Everything was great

Good service and very good system with serious attention.

Vehicle was a good size to fit in all 4 of us and golf bags. Only issue was we were delayed arriving and after I informed of this prior to departure there was no communication when we landed, so there was no one there to meet us. I had to call and find out where the taxi was which was a bit annoying. Otherwise good service.

Booking through Ski-Lifts was seamless, we had to make a couple of changes after the booking was made but nothing was too much trouble. The company they used in Portugal were absolutely fantastic and would have no qualms using them again.

The driver was courteous and efficient. However he had to phone to find our location, which was difficult as we do not use phone technology/ apps.

I would not recommend this company based in my experience. You pay a hefty fee in advance and if your flight is delayed they won’t move the booking - they simply cancel it (without refund) and you have to pay AGAIN if you want them to pick you up at a later time. Considering it’s £275 per transfer this is not ideal. We gave them over 3 hours notice (so well ahead of the planned pick up time) that our flight was delayed but apparently there was ‘no way’ our current booking could be moved - yet if you are willing to pay again they can miraculously find someone else to pick you up. Ski Lifts seems to be based in London and are a sort of agency for the taxi services in the Alps. If I had known this beforehand I would never have booked (they were recommended by our chalet company) as they seem to be making a lot of money from local taxi firms and taking a hefty fee for a very poor service. Another time I would stick with AlpyBus or one of the other local transfer services as they are flexible if your flights are delayed and much, much cheaper. Alpybus etc are also right by the airport terminal, whereas we had to walk quite some distance (not great with a lot of luggage) with our Ski-lifts driver to another carpark across the airport. Update: Thank you Ski Lifts for your response. Thank you for confirming that you are a transfer/taxi company that is unable to offer any flexibility in the event of a delay, unlike other transfer companies. I can understand you saying you cannot arrange another booking at 3 hours notice, but to say you expect the customer to pay for the existing booking when given that much notice is frankly outrageous and exploitative and I suspect you keep that money rather than passing it on to the local taxi companies who can easily pick up other bookings with that much notice (which is clearly the case as testified by your ability to book another car at additional cost).
