DO NOT AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SIGN UP THERE. It's total misleading. They don't offer the correct prices items on Ebay are sold for. They only show the "Buy now" Ebay price but you can not see the real price the item was sold for like when you use the "make an offer" option.m. I contacted them numerous times about that and never heard back from them. I wonder why... So stay as far away as you can! Edit: Their reply down below is the typical answer you get from non communicating websites that tries to cover their bacon like worthpoint. A long answer without ANY real substance or god forbid an explanation as to why it is blatant incorrect. Edit part II: Yes I have an agenda. I'll do my best to save other people from making the same mistake I made and that's spending money on a subscription to your inaccurate site. The simple fact that you don't comment specifically about my issue speaks for itself.
I Wish i could try my week long trial period again
Worthpoint is a great resource for collectors. I turn to Worthpoint when i considering new items for my numerous collections. The information they provide is quite valuable to me.
I have learned so much from Worthpoint!
Worthpoint has been very helpful in finding information on items.
The web version works just fine, but the phone app is horrible. It will say the search returned "354" results - but it will only show you about 15 of them. There's no 2nd page to go to - it just stops scrolling and you can't see anything else. Extremely frustrating since I want to use it on my phone, but the results are useless.
Been following and using Worthpoint since they launched.
Best app ever. Helps a lot when buying antiques and collectibles.
I signed up for the FREE trial to see if it was worth the money. My transaction was declined due to insufficient funds. Why were they trying to take money if they say they wont charge till after 7 days are up? I tried to read all fine print and didnt see anything about that, i didnt see about 7 searches ethier. So glad i was declined! I live on a fixed income. I cant afford loosing 40 right now. Your better off reading the reviews more so than thier fine print! Then u will know what the deal is.
awesome site
Hi i needed something reliable to see true prices on antique pocket watches,i tryed it one day looking up two watches and it brought me to ebay, thats not a professional sight for prices, hell i do that now for refrence. So after not being satisfied i immediately cancelled within an hour of sighning up ,today they still billed me for the sight ,wonder if i have to get new card these people are a scam beware,i will be trying to get money back .and ill call better buisness bureau if money not returned
Beware - Worthpoint says you have a 7 day free trial period to test our the site, but in all reality, if you use the service during that time, they charge you. So when I discovered Worthpoint just recycles eBay sold prices on their site, I cancelled after 2 days. I was given a PARTIAL refund for using the service. That is just plain false advertising, and when I tried to speak with management about it, that person was "out of the office". Worthpoint should be named Worthless. Just use eBay and stay away from Worthless.
I would like to be able to use the service I have been paying for these past two years! Auto pay at up each quarter. Problem is, late 2016 I could no longer access my account. Haven't been able to reach a person, just receive emails from company saying it's fixed. Well it is not and I'm very unhappy to have to continually receive emails only. Update... Received a call from Worthpoint after posting this review. Refunded one quarter payment and I canceled the account. Thanks.
Customer service for me was awesome-way beyond my expectations!! Went above and beyond to get my account straightened out. Selling antiques and collectibles, I need Worthpoint for getting accurate pricing, when I didn't have it, some things I was just guessing on the price and that can cost me money. Worthpoint goes back years and when you have an item that you can't find any comps on, it's usually there on Worthpoint. A must have tool for me!! Don't want to be without it! It's information that I can't usually get anywhere else.
Just signed up for Worthpoint. I was very happy with the information available until I realized that much of it must be actually inaccurate. Worthpoint seems to report asking prices from Ebay rather than sold prices. Ebay will strike through an asking price and indicate "best offer accepted" so that you know the seller did not get asking price. This reality is not conveyed by Worthpoint. For example, I sold a Bruno Zupan painting on Ebay a year or two ago. I asked for $6,000 but accepted a best offer for a lesser amount. Yet Worthpoint reports the painting as sold for $6,000. This is a huge problem.
They made the whole refund process very difficult!!! Claimed they dont do refunds at all over the phone which is a lie as soon as I reached out to my cc company I got an email from them about a refund.
Awesome tool allowing me to identify glassware and collectibles as part of my eBay consignment business . Makes my life so much easier as a successful eBay seller!
Excellant place to get Price Guides and to find out about you antiquties ~ Nery easy to use
I have been in the antique business for over 30 years and pricing changes yearly. Worthpoint helps me track trends and see a variety of pricing for a particular item over a span of several years so i can make a decision if I am going to buy something to resell or how I want to price my item. It also helps me decide with best offers if they are within range of past sales. Searching is easy and quick. Sort by price if you want (my favorite) and by category. Never had trouble with billing and logins are always fault free.
I had a terrible experience with Worthpoint. Their "free" trial consists of 7 clicks. Beyond that, you're charged ($19.99 a month in my case). I was charged for my first month on 1/31 and cancelled 2/28 but was still charged for the second month. Apparently, the policy says "two-days" prior to billing. After I cancelled, even though I had already been charged, I was blocked from using the site. I contacted their customer service department immediately and they have refused to refund my money or even give me another month to use their product. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. Terrible customer service
