I too will NEVER shop where Tyro is being used. My purchase was $9.50 and my statement was $11.60. I NEVER use credit, it's straight out of my account so why am I being charged by this company. There is no lead time at all. Good to see you're going down the Netflix slide regards share price dropping. The first thing I do now is check store EFTPOS terminals!
Tyro is unreliable and untrusted EFTPOS merchant provider. Tyro kept my business money for over 5 weeks without communication to me. When escalating the issue, they don't give solution. Unstead, they forced me to change the settlement bank account and said that there is no other way around, and otherwise, they don't give my money back. The bank accounts are the same for over 3 years and there is no issues with other transfer. This is a kind of money fraud. Please avoid Tyro service.
Hopeless. Incorrect advice about their own processes meant lengthy disruption for my business. Another issue with fees (due to their incorrect advice) I have been following up for months.
Customer service was rubbish They have been holding our money for over 3 weeks (major issues) said they will sort it out and transfer the money but nothing happens. You have to keep chasing them. Received the worst customer service. Staff have absolutely no idea what they doing. Will definitely take legal action if they still can't solve the issue Do not recommend using this company
One star because I can't give a zero. Tyro is not up front with their charges. Don't be fooled they mine their customers who are too busy doing what they do to notice the exorbitant undisclosed extra fees they are being charged. They will not put anything in writing when you query and they are good at spin. Do Not Trust !
Terrible service Very Expensive And trying to cancel is such a difficult process You have to request cancelation then are told a postage satchel will be sent to you to send the item back. Weeks later that still hadn’t arrived so you are still being billed for their expensive service you don’t want. Another email to then to be advised they will request another satchel will be sent. And then when they process your cancellation sent from your email they claim that it is not valid as the signature was signed differently from the one you used to open the account. And they remind you billing is continuing until you can sign it exactly the same and try navigate the voice prompt system of their courier company where I had just as much trouble organizing as Tyro themselves did getting the satchel sent after weeks.
These Tyro eftpos machines are the only machines that charge you 1% when you tap and go. I WILL NO LONGER SHOP ANYWHERE THAT has these machines.
Waiting for change of ownership of tyro terminal, called again today and asked why I was not contacted , and Guess what answer was "I don't know what to do", wont give me his real name or an employee id to follow up his response. He gave me his name as Charlie time 10:28 AM ACST time of call date is 24/09/2021. Ridiculous customer service. Moving over to Commonwealth Bank.
TYRO replied saying email them. We did. We called. They still blame us. Anyone wanting copies of their email response s and tyro admissions of terminals faults let us know here. Pidclinics @gmail. Com We are a developer with Tyro integration and they knew of issues in January 2021 affecting customers. It required the programming terminals to be replaced but they did not tell us. They told our clients that it was OUR FAULT. When we screamed about this truly disgraceful behaviour they said TERMINATED.. actually we are more than pleased because they wasted tens of thousands of our money time resources and humiliation We recommend you go to HICAPS and we are developers
Sold business , new person wanted take over efpos machine believing that would be a simple option WELL, not the case, wrong paperwork sent first,phone calls not returned,emails not returned. Filled in all the carbage paperwork then nothing. sold business 1 / 7 /21.. 13 days later still receiving efpos payments from new owners busniess,new owner not receiving income. If you carn't do the simple task, how do you complete kindergarten task!! grow up tyro
I had a time consuming and frustrating experience with this bank, explore other options before you waste your time with them.
Does not suit my needs. Asked for multi-merchant eftpos terminal, all monies go into one terminal, don't know if it has been sorted as yet. Caused great deal of inconvenience and problem in determining who the money belongs to, wasted a lot of my time. Not good. Money paid in on Saturday only arrives on Wednesday, surely, it earns Tyro interest in the meantime. Not good. Charges are high, in comparison to others, not good. Moved to another eftpos, the money arrives on the same day. So, it is goodbye Tyro, I am returning the machine.
I've been with Tyro almost since its inception. In that time, the eftpos operation has been seamless, other than more recent problems which have affected some Tyro customers. A major benefit of Tyro's operation for me is their lending policy - zero paperwork, and a loan based on value of transactions through the terminal. This approach saves so much time and stress compared with the big banks.
had 2 transactions on my bank that i could not verify the merchant was listed as tyro rang tyro they said contact merchant i replied that is not possible as the merchant is tyro that is why i contacted you send proof they said so i sent details only to get a reply stating they could not provide details of merchant because that would be a breach of privacy i replied stating i only want the name of the business not private details you contact merchant and tell them to contact me the reply was we cant provide details contact your bank not good enough when they play the privacy card because i don't think they know themselves who the merchant is will contact bank and put lodge dispute really bad experience
Upgraded to 3 from 1 stars when tyro actioned request- when it works it's great, but get a back up for when things go wrong....past reviewLike nearly 30% of other customers we were also significantly impacted by January's outages. We have barely recovered, now locked out of our account via the app, we have been unable to pay creditors for several weeks. Most concerning is our inability to get through to Tyro or get a real response let alone have some action rectifying our issues. Be warned the lacking customer service response times (nb frontline staff themselves to a good job under circumstances ) and technical support- has potential to break small businesses- big 4 might be a safer bet
I have tried to phone them on 3 occasions and been on hold for over an hour each time. Trying to follow up a payment taken from a customer in December but not deposited into our bank. Have had no follow up since then, if they were missing $90 from me, no doubt they would be following it up. This is the first time i have had this problem with Tyro. I am appalled. So this time i pressed the new customer button - answered in one ring by a lovely girl.. disgusting.. don't take new customers if you cannot assist you current customers. I am super unhappy. Have now finally been put through to my case manager who i feel sorry for. Terrible company
Tyro terminal stopped working, have been on hold for over 2 hrs and waiting... Have emailed and requested call back on earlier failed support call. Still nothing... Finally got a support technician 2hrs 15 min on hold, before we could troubleshoot the failed terminal the line was cut - I emailed the technician straight-back with my direct number and so far no call. Loss in business $8000+ Express delivery for replacement not available, spare terminals not available at a lower monthly rental, and known error with failed terminal company should have sent new terminal out to customers to avoid this - considering loss of business proceedings. Already getting quotes to change services. Tyro was incredible when we first enrolled, but have gone down hill - for healthcare sector would not recommend. Will wait to see response from multiple support requests, and update review accordingly.
Honestly made my business run so much smoother. they offer a far better price and also amazinggg customer service! I changed over from Commonwealth and regret why I haven't changed over to TYRO earlier.
I sold my business I haven't tyro post machine since December 2020!!! I sent them business closer Form 3 times. They are still charging me. Also they couldn't refund I call them, 24 Times.. Still same!!! I spoke with my lawyer I going to court.....this company make me sick
