App simply does not work on android phones. Loads a white screen then freezes over and over again. Re-install does not fix problem. Customer service at Worthpoint is completely unresponsive. This is an expensive subscription for a CrApp App. ***Update*** it took me a full hour and 7 phone calls to Worthpoint this a.m. to get a human on the phone. Thoroughly frustrating experience. After 9 or 10 times re-installing the app, it finally seems to be working. Wasted a lot of time messing with this.

Worthpoint is fantastic if you're a reseller and know what you are doing. It archives eBay listings for years. I might find one comp on eBay sold listings but dozens on Worthpoint. You might not want to use this if you can't read. Many of the complaints are about the trial period. I'm not sure how much more clear they can be. Does it need to be in picture book form? So if you're a skilled seller who is capable of 4th grade level reading comprehension, this is for you.

Clearly, most of the people who are giving Worthpoint a bad review here did not read or understand the free trial and subscription information that was clearly laid out on their website. As with any other free trial, there is a periodic charge for the subscription if you exceed and/or do not discontinue the free trial. These reviews are not helpful to determine if Worthpoint is useful for determining the worth of items you are considering to sell. I have found Worthpoint one of many useful tools for this purpose. If you are sourcing or pricing rare or unusual items, it is a reasonable cost considering it can help you avoid the cost of underselling items.

Scam company. After a 7 day "trial," they will continue to bill your credit card ad inifinitum. The fine print says that you have to cancel or be billed. Worthpoint will not notify you when your trial period is up, they will not send you invoices or in any way flag that they are billing you, because the scam is they want to continue to bill you, when you don't use their services. There are hundreds of complaints across the web. Because I don't look at my credit bills as carefully as I should, I was scammed for almost a year by their bills. When irate dupes call to complain, their message is, "Too bad. File a complaint with your credit card company." We're all in a bind, because clearly we are caught with the fine print. BEWARE!!!!!!

Not worth it, if I could give zero I would . I signed up for the trial, was navigating around trying to figure out if the site provided info on products and value outside of eBay. Everything I tried to find went back to eBay which I can do for free. I cancelled the trial the same day I signed up but was charged $20 two days later. It's a complete rip off. I was told I looked up 20 items. I didn't I looked up 6or 7 and was navigating around to figure out what the site provided. Save yourself the money and hassle and just go on eBay and use the filters. It's free and you get the same information.

I have cancelled 3x and they keep charging again. reply to their comment: I cancelled in January and then re-cancelled again March when I saw it kept billing. I'm having the bank compile everything since your system is wrong.

As a new free trial member, I had questions about how to see the prices for the items that have been sold. I tried several times to re-enter everything, and clicked on the item pictures, but no prices came up. Before giving up, I called Customer Service and Miranda answered. She said she would walk me through step by step since I am not skilled yet on navigating websites. We got to the point I needed in two minutes, three minutes faster than the five she estimated! I am writing this commendation for Miranda so you don't give up. She was "Amazon Prime customer service" caliber--patient with my slow typing, charming in manner, clear English-speaking, and made me comfortable. Whatever Worthpoint is paying her, she's worth more in terms of reflecting very positively on the company image!

Really misleading website. Started the free trial, on my very 1st use of the generous 7 free tries you get to compare prices i was charged because i clicked a button which said 'activate membership now'. I assumed this meant i would be activating my free trial and was instantly charged $40. Called their customer service many times in hours and zero response. I want a refund or else i will be contacting my bank to dispute this.

I've found Worthpoint to be invaluable as an auctioneer, certified appraiser and full time picker. I use the iPhone app in the field several times a week! Here's the thing: What this company is trying to do, mega-volume evaluation and curation of millions of antiques & collectibles, is an ENORMOUS task. There's no way they are going to get it right 100% of the time, nor should they be expected to. BUT, if you're looking for a site/app that will help you evaluate, appraise, save and make you money more often than not, and one that constantly looks to improve their product, then this is the one! They've been around for about 10 years now. They've tirelessly responded positively to critiques, glitches and bumps in the road when most companies would have thrown in the towel on such a massive project. Props to them for that!

Not worth it. Their trial period terms are intentionally confusing, and they do as little as possible to remind you before your trial ends, which I felt was predatory. And as a dealer, honestly... it's not that useful. If you don't know what something's worth, just aim high and reduce it over time. And several items I looked up didn't really have enough comps in their database (in one case, I found zero) to determine much. Their interface was tedious, too.

I have had subscription to Worthpoint for close to 5 years. I use it almost every day to check past sale prices of merchandise that I want to price for ebay. I want the history of sale prices, not just the last 2 weeks. Often times with collectible there hasn't been a sale for over a year and Worthpoint will have that information. Several times I have purchased an item to resell thinking that it was a good buy, but when I check Worthpoint I find it was a GREAT buy, hundreds more than I guessed! I feel that it is definitely worth the money.

A great tool for resellers and collectors. WorthPoint has data that goes back years. It can help you identify your item if you are not sure what you have but it also helps you value that item. As a reseller, I use it every day. There have been numerous times that I would have not gotten my full value on items without WorthPoint's help. An item that I picked up to resell I planned on pricing at about $25 until WorthPoint research indicated my item was valued at $75. I am happy to report it sold for asking price of $75 There is so much more to WorthPoint including a catalog of marks and logos AND on online library of research books. I consider it an invaluable tool!

Worthpoint is aboslutely on point! We sell some stuffs on eBay and this app makes our search better and faster for items that you cannot see on eBay as sold items! even they have the rare ones! it also shows the price and date when the item is sold so we know if we're going to adjust the price, this app is a life savior!

I can't treasure hunt without this app! This app helps me make quick decisions on whats worth buying while I'm out product sourcing for items to sell on eBay!

I wish I had read these reviews before committing to anything with this company. If you're considering it - it is NOT worth the hassle, Judging by my experience and the other bad reviews it seems this company is more of a 'free trial scam' than a reputable valuation service - they count on people not realising they're being charged so that they can make money. I signed up for Worthpoint last year but didn't receive any type of confirmation email for the signup or payment and didn't use the service. I overlooked the monthly charge as I travel a lot and thought 'Worthpoint' was a 'cash point' as we say in the UK instead of ATM. It's only since I stopped travelling the passed couple months that I noticed this unusual charge for a service that was never confirmed to me. I asked for a refund as they could see from my account that I hadn't been using the service but they gave me a generic answer of - "It states on the website that we'll keep taking your money" - what it doesn't say is "this will carry on forever and we will never send you a thing to remind you that we're quietly taking your money". I've signed up for a few other 'free trials' from reputable companies and didn't end up continuing the service and have ALWAYS been refunded. Most reputable companies actually care about offering a good service and protecting their reputation - if they see their services haven't been used they have the integrity to offer refunds but not Worthpoint. They're a horrible company who care more about making a quick buck than creating an honest business.

Waste of money! Paid $20 a month for absolutely nothing! Wouldn’t give me any sold prices or info, waste of money! Keep your money!! They will if you don’t want it. They told me there was an error on there activation so I had to pay! And yes they offered me 1 month for free, woo-hoo. Pay for 2 months that doesn’t work so they offer me 1 month free. Wow what a deal! How about apologizing and offer a refund and I’d probably say great, no problem and continue with my subscription.

This is a joke. I was trying to cancel my subscription but instead they charged me and wont give me my money back. Now my bank account is negative $49. And I dont know how I'm going to fix this. This site is Worthless more like it.

Worthpoint can come in handy for the right items. There are so many prices for mixed lots because your search word pucks up something in the lot. This mixed lots prices are completely worthless when trying to evaluate the worth of an item, yet there are thousands of them on Worthpoint. There are are an insane amount of duplicated listings sometimes the same items shows up a dozen times in one search.
