A typical scam company asks you for credit card information before the "free trial" in hope that you don't read the fine print or simply forget to cancel before the trial ends. Typical scam companies and scam apps also have VERY HIGH monthly fees that do not reflect the service provided in any way. I am not saying that this company is a scam, but it fits the profile as it wants your credit card info before the trial and has very high monthly fees.

Worthpoint offers information to help sell your antiques etc ... i consulted them about price for 2 mid-century dressers that i've had for decades and got a fair price for them on craigslist! when i realized they were charging me for renewing my subcription, they were super cooperative and refunded my money immediately. i would definitely use them again if the need arises.

Worthless. For what they charge monthly is ridiculous. I could not find any of my items and other items from other people where so low that It’s not worth putting items in them and a lot of them were sold years ago. Don’t spend the money.

All the info they provide used to be free. They have stolen and collected data that at one time was available to the rich and poor alike. When I tried it out a few years ago concerning a collectable, the information they provided had absolutely no value to me.

I have an Etsy shop where I sell curated vintage treasures. I started with Worthpoint on a free trial and thoroughly enjoyed the great service and information they provided. Recently, I suffered a medical and financial setback and decided to close my shop for a while and cancel my Worthpoint subscription. They were so understanding! I got a personal call back within 24 hours after leaving a message and was swiftly, politely and professionally taken care of! When I am ready again, I will certainly consider a Worthpoint subscription as it is a valued tool to grow my business. P.S., Etsy reseller

Ok, so I got this Hamms beer blue limited edition coin bank car, and I want to know how much it costs, but I have to pay to find out??? Honestly seems just plain greedy, I understand people need money, that's why I was searching it up, but the prices are just pretty high, (at least i think so) Edit: so i guess worthpoint is mad at my review, i looked at all the rules, and the only thing i could see even close to me breaking the rules of were "it's not based on a actual experience" but even so i did visit the website, but cool i guess second edit, this may sound stubborn but i wouldn't do the free trial because all the bad reviews seem to be based on that, and right now im saving up for something, 27 or 30 dollars may not seem like a hard blow but i'm trying to be safe here

I cancelled the account 15 minutes after signing up, I only had one thing I was trying to research and Worthpoint gave me useless information anyway. I have cancelled the subscription and supposedly had 6 of 7 free searches left but for some reason worthpoint keeps trying to charge me 24 dollars. I have my paypal account frozen for now.

I am an Ebay Top Rated seller and have dealt in vintage electronics, tools, collectibles, and Americana for over 20 years. After using Worthpoint for less than a month, I can only say I wish I had joined sooner. The ability to see historical data and pricing on the many obscure and unique items I come across in my daily dealings is invaluable. I would say that my initial 3 month subscription cost has EASILY been covered by the items i had waiting for research which are now listed thanks to Worthpoint's extensive archive. I will definitely renew for the full year when the time comes. In regards to the many negative reviews which have dragged down Worthpoint's rating here, I found this to be due to the unfortunate trend of people expecting every service on the internet to be free and to disgorge whatever info they are looking for on demand. Worthpoint is a paid service, and from my experience so far, worth every penny.

Although I only used the trial membership, I have seen where folks had issues cancelling before the time was up and being charged. I just want to say that wasn’t my experience. They took care of my cancellation quickly and without issues. Just stay on top of it. But they did a fine job.

I called and asked what was i being charged for because i did not know that I had ordered anything. I was told that I had signed up for something but I was only looking. No problem gave me a refund and canceled me. They listened and did the right thing . I say thank You.

I used worthpoint for one month to sell some things on ebay. I thought I had taken care of cancelling the subscription but apparently had forgotten as a mom of two (ONE BEING A NEWBORN). I kindly asked for a refund for the second month, and was responded to immediately with a yes. Most companies basically tell you you're out of luck if you forget. I find this was very kind in this hard time and would definitely use this site again in the situation I needed to price out anything else.

I am ashamed of the ethics of this entire company, and each employee. They have stolen all the data they provide, and then GOUGE innocent hard working people who want this stolen info. You are each knowingly part of that machine. I would rather eat a dirt sandwich than work for this company. People THINK! Worthpoint gets ALL its information from US! From OUR work, OUR effort, our auctions, OUR results AND THEN TURNS AROUND AND SELLS IT BACK TO US AT A MONSTER PRICE! THAT IS FLEECING AMERICA!

As a new subscriber, I had some issues in navigating the website. When I called Customer Service, I was lucky enough to get Katharine who was so helpful and resolved all my issues perfectly. Highly recommend both Worthpoint and Katharine!

I had to write a review for worthpoint because it’s important to me that the people and/or businesses looking for a resource to help them sell or resell collectibles, know that Worthpoint is an INVALUABLE tool for pricing, trends, and much more. If you are a seller.....don’t pay attention to the negative reviews!!!! This website and the app, have helped me price items for my eBay store and I am not kidding when I tell you that within 3 days, I had paid for my monthly rate by being able to properly price, list and sell on eBay. Whether you are a new seller (like myself) or an experienced business owner, Worthpoint in something you need in your arsenal. Worthpoint curates, with its many data partners, all types of auctions and sales and with their filters and sorting features, you can do all kinds of research on just about ANYTHING thats out there. They offer mini webinars so you can see everything their website has to offer. Worthpoint is now my first stop in my listing process on eBay. I’m new to eBay, but I can say that Worthpoint has made me more confident in my pricing and my net sales figures show it. You won’t regret Worthpoint.

Can't speak for the experience if you're a paid member (I suppose professional collectors / traders of antiques), but whenever I look for any information on an item of some significant value this website immediately pops up in Google - and it's completely pointless, as it won't give you any useful information unless you pay...

Worthpoint (WP) has been a very useful reference tool to me. I am a frequent thrift store shopper, and am always curious if I sold the items what I should charge and expect to get. Again WP is an invaluable tool for me.
