After receiving an email stating that I'm being billed for more than I ordered, I have tried for 3 days to contact them - phone, email - to say, "do not send the item I did not order" and "fix your website because clearly, you added the extra item." I received a generic BS email in return that got me nowhere. No phone number was given either. THey are illegitimately using bad and fraudulent sales practices and they should be reported as FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS! I know they are doing this because most people won't go through the hours of time and frustration to send back never-purchased items. In fact, I'm thinking, WHERE WOULD I SEND THEM TO? CHINA? ***THIS IS AN UPDATE: after way too many emails and unanswered calls, Prepared Hero reps contacted me via email to advise me to contact them when my shipment arrived to tell them and then they would mail me a postage-paid package to return the item and they would then refund me for the item that I DID NOT purchase. So.... I did just that. THen another representative responded via email saying to enjoy my spray and keep the product and that they will refund me for it. I checked my credit card account and THEY DID REFUND ME. I had to write back and ask again why I would have received something I didn't order and they did respond to that (after the 2nd time I wrote with this question). The Prepared Hero rep explained that I had ordered it when I selected the deal (2 blankets for $15 each, which was half of what I had just spent on 1 blanket. There was no visible 3rd item). SO, it seems they tell you that you are buying 2-for-1, but really, they are selling a 3rd item that you can't see. So, they seem legit, but something seems off... or they are one of these companies that don't have phones, which is annoying if you're over 50. I gave them one more star for making it right, but boy am I tired from the work it took to get there. A really good company would have answered a call and had a customer service rep handle it on the first call and I could go back to my life. Also, they are missing 3 stars because I still feel that they mislead me on their advertising and did a sort of "bait and switch", but I am willing to be wrong here. I'll read more reviews to see if anyone else is having good experiences with this company. I hope the actual products are as good as advertised!

Predatory marketing and sales tactics. “No questions asked, no hassle returns” is an outright lie. Refused to offer any return solutions instead offering upsells multiple times and website credits that amounted to less than 20 percent of return. Had to fight and file dispute with bank and they still refused to refund entire order, Conducts all business through Amazon, including fulfillment, but doesn’t apply any Amazon policies or guarantees. Products are cheap and don’t work. Overall scam predatory company.

Thankfully all of the fire blankets are still untested…. I bought 5 to give as gifts and one for our apartment. I am happy with the convenience of storage, the quality of the material and the excellent speedy delivery Thank you.

I've been looking at these fire blankets for a long time, finally asked a friend that is a firefighter what he thought. He had heard good things, although he's never actually used one, a good thing. Anyway, I ordered some on-line which was easy, and received my order quickly and well packaged. All good on that part. Hopefully I or any of my kids will have to ever use them but we will have them just in case! BTW I am guessing on the date of experience.

I emailed two times asking a question after ordering and receiving the fire blankets. Both times I got a timely response (within 48 hours). This customer service is rare today. It's good to know that after paying for the product, customer service is happy to help answer whatever question you have. I bought 4 fire blankets and will be giving each of my two adult children one. I think it will be one of the best gifts they will ever receive.

I contacted Customer Support about a recent issue with an order. I got an immediate response with an apology for the mixup, and they went above and beyond to correct the problem. I have purchased not only the fire blankets for everyone in my family, but now I’m buying the hero sprays as well. I feel so much more comfortable, knowing my family will be safer.

I just placed an order for one blanket, then agreed to buy one get one free, for the same price but it immediately placed the order without showing me it had placed several other items on my order and charged my card well over a hundred dollars. I thought this company was legit. DO NOT ORDER FROM PREPAREDHERO. What a ripoff. I wonder if I’ll even get one blanket.

I had inadvertently ordered multiple quantities of the fire blanket online. I called Customer Service, the representative immediately revised the order and indicated I would receive a refund. The next day, I received an email confirming the order had been revised per my request and reiterating that I would receive a refund. I was impressed with how easy it was to correct the mistake I had made and the responsiveness of Customer Service, both via phone and email.

I placed an order for 4 fire blankets on December 4th, at which point three charges were placed on my card immediately. My order total was $61.95, yet they made three withdrawals on my credit card: one for $171.19, one for $32.09 and one for $66.29 KEEP IN MIND, I’ve never received my order of four fire blankets. I’ve sent four emails to customer service with no response and have called customer service six times and I only get a recording saying they are busy and to use their website. Pretty sure this is a scam and I'm out approximately $270 and no blankets which were going to be Christmas gifts. I’m ashamed and embarrassed that I fell for this scam…
