I have been a supersonic client for over 3 years. Have had issues in the past with connectivity on my line where I had to log an ICASA complaint before they actually did something to fix it. I had a year of no issues and decided to upgrade my line to a 200/40 line which took a week to do (this was upgraded on Tuesday) after the upgrade I have had connectivity and stability issues on the line. And unable to get speeds over 2mbps. I called this morning and spoke to a gentleman who opened a ticket said I would have feedback by 11:00. I work from home and require my wifi for that and have not been able to work because of this. I called back a few minutes ago to get feedback and NOTHING has been done as yet. SO I have now given the ultimatum that this be rectified by 15:00 or I will be logging a new ICASA complaint as I am not going to be given a run around again for service that I pay for.
deserves a ZERO rating! Had this wifi for less than a month and everyday at night it disconnects and i have to call them literally everyday of which i am first put on hold for 20minutes before anyone can answer! i cant do anything that i took the wifi for in the very first place. Who has money and time to call a service provider everyday because of the same issue ?? i am sick and tired of this pathetic service and yet i pay for it...i need this resolve as a matter of urgency else i am cancelling and telling people never to touch Supersonic ever again...too stressful as if i need more stress.... urgently fix or i walk with many with me!
These people will steal your money even after cancelling services. Do not trust them. I was just debitted on the 1st of April for R1300 on my account after having no service since february 28th. I had requested on the 25th of February to have my line relocated to a new premesis. I had absolutely no response from Supersonic even after trying to call the call centre multiple times and logging tickets online. I then recieve a call almost 3 weeks later after moving premises to assist me with relocating my line ( do people think we can wait around without internet for 3 weeks?) I even advised the agent i had to get another deal because i had zero support from your company. And i advised him my location to collect the router from. I then get debited R1378 this month because your company is incompetent to assist with migrating my line in time? This is the most daylight robbery i have ever witnessed. My packaged only costed R479pm and i have now had 3 months worth of payments taken from my account!

If i could choose 0 stars, I would. The installation is faulty. The customers service agents are horrendously incompetent and offer no help at all. A few months ago, they sent out a member to fix a wire, but due to their faulty work, it broke again recently and now our wifi is off and they still expect me to pay for a service I am unable to use which is idiotic. I called in to cancel and i was directed to do so on their website, as if they cannot do it telephonicly. The cancelation date is in a whole new month and the debit will still be going off my account. Daylight robbery if you ask me. Their staff is completely unprofessional. The person they sent looked like he simply did not want to help. I am appalled.
Rubbish. 4 years of rubbish speed. Promised 20mbs but we barely receive 1mbs.4 years of this. Then they gaslight me telling us that mtn has an issue in the area with lte, and yet their non fixed lte is hitting 30mbs. They have an issue for four years and haven't fixed it. What an embarresing excuse my god. They're a bunch of liars, get Fibre rather than deal with this bullsh!t
Due to bad service we notified Supersonic of cancellation of service on the 27 February 2025. We requested the date that the service will be terminated by them to supply to our new service provider. Supersonic has not responded yet. With all these bad reviews it surprises me that they are still allowed to have a business licence.
Supersonic is a SCAM. I payed R2000 last week and they suspended my account the very same day i paid it...now the activation is the problem since last week. I've been trying call them on all the numbers they have... No luck. if you install it takes you some few minutes but when there's a problem you can't reach Supersonic easily. South Africa try some other service providers, with Supersonic you will SUFFER... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO NETWORK. SCAM SCAM SCAM People before you go for SUPERSONIC FIBRE look into facebook page of SUPERSONIC FIBRE COMPLAINTS...you will know what I'm taking about... SCAM
Don't do business with them. Have been trying to speak to someone for 2 weeks now. WhatsApp not working. Call centre cuts off call after more than 20 minutes hold. And messenger is even more useless.
What a waste , I was called by an MTN agent to assist in getting the fiber on the 9th of January which was a package for R559pm I don't know how or where they got the R1299pm package however that's what I was given, I have called , emailed lodged multiple tickets even made contact with MTN and still no one can get the call recording of the correct package I ordered this is the worst experience ever as I write this I've been on hold for 30 minutes and I'm not hanging up until I get the consultant next thing they will try to hand me over to the lawyers just because I refuse to pay for something I did not ask I wonder why is this company still operating this is day light robery and we as their customers are never gonna be protected I am canceling my subscription
If I could rate Supersonic a 0 star, I would. Their level of incompetence is astonishing. They have no idea what they’re doing, routinely gaslight customers with valid concerns, close support tickets without resolving issues, and ignore all customer communications via telephone, email, and their ticketing system. I have used several ISPs here in South Africa, and nothing compares to the stress and inconvenience Supersonic has caused me. Their internal mishandling of customer information has even led to accounts being sent to collections unlawfully. I find it unbelievable that a company with over 400 one-star reviews is allowed to operate without any apparent consequence. This is, without doubt, the worst and most inconvenient ISP I have ever encountered. Their customer service is practically nonexistent. The billing department arbitrarily charges incorrect amounts—even unauthorized ones—and never takes accountability. When you call, you’re left on hold for minutes or even hours with no resolution in sight. Management fails to escalate issues when requested, and when they do respond after a long delay, it is with generic, unhelpful answers that never address the concerns of paying customers. In summary, Supersonic’s overall performance and service delivery are utterly unacceptable.
Worst service ever. I pay for a 100 Mbps upload and download line but it acceptable for them to get average 20 to 40 Mbps. Tried laying a complaint and was on hold for 47 minutes with no answer. I decided to move to another isp and terminated via the portal. The termination department contracted me once and sent a sms that they could not reach me and I need to request a call back via Whatsapp. Sent request but it does not get answered and after a while gets closed.

This Co is a joke it has no proper communication or what soever, the internet just goes off anytime it's wants when I contact support on what's up, what's up is under maintenance soon as it runs out of data I'm canceling it I'm tired of reseting and unplugging it does not work.
Super sonic customer care call center nobody answer your call I had to wait for 50 munits holding on and listen to the computer answer machine
Absolutely useless, we have no internet fibre connection since December. The refuse to send out a technician. All they do is ask you to unplug and reset the router which doe's nothing. Those technicians avoid work at every chance. So I cancelled the account today.
Bought a data package via Supersonic. Router needs to be reset continuously despite good signal. Not supported after 20h00. Operators cannot fix the problem other than through a re-set. They are rude and simply cut you off after you have held for an excess of 30 min.
Absolutely no communication. Placed order and payment before Christmas 2024. No router delivered and after countless attempts to contact them, still answer. Tried Facebook messenger, Twitter, phone calls and emails. Nothing. Trying to get out of this contract and get my refund. Also nothing happening when you log in to their website.
When deciding to get Supersonic Fibre I thought maybe the one star reviews were just because of support, and not because of the internet, but I was so wrong. The fibre ran great for the first month or two, then the fibre just got worse from there. Download speeds are horrible. We were promised that multiple people can download things at once and the speed wouldn't be impacted. False. We were also promised that if many people were using the network it wouldn't go slow. Also false. I play an online game on my computer, then try to download something at the same time and the speed is horrible. Apart from that, when playing games (if you plan on using this for gaming) the loading speeds are pretty good, yet you will disconnect often. I can't run games for more than half an hour sometimes, though at night the problem seems to be fixed. Mainly, the game I'm talking about is Roblox, a game that requires a constant connection to the internet. Horrible Fibre and fake promises. I've been dealing with this for months.
I have been making use of Supersonic LTE since 2022. We have recently looked at upgrading. I logged a ticket on my profile. I received no response for 2 days. I tried calling their call centre numbers and waited a total of 20 mins over 3 calls without getting through to someone. I still haven't received any feedback. Our internet is also currently not working- we thought we ran out of data but we still have left. I then decided to cancel my account due to lack of communication and bad service, however, I have still not received any confirmation from them. Once again, I cannot get hold of anyone at Supersonic, that can assist me and I WILL NOT pay for a service I am unable to make use of.
