At American Standard it all begins with our unmatched legacy of quality and innovation that has lasted for more than 150 years. We provide the style and performance that fit perfectly into life, wherever that may be.
My experience was incredible. A few changes on when they were arriving; but that was because the product hadn’t arrived in time. When they came, they were professional, and very good at their job. I had both bathrooms done, and even had a tub taken out. I wanted walk-in showers because I’m getting old and needed safety bars. I thank them and their staff for incredible new showers! Frank is incredible at his job and Matt did a super job on my second shower.
1. Tub too narrow for my longer than usual arms. I bump my elbows all the time. 2. Tub door is too narrow for my size if I don't enter and exit sideways the sharp corner of the door scratches me. My balance is not good enough to be entering and exiting sideways.
We like the tub! That, in spite we had to have it repaired twice for leaks when it drained....turned out minor, 3 gaskets had to be replaced; just after a few months of use. Now, a few months later, we have other issues and the service department not too prompt to get them resolved.
They were very efficient and tidy. They cleaned everything up when they were done. They worked in a timely manner and finished as told they would.
Do not believe any of the good reviews they have posted. It has been 9 months, I have an unfinished shower and un useable shower.
Great salesman. Explained everything thoroughly of exactly what we needed. Very good cost and install by the men who did it. Well worth the price and materials, versus what I could have purchased and repaired or installed myself. Plus, the installer does not use your typical green board water proof sheet rock. He uses actual particle board, (plywood substitute), so there's no need to find wall studs if you needed to put extra safety wall handles. Whatever you order, is exactly what you wanted and/or needed. The greatest thing, however, is if you had to sell your home....the lifetime warranty is transferable to the new owner. That's a great plus. Thanks, you guys!
I ordered the walk in shower. I called to cancel it today because I lost my job and was treated as if was a criminal. They accused me of having it already installed. It wasn't even scheduled to be installed until November 3rd 2023. What a crock. Wendy at The finance Dept was so rude to me. If I was not a Christian lady I would of given her my mind. I was so upset from losing my job already. Then dealing with her Was not pleasant either. Do not deal with these people. If you are elderly. They will lie on you. They did me.
We purchased a Liberation Walk-in tub and had it installed on May 5 2023. When the tub is used it puts off a Methane (sewer) smell from our other sinks in the house. The handle on the door is loose. The lever to open or close the door has to be held to open the drain cock or to close the drain cock. The handle should stay in place by itself. The in-line heater is not working. The control panel's screws are loose. We had a plumber come out to inspect the problem with the smell. He said there should have been a vent installed for the tub. Also he said the drain violated Ohio plumbing codes. The plumber said the tub would have to be pulled out in order to install the vent and the proper drain. We do not feel good about pulling the tub out, in fear of compromising the integrity of the tub. We decided that we just want American Standard to come and get the tub and give us a full refund. We paid almost $22000 for the tub and feel the quality is just not there. American Standard has stated that if there is a problem with a homeowners plumbing the project is stopped. The installer is to inform the customers of the problem and how much to rectify the problem. That was not done in our case. Also two technicians came out and did virtually nothing to correct the problems.
We are happy with the tub, the installation could have been a little cleaner. The caulking was a little rough and reinstalling the door molding wasn't as clean and I had hoped.
Love our new hydrotherapy tub
Don't believe what they advertise as far as discount go, such as Medicare. It's just a tool to get a foot in the door. There was no mention of any kind discount, especially, medicare. I ended up paying $22000. So far I have no complaint about the installation or product reliability. I had thought the price should have been in the area $15000.
Good service
Very professional crew that took time to do the job right even down to the trim.
Installers did a GREAT job and the lead installer was available for later questions which is unusual.
The install was late being done but once done it was beautiful and we have enjoyed it. On the sad part it was not fully paint ready as you can see the circles in the ceiling where the electrician made the holes to run the power for the tub and the the toilet chain keeps hanging up causing the toilet to run and waste water. Also the new vanity that was installed after needing to remove the old one to get the new tub in has a cracked sink and the free return date is running out and the caulking around it was poorly installed. sadly the repair man has been to busy to come by.
They kept me informed of things that were to take place. They answered any questions I had. There was no problem when I needed to change the date of the installation.
The installers (top notch) and professional !
They delivered what they promised. Kept house clean and installed same day.
They arrive on time and completed the job to our satisfaction.
