Refund was processed very quickly. Chat function was great for answering questions about the banking information required. Because they are a third party, they cannot refund to your method of payment (credit card). Only option given is through a wire transfer to your bank. Still waiting for a letter from bank to explain why $299 refund resulted in only $269. My bank has told me incoming wire transfer is $15 so it is possible outgoing bank charged $15 too. Canada.

That was the long and complicated procedure. Many emails, too much , for my opinion, not necessary proofs and documents for someone, who payed for ticket cancelation. For example, why need the date of ticket purchase , if you see the booking confirmarion, the date and cancelation fees payed.

They tried their best to avoid the refund, had to jump through hoops, service not as it seems when you take the option of protection.

I firstly made contact via chat and was advised as to what documents I needed to submit as I knew I wasn't ill enough to get a doctor's note. This chat function and the advice I was given was invaluable. I followed the advice given and submitted my evidence along with my claim. I received my refund one week after submitting my claim. Excellent service.
