offer data on individuals but it's old data. This makes it pointless if you're trying to find legit contractors or people with records you don't want near your family. I used a reference for an example explaining this to them and they cancelled my subscription claiming I was in violation of terms. This was not true.

My report was created fast, no problem

Sometimes gives wrong information similar to other sites that can give you someones information at a price.

My friend died in mid-October. In late Jan 2025, BV did not have such information. Late December 2024 her death notice was in the S.F. Chronicle. Also, searching for old friends brought nothing. I essentially got no benefit from BV.

You have to fight with them to cancel the service while they keep charging you that outrageous price for crap service.

Nothing was up-to-date all old

They only access digital records. I searched for people I know have records and got the same response..No digital information found. Waste of money.

This company STOLE my banking information and charged my account $33! I never signed up for their service, I don’t even recall going to their website for that matter yet they charged my checking account!

Your company is the SCAMMER. Beenverified gave me only 2 profiles out of 100? Picking pockets 1 to 5 dollars at a 7 day trial TIME! Thanks for nothing!

Scam. They take your money and then block your IP address. They didn't end my account; they blocked my access to the website all together. I mean, who does that? When I asked what was it about they gave me a lame and vague reply: "Kindly note, as per our Terms of Service, we do retain the right to terminate accounts at our discretion." Though it was about two years ago when I last used their service, I have not done a thing that should prompt someone to block my IP address. I mean seriously, what kind of treatment is that? Do not trust this service. Don't sign up and definitely don't give them your money.
