When I spoke to Robert Charlton, he explained everything to me clearly, made me understand how an umbrella company works and what are benefits, I will receive. He is very knowledgeable; he has good listening skills; he can build rapport with anyone and can convince anyone. I have received full information from him and very happy with the service today. I was confused about holiday pay, which has been clarified as well. He is a brilliant Business Development staff this company has, I have to admit. He is a star.
This Umbrella company is the absolute worst. I would avoid like the plague. You will spend every week chasing payments, you will spend every other week trying to opt out of pensions and holiday deductions. There portal doesn't work for wage slips . There customer service appalling. If this is your only option i still wouldn't use them. There positive reviews on here are there own staff tod drum business

From: Akin Adeyemo I am surprised that anyone can give a star more than one for this company. This should be a zero star umbrella company. its horrible beyond what the word of mouth can express. They will not pay you in time and when you ask for your money they will tell you the agency has not paid them even when the agency has paid them more than 2 weeks ago. Send them an email, it will take ages to respond. This is a no go area for anyone that deserves his payment. I can never recommend them to anyone.

As a first time contract worker, coming from years of perm employment, Umbrella has been a great support with their guidance, and all the operational details. I have also received very close and kind support from Lauren from day one, she has been kind and prompt to answer all my questions, in particular guiding me in anything that I was not familiar. She has made my transition into contract much easier to manage.
After choosing to go with this company I quickly realised I made a bad choice. When my payment to me for my work that I completed was made they got the dates incorrect on p45 so the HMRC charged me more tax. Umbrella on a second attempt also got it wrong after me explaining what needed to be done a second and 3rd time. I have lost money because of these people unfortunately. Also they hardly pick up the phones when you ring. Terrible company, avoid and go with somebody else.

He took time to understand what i needed, explained the process and calculations very clearly. He was always friendly, professional and went the extra mile to make things as smooth as possible and providing peace of mind. Thank you!
Worst experience with an umbrella company to date. I would avoid them at all costs. Staff are rude, senior managers are even worse. If you have no choice but to use an umbrella, certainly do not use them I’m currently planning on tacking legal action against them based on on not being paid for 8 weeks.
I have been impressed by their service. In 18 months I have been very well looked after. They have always replied promptly to my queries, always been super helpful and professional. It is probably the best umbrella company I have used so far. I would definetly recommend them to anyone.
On every occasion I phoned Robert for any query with my pay he was very professional and took the time to sort things out however trivial. A credit to umbrella.co.uk.
My sincere advice to anyone who would like to go with Umbrella. Please do it yourself, you dont need to go with them. I was asked for feedback which I did in my very first month but things went downhill right away.. My issue - UMBRELLA withholding my July salary illegally now, my employer and everyone I went to are gobsmacked that any company can do that. What I did - Spoke to an endless number of customer service, did escalate it to the key account manager. I was repeatedly told they have paid me or payment has been released or it will be created to my account by 6.30 pm. I haven't seen a dime of my salary.. They have no Manager to look into your issue, their manager gave me her number to call but NEVER once answered. My mortgage/child care payment fell through because my account wasn't credited with my salary and now I have incurred a late fee, which I am now having to pay from my savings. I am going to different forms now to make people aware of how they can scam you and also filing a complaint with the government body. PLEASE IGNORE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST
One of the worst Umbrella company I have dealt with. Got my payment all incorrect in the first place and charged high margin on my first payment which I had to point out for rectification. Also did not fulfill their promise of 2 weeks umbrella margin discount as I came via referral. All they said was that they are sorry and if I choose to stay then they will honour the 2 weeks margin free. Disappointed with the service and false promotion offer. Not recommended at all. Peter, I haven't fabricated my experience nor added any extra to it. What I felt with the service was shared in the review. What infuriated me is that I got an email from CS stating the below."We are happy to honor the two weeks free as it should be, if you are happy to cancel your P45 request and staying with". This to me is way out of line as my 2 weeks margin played a vital part in me choosing umbrella.co.uk and someone telling me if I stay then I will get the offer is not morally correct. I have recommended my colleagues to join umbrella.co.uk and I feel that i have not made the correct decision. Also, Peter just to let you know the communication from your Customer Service is not impressive. I do admit that one of the support personnel was very helpful once she understood what went wrong. I was hoping that Umbrella.co.uk would offer me my 2 weeks margin as vouchers but that did not happen.
I worked very closely with Laura Wright in connection with setting up my account for accessing my payslips and other documents. Laura has been amazingly prompt and professional in her response. I am impressed with her swift response in sending across my payslips which I could not access. Her written communication is very positive and makes me feel good. I wish her well Regards Rajkumar Bidla
