Fibre product mostly works well but whenever you have a problem it takes an age to get resolved. I've had to contact support three times in as many months, and it was like pulling teeth every time. I've now been without fibre for three days, leaving me scrambling for alternative options. I have a case number but have not heard anything from them since. The cancellation e-mail is sitting in my drafts ready to be sent as soon as I contact a new provider.
Terrible service. When I insisted to speak to technical support the operator operator put the phone down. Their Whatsapp line is a joke. Only automated responses with zero follow up.
This has to be the worst internet service provider in the whole world. Shocking service , no service, rude staff. Never go with them. Check google reviews and Hellopeter too. Really bad.
Since I cancel my contract in 2020, we couldn't track the routers. For that reason to date 2023, supersonic still debit my account. I request the statement so to know how much is the amount paid, nothing. I got another debit of 1000 on June 2023. I've been in an out of their office in Constantia kloof, now in Fairlands still no help. I don't know what to do now, is bad. Anyone who can help kindly contact me on 0842331572.
Possibly the worst service provider of any service ever. don't even think about getting your self a mtn contract or supersonic. trust you will regret it
Supersonic is hands down the worst ISP. A position they probably only share with Telkom. For the record, I've only used them because I've had no other choice. Issues include: 1. Incorrect billing- in one year I've had 2 instances where Supersonic fails to debit my account and then does not inform me via phone or writing that my account is overdue due to their failure to debit me and then threaten you months later without any warning. 2. Constant line speed issues. - if you like paying for a 100Mbps line but to recieved a 10Mbps speeds this is the place to go. 3. Useless customer support and WhatsApp chatbot - every attempt to speak to actually people gets diverted to a chatbot that is so useless and frustrating to use that is borders on insanity. The chatbot doesn't reply to you for several hours but ends the chat seconds after waiting for you to reply. The people in accounts just apologize but doesn't ever fix any account issues. 4. Cut connections- I've had 2 occasions where fibre installers that install lines to neighbouring properties break my line in the DB box in the street yet supersonic wants me to pay for the reconnection despite not causing the damage or having access to their db boxes. In summary, if you can avoid this company, do it.
I struggled with cancelling of one line and application for a new line at Supersonic. I was extremely unhappy and then I got hold of Annari Bonthuys, one of the Team Leaders. She turned my experience around and my problems were sorted immediately. The customer service line and whatsapp line need to up their game, and Supersonic needs more people like Annari.
Worst provider in history. Asked for line to be terminated took them 1 month to phone me back and another month to cancel amd 10 days to get the line cleared for new provider.

Absolutely no technical service, pointless WhatsApp automated number and no concern whatsoever for client service.

I had excellent service from Annari Bonthuys of Supersonic. Everything I asked and wanted was dealt with excellent service and professionalism and speed.
If there was a minus 1 option I would choose it. No air fibre now for 4 days. They just give excuses and say that they need MTN to respond. I would no longer recommend Supersonic. Absolutely pathetic customer service!

Applying 1 star only because the scale doesn't have -5. I have a service ticket registered 3 and a half months ago - no activity, no resolution - nothing. Endless references to some problems on MTN side; promises to escalate and do something - NOTHING, nothing happens. No replies to emails from Narendra Naidoo, useless technicians - I don't know what else to mention. Update: After my review on Hellopeter 6 weeks ago I received one e-mail from Narendra Naidoo, where he proposed some possible solution and I replied to it with confirmation to go the route. Now I can tell - 6 weeks with no actions or communication again.
I paid R200 on my account online, i logged in on my account and used the 'Pay no' tab the money through on my bank account but when i went back to the home button it was still showing that i owned. I tried several times to resolve this with customer service i spoke to numerous consultants and none of them helped me. They requested proof of payment but they know that the bank can't send proof of payment when it's an online transaction. Today i paid R1641 on my account and the same is happening. I so pissed off right. I received a message from supersonic stating that 'there's payment made on my account' i phoned in to reconnect my wifi but they're asking for proof of payment
Initially I had a bad start with Supersonic with connecting to the internet, this where I was in contact with Edith (Supervisor) and it happens that she discharges her Superior, excellent and efficient way of dealing with my query, Finaly I am happy Client.
All I needed was for Supersonic to lodge a complaint with Clear Access to come and take a look at our fibre box. Nothing major and yet it is still not resolved.
