I had a complete bathroom reconfigured and fitted and used Plumbing World as the main supplier. The customer service is very good - present and helpful. The quality and pricing of their products were also good. All in all very happy and would use again

After ordering two towel rails to collect, I was told 2 days wait. It took me over 3 weeks for them to get there. Even though I called over 5 times, each time being told I will get a call back but never did. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

Plumbing World turned my radiator order around really quickly even after I had to modify the order. The company was the fastest delivery compared to all others for our refurb project.
Website isn’t clear about postage. Claims to be free over a certain price but isn’t. Used them for large order for a bathroom. When it arrived items were damaged and items were missing. Took weeks to sort out and delays in finishing. Put it down to a one off but my second large order was the same. Items were damaged and looked like they had been out in the rain because all items and packaging were soaking wet. Again weeks to sort out and get refunds. The company did give a £25 refund but for the time I spent waiting around for deliveries /replacements it was enough. Didn’t even cover the postage never mind my lost time. I would not use them again.
Can not rate this company highly enough, the customer service I have received has been top class. It's no surprise we are living in some very strange times at the moment, things aren't running normally which is making it difficult to go about our usual lives, and company's like this experiencing some challenges in keeping things running smoothly as is alot of places. I ordered a shower enclosure and tray back in December and was swiftly called to tell me that the tray I orderd was out of stock but they were expecting a delivery every friday, this wasn't an issue as I didnt need it until end of January and was told it wouldn't be an issue. The date gets closer and I was contacted again to notify me that the tray still wasn't in stock as the manufacturer were not operating at full capacity and was unlikely I'd get my tray. This posed a problem but one that couldn't be fixed thanks to Chantelle at customer service who went above and beyond to work with me in finding a suitable replacement, which she did and had everything delivered to me before my fitting date. Now unfortunately when it came to fit the shower enclosure itself we experienced a problem as it was damaged and had broken before we could install, luckily Chantelle was on hand again to help and sorted us a replacement immediately. If only more companies where this helpfull when things go wrong. Would definitely recommend anyone to use this company and will certainly use again myself.
I purchased a full bathroom kit and delivery was as described, furniture all arrived neatly packed on a pallet, all clear instructions with every item, well impressed with the quality and price, very good service.
They arrived on time and very quickly and efficiently discovered where the leak came from (we've been unable to find the source). The plumber then went out to buy what he needed, came back, fixed it and tested to make sure it was good. It was!
We all make mistakes, mine cost me £100. I was patient and understanding when my order delivery (shower panels and accessories) was delayed by 6 days to mid Dec. This meant the fitting was delayed until mid Jan. My mistake, not realising a panel was missing (I'm not an expert on how they package their items) and just missing the 30 day fault reporting limit. I asked if they would meet me half way - we had both made mistakes (that panel's somewhere)? Response, NO, from them and apparently the panel supplier also!! Both get to sell one panel twice! So, when the website says.. 'What makes us different We are independent and proud of it. Being an independent merchant allows us to be more flexible to meet our customer’s needs. We can make special arrangements when the unexpected happens and if something isn’t working we can adapt and fix it without getting lost in the bureaucracy that keeps national companies stuck in place. We are Plumbing World the Independent merchant striving to exceed our Customers Expectations' .... I can say that sadly that has not been my experience.

Ordered shower enclosure 14.01.21 Planned delivery 21.01.21 As of 30.01.21 the shower enclosure has still not turned up & no offer of compensation for the delay and inconvenience. Hopefully will arrive at some point, but not heard anything in the last 10 days. Order No. 000012820

Ordered a shower screen, checking it was available before ordering. All the information I needed was on their website, the process was straightforward, and I received a target delivery date. The item was delivered on the expected date, was in good condition and as described. Overall, great experience and I would use them again. Only minor suggestion is confirmatory contact between deliver estimate and delivery day, just to assure all is going to plan.
I made an enquiry regarding purchasing Bath. I was made aware that there as only 1 left in stock at the time of enquiry. They checked this with the warehouse to ensure that they still had it, which they did, so I was told to order ASAP. Which I did immediately. The delivery was booked in for 21st Jan. I then got a call the day before saying that they didn't actually have the bath in stock so the delivery will be delayed until 26th Jan. I obviously wasn't happy with this because I was told they did have one in stock when the order was made. Either way I accepted the delivery delay. I then got an email on the 21st advising that they still don't have the bath in stock and and suppliers have no idea when it will be, so Plumbingworld will delay my order again until the 28th Jan, even though they didn't know if they'd have the item by then!! At this point I decided to source a bath from else where (which I had to pay more for!) and cancel the order for the bath. With this order there were two other items and they said I'd now have to pay for delivery of these two items because I had gone under the £300 free delivery threshold, which I thought I was out of order because they had inconvenienced me. I would have thought they'd offer free delivery for the remaining two items due to the fact that they had messed up and I was now out of pocket. Out of principal I decided to cancel the whole order. The same evening, I got a text message and email from a driver saying that they will delivering my items (all 3, including the bath!!!) on 25th! How at 10:30am did they not have a clue when the supplier would have the item, then at 4:30pm the supplier now has the bath, the item had been delivered from the supplier to plumbing world, and allocated to a driver!!!! I called Plumbingworld first thing the next day and they advised that the delivery with the driver will be cancelled. Guess who turned up at our house at 8am on the 25th!!!!!! Such a bad customer experience. I will not be using this company again!
Great communication from start you delivery. Even over the Christmas period too. The tray turned up not damaged, well packed and was asked to check the product before signing, a rare thing these days. This was a replacement tray from a damaged one from ANOTHER company, they could learn alot from these people. Would recommend and use again no problem.
