I regret buying supersonic router i did everything online and no one got back to me , What they did is that they just gave me a router which is not registered. I've been trying to call them , sending them emails and WhatsApp but no one got back to me . They just deducted my money for nothing . I ran away from RAIN thinking that ill get a better thing but now I'm stuck with the router that was not even registered .
Worst service i ever experienced. Cant get hold of anyone. Not sure if there is even people employed. For weeks on end no responds to emails or answers a phone call?
I want to cancel my contract with them due to poor service, bit they don't even respond to my request to cancel
All that is needed from a service provider is the actual service. Continuous slow connection speeds and no resolve IF they answer the phone to rectify the connection speed. Time to move and spend money with a Internet provider that does care.
The Huntsman Lifestyle Centre Balwin Properties had a fibre outage yesterday which was restored yesterday afternoon. I called Supersonic and they were unable to assist, the connection is still red, I am unable to connect. The agents can't help, there is no email to send complaint, their WhatsApp number is not working. I am working from home and this is Frustrating.
They are just like a bunch of criminals, they didn't supply me anything but deducted money for two months! When you speak with them they say we will get back to you! Thieves
I've been trying to get my Supersonic LTE device to work for ages, but it's been a wild goose chase! Their automated messages are like a bad joke – 'Your issue is resolved!' No, it's not. 'Please try restarting your device!' Already did that... 12 times. Visiting the MTN store was like playing a game of 'Who's Responsible?' – Supersonic says it's MTN, MTN says it's Supersonic... meanwhile, I'm just trying to get online! If you enjoy frustration, confusion, and a healthy dose of hair-pulling, then Supersonic is the internet provider for you! But if you want actual human support and a working internet connection, keep looking. P.S. Supersonic, if you're reading this, please send help (and a functional internet connection)!
No customer support at all. It's been two weeks of trying to get through to Supersonic on whatsapp and call attempts unfortunately there's been no success whatsoever.
A new record for me…. Signed up for supersonic for exactly 13 days and cancelled my subscription this morning. I have never in my life had such pathetic service from anyone in my life , but i supposed thats what you get when you have monopolies in these estates. I must’ve spent nearly 5 hours on a phone this week having to be my own technician ( supersonic don’t have technicians but they have technical equipment???) trying to sort the issues out checking router , checking outside box, changing passwords, resetting and restarting and sending pictures with no result. I now have to pay for the month of September with no service. When asked why i need to pay i’m told it’s because we are now refusing the call centre help ( on the phone to them 3 times this week) … can you f*&king believe this s*+t!!!!. A serious word of warning.. DO NOT USE SUPERSONIC AS YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER.. you’ll be sorry, I promise you. They have no interest in you as a customer, but will happily take your money. Took out a RAIN month to month contract this morning and WOW!!!, fantastic service and was up and running within 2 hours.
They take an hour to answear calls, some call center agent guy is very rude. They dont have service. when you sent a text on whatsapp they can reply after 5 hours and no respond at all
Supersonic is unfortunately the worst service provider when it comes to internet connection services. The start that has been given is given because I didn't have an option to not put it. Over the last 7 days, No one has been able to assist , they all have no understanding of the product, they struggle to properly read their system, they are completely clueless. The call center takes longer than 30 min to answer the line. There is no proper customer support and should you have an issue, you're on your own. Their what's app line is close of non functioning. You log a query they keep quiet and never respond until after working hours
Last had contact with them in Feb 2022 when I cancelled my month to month contract, now in August 2024 they debit my account for almost R5k. I cannot get through to them on the phone and they don't answer emails. Luckily the bank reversed the debit order and blocked them, but what a hassle especially as you cannot contact them
It's been 2 days waiting for assistance got a invoice saying I didn't pay for my August bill I paid and hv proof but they didn't come back to me they just send me sms they will get back to me until nw I don't know what kind of service is this disgusting
Supersonic is the worst service provider. Been without fibre for days. 37minutes waiting for a call to customer care to be answered with no joy. Still no luck and still no internet. Better to stay away.
Worst wifi ever...always "connected without internet"!!! Poor customer service when reporting issues!! The worst!! Happens on a daily basis!!
If you do your due diligence in searching for an ISP whether you're moving, or looking to upgrade or you've just started up with fibre connection. DO NOT USE SUPERSONIC!!! Truthfully getting you set up is a breeze. Once you're there, good luck with getting assistance or even a word of support if you have any problems. I have been trying to contact Supersonic for a week via calls and whatsapp with absolutely no response. There's no email to directly chat to a consultant. On whatsapp the message you'll constantly receive is they are experiencing high call volume. On thier call service you won't get anywhere near a consultant or service pick up. FOR A WEEK?? I'm upset because within the 1st month of joining, the monthly subscriptions suddenly changed from just under R680 to close to R750 in the drop of a bolt. All I want is to downgrade my line as I don't need it to be so large. Now that I've seen the insane 91% of 1 star reviews I'm upset at myself for joining these guys. Stay away!
I have cancelled my subscription and they still take money off my account, they ignore me each time I contact them about it. I am very upset and they should compensate me for what they have taken. Also, they're always having outages so you can never get actual work done.
Avoid avoid avoid. This business should be shut down. Customer service is non-existent and they are thieves. Regulator needs to get involved here. I have approached the ombudsman. Billed incorrectly for months and can't get hold of them on any platform. Out of pocket over R1000 already.

I ordered a sim and they couldn’t help me configure then asked for a refund about a month ago and they haven’t refunded me
