After the honeymoon phase with therapy notes....the claim process is beautiful...but then you get paid. Sigh. I am an out-of-network provider, so I cannot speak for those in the network with insurance companies. My experience has been an exhausting one. Secondary insurer payments will not mark accounts as paid when Medicare is the primary; causing tedious, redundant, and time wasted constantly correcting numbers, write-offs, and entering patient copays. It's been 5 months and Therapy Notes has cost me paying more overtime to billers than the fee itself. I am looking for software with much more automation. I would advise you to wait 3-4 months to leave a review...the honeymoon phase is indeed wonderful; however, I found the basic accounting and billing functions inadequate and limited at best.

Phone support is AWESOME. I've made several calls and each person has been knowledgable and patient. I had heard good things about Simple Practice and spent several weeks trying to configure it for my private practice but gave up. I had TherapyNotes up and running in about 2 days.

While in my first week of TherapyNotes free trial, I contacted customer support for help loading multiple diagnoses for a client. The rep. was both encouraging and very patient with my lack of computer skills. Our call was interrupted by a Wi Fi glitch and dropped. Meanwhile, I was successfully able to load the multiple codes. Then was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the rep. in order to complete our consultation and summarize the information we had covered in an email to me.

I always find the customer service people really helpful! I almost never have to call them, since I never have glitches with the software, but I called because I was locked out today. Gray was patient and helped solve the problem.

My support experience was excellent! I called customer support for help with a very unique problem and the representative I spoke with quickly understood the issue and developed and walked me through implementing a solution that addressed everything I needed - I learned a lot I didn't know about the platform from that conversation too. Then, she sent a follow up email reviewing everything we'd discussed, plus more information that answered questions I didn't even know I had yet. I have always had a wonderful experience when I have called for help and this was no different - as always, Therapy Notes customer support went above and beyond.
