First time i have used an online auction for whisky. It was a good experience The bidding was easy and the site is also easy to use. Not keen on the extra time given if you bid within the last 3 mins but i guess thats how it works. Would highly recommend using the site.
The items I purchased were as described and pictured, they arrived in a timely manner and were very well packaged, I suspect that if the delivery driver crashed off a bridge, my package would have been the sole survivor. Naina was very helpful when I emailed hoping to get my delivery in time for the weekend, fast response and did not disappoint.

I've used Whisky Auction a few times now. The website works really well, and the auctioning system is very clear and easy to use. Clear fee breakdown at the end. What's most impressive is that they consistently ship orders very quickly (within a day or so of the auction ending), and lots are always very well packaged in recycled materials, and in immaculate condition (as per description, as some lots do have some wear and tear declared). Highly recommended.

As the auction ended and a last minute bid was made the auction was extended past the closure time. I feel that this is unfair and designed to increase the price. For that reason I will not be bidding again on this site. Addition, the three minute extension period is sharp practice and takes the edge of competitive bidding.

I have used Whisky Auction twice and have found the company excellent in every way, including advice and confirmation of both receipt of bottles and confirmation of auction dates plus an overview of the bidding progress. This was followed by the details of the final sales amount and payment confirmation. Finally, a thanks to the helpful assistance by the sales team when calling over the phone for further advice.
An interesting and responsive provider of whiskies at auction. Their delivery service and price is very good. The website listing is still a bit strange and searching is more clunky that at least two others I use.
