I placed an order in September 2023. I never recieved my items after 16 weeks therefore requested a refund. It's now April 2024 and still awaiting for a refund of £509.15. There is no telephone number and so only rely on a reply via email. Unsure where to turn. Would not recommend ordering from this company
Waited 4 months for delivery and still no bed! Was told to wait another 4 months or offered refund, now I have waited 1 month for my money back! I think this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, my child has been left without a bed 5 months. I have told them I need my money to buy another! Asked fir something temp. They have done nothing. I am deaf and can't call them. And emails don't always get responce. Still no money or a bed. Update another month has passed and still no bed or refund from this company so its 5 months now. They ignore my emails.last email from them stated my refund would be 10 working days 1 month ago. And as this company responded here! I have emailed many time with no response! What a big joke of a company. Think a layer needs involved now!

I ordered a childrens bed with pop up trundle. I received the bed and mattress but I have been waiting for now 10 months for the trundle bed to be delivered. The customer service is appalling. You can only speak via email, and the responses are vague and unhelpful. They are still advertising the product with an 8-10 week delivery time on their website, so do not believe this. It is a shame because the bed we received was of decent quality - but we only bought this bed due to the trundle bed which we haven't received.
Have waited 2 years for rest of my order, gotvthe desk no sign of drawers or bedside cabinet! Asked for refund still waiting...asked again...Still waiting. Have forwarded all emails to BBC.

Absolute crooks! I placed an order, they kept giving different excuses for the constant delays, they eventually cancelled my order and a year later I still haven't received my refund! They kept telling me to contact Klarna as that is where they refunded my money when I made payment directly to them with a debit card. There are no contact details for their finance team, customer service say they cant locate your account despite providing details of the payment. Despite whatever response they make to this comment, no one from customer care will contact me and they will make zero effort to return my funds, how this company is allowed to trade is beyond me! THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update - this is the ridiculous response you get, the customer service do nothing and tell you to contact your bank to persue a refund. ****************** We are sorry to hear you still have not received your refund. We at the customer services department only deal with general queries related to your order, we unfortunately do not handle anything to do with the finances related to orders. We advise you to speak to your payment provider and it may be that you have to raise a refund claim. Our external account team manages our refunds, payments and finances and they work alongside all the major payment providers. They manage all refund queries once flagged by the payment provider you used to complete your transaction. ********************
Great product and delivered faster than expected.
I placed an order in April 2023 for 7 items at over a thousand pounds total. A year later, The Children's Furniture Company has been able to deliver only one of them while keeping my money. It started when three months after ordering I did not receive as much as a delivery date. I emailed them and was told that they're having delays from their supplier, and that it will arrive in the next delivery in another 3 months. I waited patiently, but when I heard nothing again the same story repeated. During this half year, the only communication I ever received was in response to my inquiries, and each time I was promised again that if I just waited a few more weeks I'd eventually receive my order. Finally, in January 2024 and 6 months past the original estimated delivery date, I'd had enough and requested a refund. They of course agreed to process it immediately, except a month later there was nothing in my account. When asked, they said they only just processed the refund a couple of days earlier and that I can expect it by the end of the week. It's now a week later, and as you can probably guess, they still have my money. I would not advise ordering from this business. Order fulfilment is one thing, but an inability to issue refunds is usually a sign of a collapsing business.
AVOID! I placed an order last July 2023 with a 10-12 week lead time. I had to chase after this period only to be told it will be another 10-12 weeks. At the start of 2024 I requested a refund and despite going back and forth via email which is their only point of contact I still haven't received my money back. These guys are a joke. They must be running a form of Ponzi scheme whereby new orders provide funds to fulfil old orders as there is no other explanation for not receiving a refund within 8 weeks in the digital age. EDIT: It's a week since the company's response below and naturally I haven't heard anything. This is because the company my funds were sent to called in the administrators a month after my order was placed. terrible customer service no phone number and emails not answered too often, cancelled ordered after several weeks delay with no info, now waiting 6 weeks and no refund still, now applying for a CCJ to obtain money, beware potentially going insolvent
They cancelled our order after saying delayed and further delayed but never returned the money and this was a year ago now. Any advice on how to get our money refunded as their customer service team shut us down every time by email?

Lovely furniture when it arrived but took a long time. Not easy to contact the customer service team, all thought all of my questions and queries were answers eventually via email. When furniture did arrive too a further 6 weeks for correct handles to come. Basically if you want to use this company and like the furniture allow lots of time for delivery's.
Do not buy from this company My order had an 8-10 week delivery and, despite chasing this multiple times, I was not given any updates until this time expired. Once it was overdue, I was finally told that there would be a further 8-10 week delay. This understandably led to me cancelling my order, as almost every competitor holds stock for immediately delivery. In law, companies have a defined period in which to return money when a contract is cancelled. The Children's Furniture Company willfully breached that law and held on to the cash for as long as they possibly could, with absolutely no compensation. Under no circumstances should anyone do business with this company - at best, they have appalling business practices, at worst it is simply a scam.
I bought 2 kids beds from this company and got them delivered and they are good quality. The problems come when things go wrong. I ordered 2 trundle beds in January 2023 and they still haven't been delivered. I was paid £70 in compensation to keep my order in the course of last year, but having lost patience as they don't have a clue how long it will be until these are delivered, they won't even offer me the correct refund amount, refuse to speak to me on the phone (says it all) and to top it off, they're still selling these on their website when they know they can't deliver them! DISGUSTING COMPANY my daughter ordered a wahsen chair for her desk that she PAID FOR out her own Christmas money SHE IS 14 and in its place you sent a necklace!!!!! Third Delay (January 19, 2024): Ongoing delays reported by the shipping company due to prioritization of larger corporations in international ports. No specific arrival date mentioned. Latest Update (January 19, 2024): Single bed in the UK but not released from port. Pop-up trundle still delayed being released from the factory. We bought a bed for our son that was on an 8-10 week delivery time. After 11 weeks I emailed for a delivery date, only to be told it would be a further 12 weeks. Poor management and notification settings. Now my son dosent have a bed for his birthday.
