Thank goodness I purchased the ticket protection for a minimal fee as we were unable to attend the show. Very straightforward claims process. Fantastic customer service over the phone too. Would definitely recommend this company and purchasing the protection.
At this moment in time I feel this is a complete waste of money, we missed the polar express train ride by 1hr 12mins I still continue to the event to show we had tried and to see how we claim back money because of the traffic near the event. People at the event were very helpful and said that traffic was a valid reason and it does States on the website for the ticket insurance “Travel Delay on the day of the Event due to a cause outside of the control of each of the Ticket Holders that solely and directly prevents the Ticket Holder's continued transit to the Event.” I’m now being made to try and prove this, I’ve sent all the evidence I have which is more than enough prove even phone calls to the venue when I was letting them know we would be late and my new booking that is £265 to prove I didn’t go on the original one but I’m being asked for media clippings of the traffic? I’ve paid the protection and given evidence but now feel I’m going to be made to jump through hoops, doesn’t make the process easy and I’m guessing not many will be successful claims. If my claim isn’t successful I will have nearly paid £500 4 for the polar express train ride.
I got my refund relatively easily, the form was simple to fill in and I got a prompt email reply, with request for more information, which was easy to upload, once I'd done that I got my refund very quickly.
