Ambient Underfloor Heating is a family-run business that started in 2002 supplying underfloor heating to homes across the UK online. Since then, the business has increased to over 50 employees, operating from a 23,000 sq ft of warehouse space. Despite this growth, Ambient continues to uphold the family values to which the business was built and continues to operate through the same websites just as it did in 2002.
Product suitability and selection advice was provided on the phone and all queries were dealt with knowledgeably. The product is not yet installed but it arrived on time and special instructions were adhered too. The recipient is a partially disabled lady that has had bad experiences with other companies that have failed to stick to delivery slots and refused to place packages inside her house. Delivery by Ambient was as requested and the recipient was very pleased with the quality of service. The 4* rating is because I've not yet installed the product so I can't yet comment on the product performance.
Ambiant Heating's web site was a doddle to negotiate, very well laid out and informative. Their prices were very competitive and the heating system I ordered was confirmed swiftly and I was delivered a few days later. Instructions provided were clear and concise. I have used this type of product before and feel confident that when installed in my property in SW France this system will be completely satisfactory. Than you for a very good service.

Excellent service, prices, and delivery, nothing more to say really, other than this is a top class company and I will recomend them to anyone.
I used the website to assessed exactly what my requirements were, I found this easy to follow so I placed my order, however within the comments section of the order I explained what I was doing and to contact me if I had ordered the incorrect kit. The confirmation email was pretty instant and a second one followed very swiftly clarifying I'd ordered the correct stuff, I received delivery the following day of exactly what I'd ordered!

I have just ordered two replacement thermostat / timers for my kitchen and dining room underfloor systems. They were both installed around 4 years ago and I had been very happy with the ease of installation and the efficiency of operation. The failure of both timers just a year out of warranty is therefore somewhat disappointing!
very quick delivery was initally worried expected much bigger box but no need everything was present,liked the idea of spare sensor for thermostat saving potential problems if failure, only thing is dont do as I did and fit themostst too high 6 foot as its much clearer if you are looking down on it by a foot rather than up but other than that scarily easy to instal would like a tad warmer but we have 15 foot ceilings so takes some heating.
My customer requested under-tile heating to the bathroom I was planning to install for him. I Googled around for different suppliers and liked the look of Ambient flooring's website as well as the prices. There seemed to be plenty of advice available which was a great help as I hadn't ever installed under-floor heating. I install kitchen & bathrooms for a living and am quite handy at most things so was quite confident. The order process was straight forward and my goods arrived promptly, well packaged and as ordered. Installation was a little tricky and had to keep refering to the instructions but I managed without any major problems. My customer is happy with the finished job and the heating is working well so far. The supplied electronic programmer is well designed and looks good. It's the first time I've used this company but I'm sure I'll be using Ambient again in the future.

That about sums it up really. I wanted some advice on insulation boards. I rang Dave GOOSE he wasn't available at that time but he rang back shortly afterwards, answered my query and gave me all the advice I needed. Very impressive

As a trade installer I have installed many systems from Ambient. I have always been encouraged by their helpful service, and they have always bent over backwards to help resolve any issues (never with the product, only the installer!!) I would thoroughly recommend them for price, service and product quality. Much better value than Warm-up for example, but with every bit as good a product!
