We LOVE our Urban Mattress! We had ordered one online that was very highly rated (with a 365 day return policy, thank goodness), and it was bad. So bad. We happened into the Urban Mattress on Brodie Lane, and Erica was super friendly and helpful. Getting rid of the nightmare online mattress was the best thing ever because we ended up with the MOST COMFORTABLE mattress I have ever slept on. So comfortable- great sleep at night. I am not waking several times per hour now- sleeping solid. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
I love my bed, love the non-pressure like service, and it was a fairly simple transaction. They worked with me to get the best price that they could and I felt like they were ethical.

I have never been more happy with a mattress shopping experience. It was very low pressure. There was a work emergency and I ended up working from the bed I ended up purchasing while my husband took a nap. Real world test drive if I ever had one! The mattress is best purchase I have made and the best night's sleep since I was a kid.
The owner of Urban Mattress went above and beyond the call of duty to get my wife and I the best bed possible within our budget. He worked with us during the chaos of our move, as we wanted the new bed for the new house. I can't say enough good things about Urban Mattress. I recommend anyone bring their mattress needs to the store and watch the solution surpass your expectations.
They sold me a garbage mattress that fell apart within months of purchasing it. It was sagging 4+ inches in the middle with a bunch of areas that had popped up. The sides had basically collapsed as well. I put up with it for a while and then was approved for a warranty replacement. When I went back to the store, Isaac was clearly distracted and having a bad day. We had a bit of a miscommunication that resulted in me understanding that they didn't make that model anymore and that every reasonable replacement would cost me $500+ extra. I was not pleased. After some tense conversations he recommended that I come back another day. On the next visit, we worked out our differences and realized the miscommunication. I could replace my mattress straight up with a certain one which was off to the side and not just the extra firm one he had originally indicated. That worked for me. The replacement came relatively quickly and the delivery guys were awesome. About a year later I am satisfied with the replacement. I am not satisfied that I had to replace it in the first place. The quality of the original mattress was complete trash. Considering how short of a time they sold that model and how many returns they got on it (from what I heard from the salesperson and delivery guys) it should have never been on the floor. The replacement process was not great but I am satisfied with what I ended up with.
Our experience at Urban Mattress, from perusal to purchase was a positive one, and believe me, we are quite discriminating when it comes to customer service anywhere! We never felt rushed or strong-armed with an up-sell as we made our decision from among their many options. Isaac patiently answered all of our questions and was accommodating across the board. That said, bear in mind that some options there are fairly expensive in spite of seasonal discounts, etc... Even so, we're comfortable in recommending Urban Mattress to the Austin community at large. For a variety of reasons we've had to delay the delivery of our purchase, but if that experience goes as well as all that I've described, we'll look forward in adding an extra star to our review.
It’s the best, most comfortable mattress we’ve ever had.
The bed has been soft and comfy for going on three years. I sleep like a baby! If I recall correctly, I have a latex foam mattress.
If you want to sleep get this mattress. It cured my insomnia and maybe can cure other things but damn are these comfortable.
I love this store's customer service and I love the mattresses!
Honestly, at first it seemed like a good bed, but after having it a little over a year, it seems like we are going to have to replace it, uneven sleep spots, appears the final verdict is it is poorly made.
