I was billed THREE times last month. Supersonic refuses to refund the extra two months' payments, AND they disconnected the internet today, AND (wait for it) they want me to pay again to be reconnected. Meanwhile, I have lost 3 days of wages- and there will be no refund for that. In what universe is this ok?
Please be careful and read the terms & conditions. Absolutely pathetic service and policies. Trying to get hold of their support team or cancellations team is a nightmare. The cancellation policy is one of the 1st that I have seen sins LTE and Fibre were introduced. Normally the router will remain your property after 12/24 months or it is replaced by the ISP should it be faulty, however, not in the case of Super Sonic. Should your router become faulty or you which to cancel the service, even if you are sitting with a device that is 5 years old, you’ll be billed around R2500 for a device that is only a few hundred or nothing worth. Read the Terms & Conditions before the time and note, they do not mention the cost of the router. PS, you may not even buy a new identical router and ship it to them. This would have cost you around R1500 brand new.
No service. Internet always down. No responsibility taken and everyone blocks their profiles so you can't get hold of anyone. Credits are never processed.
Quick you charge you money, if waiting for refund they tell you there is a problem at the billing deparment
We applied over the long weekend and there was a slight delay in installation, but I'm very happy with the assistance with Moeti Manoto in explaining the delay and helping us to finalize our installation and getting us connected. They do everything they can to give one a proper Supersonic experience and I'm very happy I chose this service provider
I have experienced the most fast and efficient service from Annari at Supersonic I applied for relocation service at the end of September, my request was late as I submitted it a day before moving. My request was handled by Annari to was so quick to respond and was able on the day to confirm the package and service available in my new area. She communicated with me right through and scheduled my appointment at a time that was convenient for me, which I really appreciated. The service technician was there earlier than promised and set me up within 15min. He was very professional and accommodating of my family's needs. I want to appreciate the Supersonic team for putting my needs first and meeting all of them.
I don’t even want to give one star! Absolutely appalling customer service. Made us wait WEEKS to get up and running- well don’t stress Supersonic we’re going with a different company and will pass on the poor review to anyone looking to install fibre in their homes.

I am not happy at all with you Supersonic .You don't take my complains/problems seriously. I have lodged a query to customer care, you gave me case number: 1241821 which means a query is active on the system. However up until now no one has managed update me on the process nor resolve my problem, Its being a week without internet , my business is highly affected by this .I have reported the problem that we are out of internet therefore my business cant operate without the internet. I have have sent a contact follow still no response. I don't know why the matter is not resolved up until now.
If you're reading this it's probably already too late, but stay far away. Shocking behavior, absolutely non-existent customer service. Supersonic supplied incomplete / used router which was unusable out-of-the-box ( with picture evidence). I was unable to remedy the issue via any of their support channels. Absolutely NON EXISTENT SERVICE. During this time the company BILLED ME for a service I couldn't use. Eventually I was forced to cancel a service I was never able to use, with a router which arrived NOT FIT FOR SERVICE; whereupon, instead of collecting their incomplete router at their cost, THEY BILLED ME FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! Avoid at all cost, and be prepared to spend time lodging disputes via your credit card vendor for claw-backs. Just pathetic.
I wish there was a minus here, Stay away from Supersonic they overcharge customers and then tell us we need to check the website to see if there prices change and request new rates. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service. 55minutes later you cant even speak to someone
I am working from home no wifi connection since 9am this morning it is 13h00 now which leaves me unproductive for the past 4 hours I had lots of faith in Supersonic in the beginning but I'm afraid I ca not say the same now this service is pathetic every flippen second day there's a outage what is the sense of paying for wifi I am busy shopping around for new network for a company who takes their clients interest be heart I am so a noted frustrated annoyed and the list goes on still sitting cannot work and no updates on the Florida park restoring off connectivity
I canceled my subscription a year ago. A year later SuperSonic starts debiting me for services I haven't been using. This continues regardless of my attempts to stop the debit orders.
If I could give them -10000 I would their service is subpar and when you provide notice of leaving your subscription, they debit your account anyway. We have tried resolving through calling customer service, through emailing our agent we signed up through and nothing we have not received a single cent back for just under a year now we have been trying .Pathetic service I hope they go bankrupt if this is how they deal with loyal customers. (We had been with them for a few years before cancelling)
Just stole R2500 out of my account. I canceled in January. It's now 31 July. I hope these thieves sort out my account soon!
My service was not connecting the whole day yesterday 30 July 2023 it was on off, off most of the time off. This connection is less than a month but I have experienced this 3 times already. The whatsapp line is just not helpful at all. I told them what is happening. They just dumped my conversation and said I did not respond. I regret the day I took these people as my service provider. Before this I was with Telkom for 3 years and their connection never gave me any problems not once. It's their billing system that is frustrating.
I signed up yesterday with Supersonic but after i read these reviews I cancelled immediately so it very important to check on the reviews before signing up for anything. Thank you guys you have helped me much appreciated.
I have been trying to cancel my subscription with them for 2 months without luck. The fact that the acknowledged my request on one occasion means they are aware of my request but the fact they have ignored me since means this is a deliberate practice aimed at extending payment as long as they possible can. They will not beat me on this and I will recommend that anyone choosing to use them in future only does so with a legally binding assurance that you can cancel with one months written notice to a specific email address. You have been warned.
11 days into contract and no progress on receiving any services.copy paste every day saying they will be in contact and nothing,absolutely no interest at all.i am a new client and if this is the service before being connected I cringe at what is ahead.so many complaints about the service provider so I suspect they won't be interested I another complaint.
You will wait long for help when you call. They will redirect you to a robotic WhatsAPP service and you will not get the help you need. If you are lucky to speak to an agent it will become clear that more needs to be done to provide an informed staff to deal with technical issues.
