A Complete Disappointment – Do Not Buy! I regret purchasing the 6' x 10' Palram Canopia Tan Skylight Plastic Shed from ShedStore. After less than a year of use, the shed was completely destroyed during Storm Eowyn on January 24, 2025, which brought winds of over 90mph. This product failed spectacularly in conditions that, frankly, any outdoor shed should be able to handle. The shed was advertised as being made from "high-impact polycarbonate panels with an aluminium frame," claiming to be "virtually unbreakable" and "the strongest materials on the market." However, the polycarbonate panels were ripped apart by the wind, and the aluminium frame provided no structural rigidity whatsoever. The entire structure collapsed, leaving behind a pile of debris. Furthermore, the free Hilti screw anchoring kit included with the shed was utterly useless. The screws snapped under minimal pressure, offering no support to keep the shed securely fastened during the storm. This failure was not only disappointing but dangerous. The shed’s advertising also promised an "aluminium frame providing extra rigidity and corrosion resistance" and a "galvanized steel base perimeter for added strength." In reality, the aluminium frame buckled and the steel base bent with ease. This is not the "maximum durability" that was marketed. What makes this situation even worse is that despite reaching out to ShedStore multiple times via email, I’ve received no response or acknowledgment of my complaint. This is a gross failure of customer service and a complete disregard for consumer concerns. Given the total destruction of the shed in less than one year, I’m requesting a full refund. As of now, I’ve been met with silence, and I am forced to write this review in the hope that it garners the attention this issue deserves. Save yourself the headache and avoid this product and this company. 29/01/25 Good Afternoon, Thank you for your reply, but I must clarify that I have indeed made multiple attempts to contact ShedStore regarding this issue, all of which have gone unanswered. The lack of response up until now has been incredibly frustrating and is not in line with the customer service one should expect. As I stated in my review, the shed was severely damaged within a year of use, and the materials and structural integrity failed well below expectations, as advertised. I am requesting a full refund due to these issues, as well as the dangerous failure of the product during Storm Eowyn. I expect a prompt resolution of this matter, and for an advisor to contact me without further delay. Please consider this my formal request for a refund. Kind regards, Mark Birney

Ordered in line no problems

I’d like to give them a higher review, but as people can’t communicate it’s impossible to do so! I spoke with someone prior to ordering about the types of bases that would need to be put down and ordered my shed based upon that, but then received an email to say that this was incorrect and that I’d have to make different arrangements for foundations for the base. This was completely contradictory to what I was told in the first place. I now find myself needing to try and cancel part or all of the shed and no surprises, everyone is “in meetings” and can’t speak!

Order went well, read delivery would put order where we wanted, delivery arrived and refused to put shed round the back in garden, rang up and was told it was up to driver so left two pensions one recovering from cancer to lift it round the back garden, went with this company as it said they would put where we wanted it, we did not get any confirmation just turns up
