I purchased an iPhone 11 Pro which was advertised as an Australian model yet I recently found out that it is a North American model. So it has always had poor reception and, with the closure of 3G, reception and emergency calling will be even worse. Do not believe their advertising that all their phones are "Genuine Australian sourced" or "Locally sourced". They admitted to me in an email that "We source devices from around the world". They refuse to swap my phone for an Australian model. Update: After 8 weeks of negotiation Mobile Guru agreed to replace my phone with an Australian model. The phone they sent is in excellent condition. I think they will now be more careful to supply Australian models to Australian customers. My trust in Mobile Guru has been restored.
