The customer service was beyond excellent and the products are very high quality.
Gave the company drawing and measurements and center post was off by 2" .Needed more parts to finish and didn't charge my credit card and didn't tell me . Waited 2 week for the parts. Didn't send the right parts to fasten to wood and no instructions.

Wow!!! Great product and great do-it-yourself packaging and instructions. This company could not have made it any easier to order and install our stairs. We even lost a couple of parts and were able to get them so easily and quickly when calling Stair Supplies. When you order each main post, you don't have to figure out what else you might need and how many. It tells you what you'll need! When it arrives, each post comes separately in its own box, marked clearly as to which post it is. Inside the box, each set of parts you need is clearly marked in its own package. We were so happy with this company and the way they made everything so clear and easy from ordering to installation. Love Stair Supplies! Finally, a company that got it right.

Ordering and customer service were fantastic. Gave great updates about ship date. Happily fixed an error in my order. Delivered product when promised. Wood is beautiful. Here is my beef. I can't believe that final factory sanding was done using an orbital sander on the wood pieces! The wood was buttery smooth right out of the box (extremely well packed). The wood was so smooth that it did not need further sanding and I went straight to tack cloth and staining. This is when circular swirl marks appeared everywhere, after 2 coats of stain had been applied. Seriously, I couldn't believe anybody would use an orbital sander for final sanding. Unfortunately, now my handrails are beautiful until you look closely and see all the small round circles everywhere. Can't understand how a mill would do this. So, shame on me for not doing my own sanding but I hope this review saves another buyer from the same fate.
Absolutely horrible customer service and tracking system! I had the order sent to my work-site, and because we didn't open the packages right away until needed...about 2 weeks after arrival, we then discovered almost half the order was missing. I promptly sent an email to customer service and their response was that according to the "red label" on package, contents had to be inspected right away or the "company is not liable for refunds or replacements". What an absolute crock!!! Sometime later I even received parts from them that I didn't even order! They probably screwed up an order for someone else too! But because of "their" incompetence, I was short changed a refund or replacement parts, and had to find a last minute supplier to finish the job. I will not even give one star if the option was available as this company is a rip-off!

I only received 2 out of the 4 pieces that I ordered and paid for. Never received a tracking notice for the 2 pieces received nor notice of a back order.

Product looks great. Well assembled. Small screws for the handrail broke inside the wood. Shipping was delayed many weeks without any communication being made. Project design was incorrect (wrong post sent - should allow curve the other way) which led to additional delays and a hazard to my kids. Company issued a credit to minimize inconveniences above.

We purchased two finished handrails. Handrails and hardware were easy to assemble and they look great. Excellent product; very well finished and hardware was easy to install on the rails and wall.
Stainless wire railing with silver powder coat posts. When I first started looking online the ordering seemed a little confusing. Later I realized that the various parts are paired with the posts to make sure you get everything you need. Although the price was a bit high I found no other way to get the modern, well finished look that we wanted. We love the way the railing keeps the openness of the house.
