As someone who has sold on eBay for almost 15 years, I have now used Worthpoint for about a year. Will list pro's and con's Pro's - 1) images. Most items can be found by looking. I have a lot of items that I cant find comps for and the visual side really helps. 2) Data - there is more data - I dont remember the number of years they have but it is many more than eBay. Again for unique things, this is invaluable. 3) Ability to sort - this is kind of pro and con as you can sort but not with as many options as ebay closed items Con's (note this is based on selling on eBay - NOT other platforms) - 1) the categories to me are not "natural" ie not what I think of when I want to search. This is especially critical in the CSA ie clothing and accessory category. It is called "textiles, clothing and accessories". So includes things like rugs, fabric, and quilts. The CSA need to be split out. 2) geared more toward "collectibles" than other. As with #2, this is geared more toward in my opinion antique and vintage hard goods collectors vs clothing and purse sellers. This may or may not be good based on your business 3) Sort is by only best match, price (high low) and sale date. Because some categories pull in data that is not applicable, these sorts can pull in too much data. Need some additional data fields to sort by 4) Visual vs data driven - I used to use Terapeak and I know that my observation was that they were much more data driven - ie you could pull what times were best for relisting. At the moment I cant afford both so for ME I like the visual for my current needs. But if you have a huge volume you really need more hard data and stats like percents sold, etc. Bottom line is its a good tool if you know the pros and cons and it works for what you sell

I did have a difficult time signing up initially, but that problem was rectified personally by Will Seiple, whom I was fortunate to meet at an event in NY last October. Since then, no issues at all. My problem is that I probably don't use it enough, but that is on me. If there is any critique I could give, it is that sometimes, the first few items are an exact match for your search, but then a bunch of seemingly unrelated items are also included in the results. In summary, I think it's an excellent resource because it goes back eight years. vut you have to use it enough to make it worth the subscription price.

I am new to the everyday eBay world of selling, when I need that extra help I can rely on Worthpoint to help me out. The site has not failed me yet so a five star rating is truly deserved. Thanks Worthpoint you also save me time in research.

As a small-time, part-time seller on eBay, I wasn't sure I needed to spend hard-earned $$$ for this service. On the advice of other successful online sellers I took the plunge and was honestly surprised at the value I received for the money invested. Ebay research can only get you so far. If your item is in season and modern, you can probably find it with ease. If you're looking for sold prices for Christmas items in April: not so much. Or vintage muumuus from a now defunct Hawaiian company: ditto. Enter Worthpoint. Information goes back years, not months. Which also broadens your chance of finding that rare oddball item and often gives me additional keywords I had never thought of using. What might have taken me hours to research, now took minutes. Does it work every time? No, but it does pay for itself every month many times over. Bottom line: a great value for the money, even for a small business owner. Highly recommended!

I started a 7 day free trial. They said I could look up 7 items. I looked up 3 with different variations. Then I was charged 19.99 I stopped use of this sight. I called them Monday AM 7-20-15. When they told me they were not authorized to issue a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me he would give me a call back. I waited till Wed am 7-22-15 called She said manager will call me back. Now I see they canceled my subscription on the 22nd after our phone call. I called this morning 7-23-15 asking who canceled my subscription she ( Anita ) said she did she said you stated You did not want the service you wanted a refund so I canceled your subscription . I asked am I getting a refund her reply was " NO Mam " She took me around in circles. I am completely dissatisfied with there customer service and the searches I did do were very outdated. there is more sold listings on ebay than there sight it. I have been researching prices for 10 years now this is by far the worst research sight I have ever been on. I read the agreement and it states look up 7 items. I only looked up 3. After 3 days they canceled my subscription with out my consent and with out a refund.

I signed up with a discount for 12 months. For the first three months my billing was wrong. Good news is when I called to cancel the couldn't have cared less. Didn't even ask why. Never again

I had heard the service discussed over the last few years but had a bit of trepidation in joining. If I'm honest that was all down to me thinking that I was smarter than the service. Several months ago I ended up with an old wall clock and had zero luck finding any record of it being sold or establishing a value so I decided to give Worthpoint's free trial a shot. Within minutes I had the information that I was seeking and on the resulting sale was able to maximize my profit at least $200 more than I would have had I not had access to the information provided by Worthpoint. I started using it on a regular basis and was able to determine VERY quickly that the return heavily outweighed the minimal monthly investment

We have been using the service for several years and it is a great help for our eBay and Amazon business. Product identification, pricing and description keyword help provide great data for our business. Also, of great value is the history they maintain long after the eBay data has been deleted. The owner of WP attends many of the eCommerce industry gatherings and listens to users input for many of the new features that have been rolled out the last two years. WorthPoint is the best.... I've been a Worthpoint subscriber for a few years and have to say I'm quite happy with the service. I like the fact that they can pull information on hard-to-find items going back several years. When I signed up I had a little glitch and their customer service was on it and resolved it almost immediately.

If you sell online you need sales information that is more than 30 days old especially for seasonal items or items not sold on a daily or weekly basis. Worthpoint offers this service and for a very nominal fee you can have the sales data you need to determine a fair market value price for your item. Like any other "program" it will take a few minutes to study and learn how to use it. Those who do not like it have not taken that time in my humble opinion for once you understand how to use it to its best ability you will wonder how you ever did without it in the first place. The small cost per month is greatly offset in higher selling prices for your items.

Worthpoint.com offers exactly what it says it does: millions of sales results that I use to identify and price items that I sell on eBay. I hemmed and hawed about joining, but was told by friends that Worthpoint is the best place to find the data I need. I use it several times a day and hes helped my make more moeny than I would have without the service. Now, as to all of the low and bad reviews I've read here and other places about this company. The free trial is EXACTLY as it says it is, and if these people had read the conditions, which are clearly stated, they would not have a complaint or they are looking for something for nothing. You get seven free lookups or seven days. If you do not cancel before then, you are charged for the first month. Simple as that. And to complain that the results are just eBay results, that is not true, either, and then, so what? I have seen items that have sold at auction houses and the EBay results go back several years (2007 at least) and eBay's own old Sold Listings only go back 3 months! Don't believe the bad reviews. Worthpoint is totally worth your business and made my business MORE PROFITABLE!

I signed up for their 7 day free trial, looked up 1 item, which was incorrect in value. Cancelled the service the next day, by phone, because they billed paypal immediately. Day 5 still no refund, sent email message cancelling and phone call message AGAIN. No RESPONSE!!! Day 7 called again, had to leave message, sent email cancelling again! NO RESPONSE Called again Day 10, left message, NO RESPONSE. Contacted Paypal, disputing 19.99 charge, report to BBB and filing complaint with consumer fraud with AG office Atlanta, GA. COMPLETE RIPOFF SCAM - AVOID!!

I have quite a bit of inherited antiques, silver, china, oriental rugs and antiquities acquired through world travels. 99% of the items listed on WorthPoint come from Ebay! I have done my own research and fared far better than WorthPoint. I also agree with the other reviews about the 7 Day or 7 times Free Trial. It is a scam!

I tried there free lookup, 7 lookups or 7 days, I looked up 2 items and then a page popped up saying activate your account. So I did but I didn't know that this lets them charge you $19.95 for a month of lookups. So I found out later! I looked up 2 items and canceled my subscription. When I asked for a refund I was sent a form letter stating that I looked up to many items and activated my 1 month account. O and my account was shut down so a got 2 lookups and 2 hours for $19.95. This is fraud. I paid through PayPay and have opened a dispute.

avoid absolutely this site, dont never give the credit card ,i have losen 200 150 euros ,i have changed my credit card

Firstly, you probably shouldn't give Worthpoint your credit card details for the reasons others have stated on their reviews unless you are very brave! Secondly, just don't waste your time and effort. You can search without registering (and you get the same results as a paying customer or on trial - just without the prices showing). What you will notice is there are typically results from early-mid 2014 or earlier and then next to nothing (or nothing) more recent, even when you know there have been recent sales. Compare to a sold listings search in eBay and Worthpoint simply won't have all the data for completed sales. It is a great idea for a service, but the patchy quality of the data and the dubious business practices of the company in terms of credit card charging make it fairly worthless.

I also signed up for just the "free" trial. My card was charged right away. I cancelled within an hour of signing up and they refuse to refund me saying I clicked on some button and that activated the monthly membership. I better not get charged again. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. What a rip off this company is!

Absolute nightmare of a sight. DO NOT give them your credit card number.

I accepted the trial conditions on a friends recommendation. Unfortunately, her experience was from years ago. From the first entry, the website response was faulty. I was interested in only one painter and her work. Initially the site claimed to have prices for 84 paintings. It was incredibly frustrating to keep entering the search only to have excuses come up as to why there the promised results were unavailable. The call to terminate service was difficult (long wait time, inability of the service rep to handle the call etc.) and ultimately required another call. When there was no refund issued, another call resulted in being told, with absolutely no apology, "you used your seven inquiries". My explanation of prices not being available meant nothing to the representative and I was told there was nothing to be done. Other than "Tyler" who showed some personality as well as interest in helping me, the phone representatives do a poor job of disguising their contempt. Please stay away from this site unless you enjoy being duped. I'll be writing to Consumer Affairs and BBB, the only recourse to this unethical company.
