I think Acuity is a great company. Anytime I’ve had a claim or issue they have been prompt and very easy to deal with. I do think my rates could be cheaper but all in all 8 am satisfied.
In a terrible storm, tree fell on our roof. Act of God i feel, but it was counted as a claim, raised my rates significantly. Last two to three years significant rate hikes, beside the tree failing on the roof never had a claim for the rate hikes to be legitimate!! Called to lower rates, they don't care!!
We had luggage stolen, and Acuity was very fair and quick to settle the claim. It amazed us as to the value of clothes and personal items with which we traveled. Including the value of the luggage.

I have in the last few years begin to drive considerably less and less. I put a call in to my agent inquiring if Acuity had a lower rate for those who drive less. He never called me back, despite him taking my call and getting my direct request. I then cLled Acuity, who told me they didn't offer this option. My primary reason for a low rating is because of my agent's lack of response as a customer.
