I ordered 16 roll of paper ,they sent 13 then when l complained,they asked do l need 3 rolls still ,the building didn’t reduce over night ,it took a week to send missing rolls by which time decorators had finished and gone to next job,pathetic customer service,will never use this company again.

The wallpaper was delivered within a couple of hours after I left the previous review. To clarify, the issue wasn’t with World of Wallpaper as suspected, it’s was sitting in a FedEx warehouse about 30 miles away for almost two weeks. As expected, the wallpaper is beautiful and WofW rep addressed my issue.

I decided to use world of wallpaper for the first time, despite their negative reviews. I needed some wallpaper sent to me for the next day as my mum was coming to wallpaper my daughters’ bedroom for us. She had travelled up from Cornwall to do so. We were all very excited. You can imagine my disappointment when I received the package at 3.45pm (the day before we were due to start the work) to discover that someone at world of wallpaper had packed the incorrect colour of wallpaper. I called customer services immediately, and spent 30 minutes trying to explain my situation, garner some empathy and understanding and problem solve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible as I knew time was of the essence. I was met with a genuine reluctance to help - told that the warehouse was probably shut. When I queried what time it would close I was told between 4pm and 4.30pm. I called at 4pm. If it were me, I would have taken my details and called the warehouse immediately and ask them to pick the correct items and get them sent to me via an express courier. I was told that this wasn’t possible, and that I had to send an email showing my incorrect wallpaper before we could move further. I was told that the items could be sent to arrive on Thursday or I could have a refund. Neither of those solutions helped my predicament as I only had the Wednesday day time to get the wallpaper up. So receiving it the day after I needed it wasn’t an option. In the same sense, sending it back and receiving a refund didn’t help me either. The two solutions felt very obtuse, and lacked any real care. It felt very ‘computer says no’ There is always a fair solution to these types of issues. As I was left with no choice other than to use the wallpaper I didn’t want (due to having 3 small children, no time, and my mum driving up 6 hours to specifically help decorate the room) I put the ball in world of wallpapers court and asked them to offer me a fair discount on the unwanted wallpaper that I was effectively forced to use. Their solution… a 10% discount, plus 10% off a future discount. Insulting in my opinion. After some back and forth and me having to chase a couple of times, I managed to get £20 back. Still not acceptable in my opinion, but I knew it was all that they would agree to. Me having to bear the brunt for one of their employees careless mistakes is not cool. Especially when a company of this size can account for wastage and loss. But it got to the point where I didn’t want to have to try and fight my corner anymore. It wasn’t worth the emotional hassle, and I knew that I was getting nowhere with the lacking customer service team. So, overall, very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend you shop here if you would like to receive the actual items you require, in a time frame that you need.

Ordering online was straight forward like most businesses offer. But trying to order more wallpaper of the same batch and having to deal with customer services direct was not as easy and a pleasant experience. After sending emails and telephoning them direct for an answer about a question, customer services tried to justify by saying they had sent me an email with the answer to a question after I sent feedback about the service. That email she said was sent, I never actually received, however I did receive all the other correspondence from them! So a little bit of integrity and holding a hand up, to say, I made a mistake, would have been the best approach instead I believe they were not being truthful. Still waiting for my wallpaper to be with the courier, I ordered Friday before lunch, got sn email to say, order been shipped and it is now Monday after 5.30pm and according to the tracking details, the courier have still have not got my wallpaper! So it’s either the courier service they are using that’s the problem or the company, that have communication issues and have not dispatched the items.
Bad sample shipment to USA. I received the sample on friday oct 28 in a very bad condition. I emailed them the pictures but had no response. Hoping they can resend sample due to: -plastic envelope is not sturdy so the wallpaper sample is all wrinkly. -plastic envelope is ripped very bad and causing rips and holes on the sample. Please put the sample in between carton or cardboard to withstand international shipping. Hard to trust them with shipping rolls of wallpaper internationally because of this.
Sample delivery quick. Buying process easy. Had some issues with delivery but the correspondence from world of wallpaper specifically Dani was very appreciated. Great service thank you.
