I canceled my subscription a week after going with a free trial.. It is still taking 23.99 outta my account as of yesterday.. Plz give me my money back and stop this subscription again..
Absolutely terrible I have unsubscribed straight after accidentally signing up and having a look back over my bank statements.. the filthy basta..s have been taking money off me for the past 6 months at $51.00 every month!! This is bul...it!!
They offered free trial , took my credit card , then even though i changed my mind and canceled straight after ...took my $30 the dirty THEIVES I e-mailed them many times requesting they return my monet but they ignored me every time
I happened onto the Worthpoint while researching a Rare book I had just purchased. Worthpoint was the ONLY place I found anything about this book. I signed up for the free trial, found the sale prices I was looking for. I then looked up a few more prices and when my 7 freebies ran out, I cancelled my subscription. I immediately received confirmation of my cancellation. I now know of a good resource to look to in the future and may possibly join.
I subscribed to Worthpoint months ago, cancelling the subscription when I had no use for it, and re-subscribing when I did. The last time I re-subscribed, I couldn't view the values. I thought perhaps a glitch in the system, so cancelled the Paypal and tried again. It appeared to work fine, and my Paypal showed Worthpoint as 'active' for payments. Back to Worthpoint website, and I could not view values - but was asked to re-subscribe. So, I tried cancelling and re-subscribing to receive a message the Paypal was in use - collaborating the Paypal 'active' status. I emailed Worthpoint twice before receiving a reply. I was informed I needed to re-subscribe... After another few emails, the support person said my Paypal wasn't showing as active... I sent them a screenshot to prove it... but they said it wasn't. This is their email... "I understand that PayPal is saying active, however, no payment has been made on this account. We attempted payment and it was declined. You then requested for the account to be cancelled. It has been cancelled since then. The account will need to be activated again with payment. Once you cancel your account and PayPal is associated with the account, you are unable to use this PayPal again. You will need to put a new PayPal account on file to sign up or a debit/credit card." My reply... So basically you are telling me Paypal is lying when it shows as active? I can’t view, I can’t subscribe… if I cancel the already ‘active’ subscription and try again, Worthpoint website tells me Paypal is already in use. I cannot see why I should have to open another Paypal account, and nor will I. The problem is down to poor programming on the website. "Once you cancel your account and PayPal is associated with the account, you are unable to use this PayPal again." The above statement is wrong… I have cancelled and re-subscribed in the past, so the ‘you can’t use the same PayPal again’ is a fallacy. ***** I have had no further correspondence from Worthpoint despite two further emails requiring assistance, and I refuse to use a credit or debit card. I will be cancelling my Paypal... again... and this time for good. It took a little research, but I have found the value of items elsewhere. If you are reading this and contemplating a subscription, I suggest you do the same. Edit... I have not put this in the 'wrong' business as Worthpoint suggest! Hi Denise G You reviewed Worthpoint, who believe your review actually belongs to another business. ***** Second edit to the Worthpoint reply... I did not 'try' to re-subscribe as according to my Paypal active payment and your own website which stated Paypal was in use for my account... I succeeded. There is no confusion apart from the poor programming of your payment system.
I had an issue with a charge to my card that I clearly was at the fault of. They were kind, courteous, understanding, and quick to solve my issue, which ended with a full refund. This site has the prices you are looking for and and above average, I would say outstanding, customer service care.
First Class, highly professional. Prompt, effective personalized customer service. This should be your go to for buying service or research !!!
Rep Katharine was so nice in getting my annual subscription squared away for me. I'd run into a snag with my associated email and she was extremely helpful. Definitely went above and beyond to assist. Overall a great experience!
This in NO a price reference at all. This is an auction place and you will be far from the true if you think that the prices shown here are accurate. Do not believe the MSRP price shown by companies that find the price in this WorthPoint.
Charged twice past the trial period despite cancelling. Worth point refuse to cancel both payments. I would highly advise against even using this company for a trial! They are grabbing my 40 dollars over a technicality, despite me never using the service during this time. 0 stars, don't use this overpriced and dishonest service.
When my stepfather passed, it fell on me to inventory AND VALUE his estate for the courts. I didn’t even know what some of that stuff WAS let alone what it was worth! When I found WorthPoint I knew my problems were solved! In a matter of a month, I was able to look up hundreds and hundreds of items and, most importantly, including books, furniture, and Art. There were only maybe 3 items I couldn’t nail down, but I did see thousands (literally) of items similar enough to know I may never find something identical, but generally what it’s worth overall. With photos of nearly everything and fast search results, I can hand in my valuation to the courts with ample support for the figures I used, showing multiple and recent auction sales amounts. The price was completely fair, and to be honest, for what I got out of it, I’d have been willing to pay more for the month I used it. As for customer service, when I forgot to cancel the recurring subscription fee I called, got a real person quite quickly, explained my error, and had a refund before I hung up! There are next to no companies I can say you can expect that kind of service from. I am very pleased and very grateful for this service and for their customer service. For me, it was perfect. If you are not sure and still undecided, give them a try!
I had to value a houseful of belongings for probate and I found this site invaluable. Happy to pay the subscription for the short period I used it as it saved me a huge amount of time. I don't understand the bad reviews which basically seem to be along the lines of "why should I pay so much for something I don't want?" This app isn't for everyone, but if you need to value a large amount of possessions its invaluable.
Worthpoint....... I wonder when I am going to get a refund of the money you have kept on drawing out of my account without I noticed it some weeks ago. You phone number is closed.... This is a friendly question and request..... Thank you
I opened an account by mistake (I was trying to buy an item and found it as a Worthpoint post) and really LOVED that this site exists! Though I couldn't buy the item, I was able to see what it typically sold for over the years and that made me more informed as I look for it online.
Ridiculous you have to pay so much just to see when something was sold and how much it was. Do not waste your money.
I found the resources on this site very helpful. However, I no longer needed the service and had an issue with cancelling it. Their customer service was wonderfully helpful. I would recommend this company and website to others and also use it again if I have the opportunity.
Such a great helpful site helped me sell so many products highly recommend this site well worth the money
I think it's a great resource if you buy or sell a lot of unusual items, which I do. Many of the rare items aren't available in free resources like Ebay's 60 day saved solds, or on Liveauctioneers. I had a couple free trials with Worthpoint over the years (under different emails) and never had trouble cancelling, but you do need to keep track of the 7 day period. I finally treated myself to a regular subscription and am so glad I did; such a help when out picking or thrifting, or just for pricing your items!
I am a new amateur buyer and seller on Ebay. I was curious to use the free trial so joined today. Used 5/7 free price searches in a 2 hour period before cancelling. I have read the negative reviews on here and needed to find out for myself for future purposes. I logged into my account and subscription and cancelled my free trial period. Within about 20 minutes i had an email confirming my cancelled subscription and am happy. The service itself told me what i needed to know about the 5 items i checked up and what price they sold for and when, i decided to stick with ebay sales only as that is currently the only medium i use for selling. It included a pickup no 11 with sound control for a gramophone/ bayeux tapestry swatch watch/ Coates khedive toilet clippers / Trench art 1902 king Edward VII one penny and a 1895-1901 Queen victoria farthing coin spoon and finally an original west German BMF Schnapskrugerl miniature glass stein, to help me decide on pricing. Note i am not a seller wishing to occupy the most an item can possibly sell for category but one in which i make a profit by selling goods to either an endgame collector who wishes it for their collection or someone like me who also wishes to make a profit from things they buy from me. So i attempt to sell with that in mind and this site allows me to set prices accordingly. I now know that i can cancel without problem, i will be re subscribing next year, with a view to using it on a youtube channel i will be setting up. Only part of that channel will deal with this but it will be a weekly segment called 'The antiques of a complete novice' in which i will be doing a blog on what i have bought, the information i have found out about those items through Worthpont amongst other things and how much i am pricing them at . This will be aimed at other amateurs like myself who may wish to do what i am doing for a hobby or a business.
Worthpoint helped me out greatly with an item, that I could not find any information on anywhere else. Monthly fee high, yes, but well worth it if you have a lot of items to research in order to resell.
