Another Excellent Purchase! I had to suddenly move my 86-year-old mother from California to Austin to an assisted living facility. I needed a twin size 100% latex mattress pretty fast. I went to North Austin Urban Mattress, where I had previously purchased mattresses for my twin teenage boys (see previous glowing review) and I decided on the Luxe 4.0 Plush mattress, plus a box spring, mattress protector and bed frame. Unfortunately they didn't have any twin Luxe 4.0 in stock. I needed the mattress in a short time frame since I was going to pick up my Mom in two days and bring her back the following week. Shane, the Owner, helped me out by "drop shipping" one single mattress and box spring directly from Colorado to Austin so I would get it in time. It was such a stressful week moving her here, but we got her mattress in time and she had a place to sleep on her first night in her new place. The delivery guys were very professional and got her bed completely set up while we finished the paperwork at the retirement community. Wonderful! My mom LOVES her new mattress. The cover of it is actually beautiful and it's so soft. I'm getting pretty close to replacing my own mattress, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else to get one. Shane is such a decent human being. I love that they donate a portion of each purchase to a worthy charity. If you are in need of a mattress, and you're overwhelmed by all the commercials on TV and the many mattress stores in Austin, give Urban Mattress a try. You will be so glad you did.

As my husband was battling cancer and we had to keep finding the right mattresses to keep him comfortable, they were right there for us, every step of the way going beyond what I would think would be just good customer service to "we'll do whatever you need" type of service. They are about the customer first - no question. As I have told the owner, they have a customer for life! Their selection of great mattresses at all different price levels along with their fabulous customer service makes them # 1 in my book. Look no further!

From the first time I walked in the door of Urban Mattress through the final delivery of the mattress, it couldn't have been a better experience. Gary was very helpful and patient, answering all of my questions (when I made the initial visit to do the research). When I returned with my husband a few days later so we could make the final decision, Tamara was on duty and was also awesome! We initially did not want an adjustable bed due to potential safety issues with our 2 Chihuahuas and cat who share our bed. She was able to address our concerns (there is no danger to the pets) and also demonstrate how critical having the adjustable feature would be to make it even more comfortable. Just a slight adjustment of the head and foot controls makes all of the difference! With the combination of the side-sleeper pillows, sleeping on our new Bloom Camellia Plush has drastically improved our sleep quality! I gave this a 5-star rating due to the excellent customer service and quality product.

Stress-free process. I was able to check out all of the various mattresses in the showroom and ask all of the questions I needed to. They were very patient with me and didn't pressure me into purchasing anything on the spot. Mattress delivery team was just as great as the showroom team. Delivery was painless and the mattress is great.

Troy was totally awesome. Knowledgeable, helpful, and provided great suggestions. Bought an expensive Obasan; he has been very helpful with that. There was a delivery problem--the manufacturers mistake--and Urban Mattress gave us 2 pillows as an "sorry." I highly recommend going there.
