Messed about for four weeks and still haven’t received 1 of the orders so if the service was as quick as the request for feedback it may have been better .... will probably not order from here again

I ordered a shower enclosure and tray from Plumbing World a couple of months ago and it was constantly out of stock. I am not sure why some websites do not update their items as "out of Stock" as this would make it much easier to avoid those. One thing I will say about them is that when I requested a refund they did so with no quibbles.

I spent hours looking online when planning to refurbish our bathroom and Plumbing World seemed to meet all my requirements at a fair price. They were helpful on the phone when I had any queries and delivery was exactly as they said. Would happily deal with them again, for any other plumbing requirements.

Terrible! I am still waiting to receive bath taps that I ordered on 26th October. I have since been sent the wrong set of taps, not just once, but twice. It seems that nobody at Plumbing World is capable of checking that the correct item is being despatched. I am still waiting, along with two incorrect taps at home. This lack of attention is the epitome of the modern age - online buyers beware.

I placed an order on the 5th!!!!! And now I’m getting told (after me chasing) that the items are not in stock (23rd) they have failed at the very basic customer service level of letting someone know that the order is going to be delayed…. and when you do finally get to speak to someone the careless attitude that is portrayed makes the experience 10x worse shopping with plumbing world. If your able to wait months for something to be delivered. or if the item is out of stock but your not bothered wherever the company tells you or not then feel free to give these guys a try.

I ordered a bath from Plumbing world for over £600. My bath NEVER arrived and the company has refused to give me a refund. Whenever I have tried to speak to anyone, I am constantly redirected. They kept postponing the delivery for unknown reasons. I have now escalated this case to my credit card company and I will be making a formal complaint!

I would certainly not use this company again, and especially their courier service, as they expect you to inspect the contents of all of your packages in minute detail prior to the delivery driver leaving your doorstep. If you spot a very small defect with the product after this point then, they state as you have signed for it defect free then expect you then to pay full price for a replacement. Is it practical to remove the entire contents of a new shower to inspect all of the glass prior to the delivery driver leaving your front door? They state this piece of information in the terms and conditions and however when receiving the correspondence regarding delivery information and what should happen during this process this is never mentioned. I did have to purchase another shower unit, however my shower installers managed to refurb my existing doors to fit my new shower as when the original unit turned up it had defects in two of the four glass panels.

The service and value provided was very good, however the experience was totally marred by your delivery service, where you insisted on delivering my shower screen with a delivery window of between 5am and 7am. I have never been asked to accept a delivery as early as 5am in the morning before, which I consider to be a totally unreasonable time. As it happened I had to be up even earlier awaiting a call from your driver to provide directions as we live in a rural village. He eventually arrived at 6am.

Found this Company online. They were very reasonably priced which worried me so I checked the reviews and they were great so placed an order for a new bathroom suite this was 15th September. I had an email to say that the bath was out of stock until Oct / November. This wasn’t a problem as I wasn’t fitting it until November. On 2nd October I was emailed a date which was 4th November which was not a problem. Having not heard anything on the 3rd November I emailed them and had no reply. Not wanting to miss the delivery I waited in all day which meant taking a day off work. Nothing was delivered. I checked my emails that evening in case Id missed a message which I had that went into junk explaining they weren’t able to deliver as not in stock and they had called. I’m unable to answer calls at work so must have missed their call. I emailed back and asked if it was just the bath then deliver the rest of the gear before the weekend as I was fitting it fir a customer that coming weekend. Once again no reply. I received an email on 6th Nov again saying they had called and my new delivery date was 17th November. I replied to that email asking if it was definitely gonna be delivered on 17th and again had no reply. My wife waited in all day today and nothing was delivered. No call nothing. So my initial gut instinct was actually correct this company are rubbish. Happy to take payment knowing that they don’t have stock and then keep you dangling for months. I was looking forward to using them with my work but you couldn’t plan a bathroom job around them. Customer service is literally none existent.

Purchased a shower glass sceen Which was quoted 5-7 days delivery but eventually arrived 9 days later .Item packed well .

Purchased a shower on the 16th October, called customer services about the damaged shower to return 2 of the parts. Plumbing World confirmed the shower would be exchanged (I had a bathroom fitter arranged for the following week). Courier turned up to collect the damaged items but only collected 1 of the 2 did not exchange and refused to collect the remaining item. Emailed Plumbing World customer services 5 times and called a number of times to resolve the situation. Final email to plumbing world customer service sent on the 4th November saying that I have given up and I was going to purchase elsewhere. Returned the shower to Plumbing world brach on the 6th November and as of the 15th November I'm still waiting for a refund. Why no refund?

Great price for my bathroom furniture compared to my most local supplier. Service was excellent and products were delivered promptly. Would definitely order from here again!
