THE WORST INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IN SOUTH AFRICA. This company is the worst, their consultants do not know how to solve issues when you call. All they ask is for you to switch off and on your devices then say they are escalating someone will call back and that someone never calls you. All they want to do is collect monies and not offer services. Absolute nightmare. Run for the hills!! DO NOT USE THEM!! I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM.
I was with Supersonic from April 2021 with LTE.I switched to Air Fibre in June 2022.I subscribed for the 100 Mbps. It was all good till the first quarter of 2024.It went downhill from there. Slow speeds on none at all for weeks. It's like a ghost company, they dont answer when you call or respond to emails. I cancelled on the 28th of November 2024 with the one month notice period being December, it was acknowledged via email and a call on the 19th of December. Astoundingly, they attempted to debit my account on the 8th of January. I stopped the payment. I emailed and called. No Response. The nightmare continues. Supersonic is owned by MTN.I also had a nasty experience with them about a decade ago. Do not use this company. RUN as fast as you can to their competitors.
I am deeply frustrated to learn that my neighbor, also a Supersonic customer, is paying significantly less than I am for faster internet speeds. While I have been paying R1099, my neighbor is paying under R800 for better service. We tested and confirmed this discrepancy. I have sent numerous emails dating back December 6th, 11, & 17th... I have also made phone calls, sent to the whatsapp number with absolutely no response. This blatant inconsistency in both customer care & in pricing raises serious concerns about your business practices. It feels not only unfair but potentially fraudulent, and I expect an immediate resolution.
Please don’t do yourself an injustice by using this company. I had a contract with them that I intended to fulfill, but they promised reliable connectivity while constantly leaving you without internet access. Their customer support is nonexistent; you will never reach them by phone or email. I paid a prorated fee along with my monthly fee on the 15th. When I canceled my service, I paid the cancellation fee in addition to my monthly fee, yet I was disconnected on the 1st of the following month. This meant I paid the full price for only half a month of service. I had previously been with MTN but switched to Supersonic, not realizing it is essentially MTN, only to experience even worse service.
I have been with Supersonic since the very beginning but I will not be making use of your services anymore . Horrible customer service! I can never get hold of them and when when I do they do not respond. The WORST ever!
Absolutely CRAP SERVICE.. Cannot get hold of technical support... Takes ages on the phone. Sends email to say ticket is closed , although they did nothing... Cannot connect to the 5g supersonic network. Paying for Fibre that I am not receiving.
They cut my network on the claims that three months ago l had an arrear. You try to reach them to give your proof of payments to show that you have never skipped payments but they are out of reach. The calls are never answered. All they want is money for the service they have not rendered. This is the most awful service provider ever.
This service is very bad. I called 086 178 7377 for assistance with the wifi speed on the 17th of November 2024, so the lady who answered me let me do 3 speed test and then she logged a ticket SST 521 827 for me at technical SUPPORT. So I waited for them to call me back. Now it is the 20th November and they haven't given me any feedback so I called the number again 2 times and no one answered!
Supersonic is the worst. They have no customer support, non of the contract numbers are working they just leave in dark no one wil reply ever I've been trying to get hold of them to get my fiber line reconnected for weeks my family is sitting without wifi no tv nothing in my house is working coz of the wifi connection Bad service
Billed for 3 weeks of fibre, even though, I had not received the router. Have still not been reimbursed. Waited for 3 weeks for an upgrade with no response. Pathetic customer service and I cancelled and went back to Rain 5g (what a pleasure!). Now billed for R899 for cancelling within 12 months of the month to month contract which I have never received from supersonic! They should be renamed Superpathetic!
They are crooks. From day 1 of processing the order it took over 2 weeks to receive the router. At the point of turning it on i would go on for days without connectivity, their customer service line never picks up, the whatsapp line goes unanswered. On a request for cancellation you are charged a cancellation fee plus an amount to collect their defective routers. which is either a ploy to keep clients hostage or just daylight robbery. Keep away from this scammer.
Please don't join them you will regret it in the future especially their billing department.
Never in my life I had this much trouble getting InTouch with a company... after reading everyone else's frustration i can now believe that tis company is a front for money laundering or something with forbidden substances... wonder if some has gone to their offices to see if there is actually a company...
Does Supersonic actually have anyone working in their technical department? No one ever answers no matter the time of day you call or however long you hold. This is one of the worst companies you can deal with. DON'T sign up with them. You will be in for nothing but a headache. They don't even deserve one star!

No internet whole day call centre you hold for over 30min with no answer, whatsapp and facebook all you get is an automated response. They the worse its ALWAYS a nightmare to get help when you have a problem I just need to know how do i cancel
No Internet all day, support is non existent. Whatsapp channels unavailable, fb gets an automated messages and calls go unanswered for hours or until it cuts. I need a better supplier
Supersonic service is really poor. I have been without internet for more than 5 days (can you imagine working from home, i had to buy data every day just so i could log on and have meetings). I logged a ticket and keep calling on a daily basis, all they say is they are investigating. No one calls back, and when calling them i have to stay on the line holding for someone to answer the call, for more than 30min. This is really pathetic service. I thinking of cancelling their service.
