I supplied all requested delivery details on my original order. I was then asked via email to supply delivery instructions. After a few days the delivery company requested similar. In effect I had to give the same information 3 times. The order eventually arrived outside the quoted 5-7 working days by which time my fitter had to leave for another job. Unless you want loads of hassle, order from somewhere else.

The company can improve by checking they have the stock in their warehouses (they actually put it in their advertisement the sink was in stock),before they take the money out of your account. Then a week down the line send me an email to say it's not in stock.

Service was good.....and product. Delivery dreadful. They said they didn't deliver to Southampton and contracted it out to another provider. Drivers not insured to cross your property boundary or help unpack. Even with posrcode driver got lost in a very easy area with clear signage. He phoned me and I had to go and find him and escort it to house. It was 3 mins away and sign was clear....no sat nav? Then we had to sit on drive and free this large heavy item (complete glass shower enclosure with curved doors) from the pallet, unpack it and check it whilst he stood by. We couldn't carry it into house and unpack it as he wasn't allowed to come in but needed to see us unpack and check it in case goods were faulty!! Good job it wasn't raining and short distance from drive to front door. We had to get rid of large pallet as well! I did write to company but they couldn't be bothered to reply (wasn't seeking compensation) so looks like they don't care and nothing will improve.

Suddenly found I needed an extra shower wall panel so rang and was advised to place the order through the web site. Rang Tanyka again after placing the order and explained I really needed a prompt delivery and the goods arrived this morning, less than 48 hours later! Very impressed with the customer support and also the quality of the panels that I ordered. Will use Plumbing World again.

I ordered a Franke tap 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive it in spite of being promised a 3-5 days delivery. There seems to be some issue between Plumbing World's supplier, Franke and a stocktake problem, but I am the hapless customer caught in the middle. On the first 2 occasions of ringing and chasing, I was promised faithfully a call back within a few hours and never got these calls back. I finally talked to someone in sales called Hollie who was charming and kept me informed but still no positive outcome. I have now asked asked for a refund but in the meantime I have cancelled my plumber twice and need to start all over again with another supplier. Not impressed and won't be ordering from you again!

Huge problem with shipping, I never received my order even though I paid a lot for fast shipping. After a long time I had to cancel the order.

I bought a hot tap boiler last year. There was a slight problem with the tap, it worked perfectly, just a small thing. The company were brilliant. After questions and photos of the problem they had no hesitation in replacing it. Communication was excellent.

The communication from the sales side of your business was top notch.A phone enquiry I made on Saturday 6th.April was dealt with very efficiently in a very customer friendly manner.I came off the phone as a very satisfied customer.(I'm afraid that I didn't catch the name of the male in sales).Alongside that I have been impressed by the prompt and efficient responses to my emails from Hollie Samuels.Responses from Sales, by phone and email, gave me confidence that I had chosen a professionally run business. Unfortunately,I can only offer nil points for your delivery department.Is this part of the operation subcontacted out?Despite having supplied an email address and 3 contact phone numbers,neither I nor my plumber were messaged about a delivery time (I had requested that the driver of the delivery van advise when he was 30 minutes away) nor a definite delivery day.Luckily,my plumber had finished work for the day and arrived home,the actual delivery address,at the same time as the delivery vehicle. I think that I would have been a little irate if I had received a £50 unloading charge after I'd put everything in place to make the act of delivering a risk free and simple exercise.

Disaster. I specifically called the showroom so they could check if the Fixed bathscreen I wanted was on display and actually "fixed" as shopping for these is a nightmare. Someone went away and confirmed it was, so I ordered. I also ordered 2x bath panels for another job. When one of my guys got the materials to the jobs both were wrong! Bath panels had been exchanged (which I agreed to as the others were unavailable) only to find they were a different size and didn't fit, AND the bath screen wasn't fixed after all. Lost a days labour and £50 of fuel. Really not happy

I have had a great experience with Plumbing World over the past couple of years. I ordered a new bathroom suite and had an issue with the toilet seat and the customer service from Kayleigh was exceptional and the issue was dealt with promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend Plumbing World!

Purchased a product in January (expensive!), the product was installed in March and failed within 5 days (Faulty electrical component) . I expected a nightmare to have a replacement but I was very surprised even after reading some of the reviews to experience the total opposite. No chasing, no hassle, no issues and I received a replacement with no quibbles. I recently placed another order and they contacted me to say the items picture was incorrect and do I wish to proceed. Honestly because of this level of service this will be my first place to visit when looking for anything I need plumbing / bathroom related, thanks!

Ordered a bath online with this company, they said it was in stock and ready to be dispatched. Once I had paid for the item, they emailed me to say it wasn’t in stock and it would take 7 days to refund. Avoid at all costs

Bit of a mix on this review. Item was ordered leading into an installation. (Plumbing World say wait for delivery before booking a contractor - I get that). Install date was brought forward, & ordered 10 working days before new Install date, & based on Installer product recommendation. Order sat there - payment failed, so I'm on enquiry & rang Customer Services. Quick answer, clear steer - need to re-order. 1. Would have been good if Order System alerted Payment had failed. Re-order. Order Confirm email suggests I'll be informed of delivery progress. 2. It doesn't. Customer Services advise Tracking details, I know what's happening and item's (unfortunately) trashed on delivery - good Delivery guy, I reject & (again) prompt info from Customer Services on re-order. But it's quiet again, using up the fat going into installation & need to get (a quick response again). 3. No Tracking info. Customer Service Tracking info. advised & 2nd delivery all good (Product is good). Soo..... PW Customer Services are good - quick on the 'phone, quick on the emails) but the IT end/Tracking Info end....... nope......

My original order had 10 items (2 of the same item). When the order was delivered only 1 for the 2 items was delivered. I believe the quantity was lost when moving things between my order and my wish list (the only way to save an order before purchasing). When I checked my order, I was more worried about missing an item the checking the quantity had not been hanged. The crux my grievance is I was forced to reorder the missing item and then had to pay £29.95 for delivery for a problem, that in the main, was not my fault.

All items were delivered and all seemed fine. Upon nearly completing the bathroom I discovered the toilet seat fixings were missing. I informed Plumbing world, they were helpful on the phone and asked me to email a photo of the missing parts for their supplier. Very difficult to do, to take a photo of something I haven’t got. So a written email confirming the missing parts was decided on. I proceeded to receive an email stating the supplier will not send any of the fixings as I was out of time to report any losses or damages. And I would have to buy a whole seat together the fixings. They did offer a discount on the seat, the cheek of it. The date the supplier stated was actually 5 days earlier than when the items were delivered. Any how I purchased the fittings from elsewhere for £6. I imagine a lot cheaper than buying a new seat. The initial order and delivery was fine. After sales service has let this company down and I won’t use them again.
