The first shower screen I ordered was bowed, PLumbing World provided a full refund and was also the cheapest for the replacement screen I ordered. I will happily use them again for our next bathroom refurb.
The delivery and time keeping was good but when l want to but the shower tray and door it did not explain that there is no closure l have to pay delivery 2 times and go through of pay extra for the man that come to do the job
The showerscreen I purchased looks really smart and is of good quality. From ordering to delivery, the process was smooth. Now you might wonder when I say part ofcthe product was faulty, that I still give a 5* review. The reason is that Plumbing World did not quibble, organised a replacement part, job done.

I was delighted to find the offset shower product I wanted (in a size not available from other sellers) and at a reasonable price. The product was very good, but arrived very dirty. The main problem was my delivery experience. Having requested and paid for express delivery, and requesting a delivery time notification as the delivery address was not my home and I lived an hour away, I was provided with an intended delivery date, but no confirmation. The product arrived at 7am on the day, without notice. I started to drive the 26 miles to receive the delivery, while the driver asked his base if he could wait. When halfway there, the driver called to say he had to leave. The company were very good at rearranging delivery for the following week, but the tradesmen I had organised to fit over the weekend had to be cancelled. Furthermore, when the delivery arrived (a heavy offset shower cubicle/tray/glass, electric shower, and associated plumbing), there was one person to deliver to a third-floor apartment with no lift. While waiting for a double knee replacement, had to assist a very courteous delivery man with carrying it. Should have been a two-person delivery.
Excellent company, materials ordered and arrived exactly on the day they were suppose too and on time. All material were correct. System now installed and working brilliantly.
Having phoned through to check if my desired purchases were instock, I ordered my bathroom components - order 000015727. A few days later I received a phone call saying one of the units was not in stock and that there would therefore be a delay. This could haved caused real problems as I had booked people to update the bathroom based on the original date. Fortunately for me the date still worked, but it created unnecessary stress.
supply of parts not the right type for shower tray i.e. waste stands to high above shower tray. The waste supplied is for a shower tray with a recessed aperture.

Please be very careful when ordering from Plumbing World when it comes to delivery charges. I was charged £44.95 to have a small sink (under 10kg) delivered to south west mainland Scotland. If I lived in England the charge would have been £20 less. When I contacted them about it they just kept repeating 'you were made aware of the delivery charge before purchase' SO!! - it doesn't justify the excessive charge?? They also couldn't justify the difference in delivery cost to England either, as the courier covers all the UK. I too sell online and normally pay less than £10 to send a 10kg parcel anywhere on mainland UK. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out!!?!??! Further to the reply: The item was delivered via DPD who charge a flat rate of around £10 for a parcel (of the size and weight I ordered) no matter how much the parcel is 'handled ', and they do not charge ANY EXTRA - NEVERMIND £20 more to deliver to Southern Scotland. There are no excuses!!
Ordered WC and basin on line, they confirmed it was in stock after speaking to them, spoke again to them and delivery was confirmed again. Received email evening before saying delivery would not be possible due breakage ! so very annoyed ! The following day i got intouch with customer services to discuss this. Sam from customer services said sadly what i had ordered was no longer in stock and the broken item was unusable. He said he would look out a similar WC/basin and send us a link. He was good to his word and we where happy with the (more expensive) alternative and we would not be charged anymore for this upgrade. It was promised it would all be put on an overnight carrier, which it was. From what seemed like a hopeless situation at 11:20 on Thursday morning to everything been delivered at 7:40 the Friday morning is amazing...... and thanks for the toilet seat. Thanks again !
Dreadful, item was marked as 3-5days delivery, turns out they have no stock at all and just order from the manufacturer, received constant lies about when they were turning up stayed home for 2days, lost that 2days wages. Took 3 weeks in the end!
