There was a problem getting the items ordered. the person I spoke to me at Plumbing World sorted it asp and I had the item ordered in a smaller size and they gave me the joining strip free and arrived in a few days. I ordered shower boarding well good quality would buy again a good company.

We have purchased items 2or 3 times from plumbing world and have been very pleased with the process, contact and delivery. The description of the items were exact and arrived in good condition well packed.
Plumbing World have emailed me twice in the last 2 days asking for a review. So here it is. Ordered a shower tray and trap, paid over £500 for them. Got a call the next day saying the item is not available as it's not in stock. I enquired why the website says it is in stock. I was told the website does not maintain stock levels or something to that effect. It seems to be a case of, "Computer says no". The fun didn't end there, It took another 5 days before the refund appeared back in my bank account. I will leave it up to you to decide if this is a process you would like to go through. Hopefully they will stop emailing me asking for a review now.
Problem is their returns procedure is rubbish. Refused refund as packaging was not in original condition. ( builders tore the box on opening) How can packing mean no refund, the item itself is what I paid for and I am returning them perfect condition. I got told the item subject to a quality check and a deduction from the refund. Was told brown tape not acceptable for packaging so repacked it’s in clear tape. Even eBay has a better refund policy than plumbingworld. I am genuinely so disappointed.
Having searched a lot for replacement radiator valve caps I decided to purchase from Plumbing World. The description seemed fine and the product price of £9.54 for 3 convinced me that these were the Rolls Royce of valve cap replacements (I needed 6). However, the postage cost of £7.95 for two very small parcels was exhorbitant. When they arrived I looked at the product and felt that they were a bit flimsy and, like most things these days, not of the standard which you could get 50 or so years ago. I have managed to install them but, unlike where you screw them direct into the turn valve they do have a plastic pressure system which tightens around the turn valve when you apply a screw from the top. However, there is serious design fault here because the screw provided is absolutely useless. Not only is it too short but it is too malleable and the screw head distorts too easily. Like most people, I have my own selection of screws, so ended up using mine which were a few millimetres longer and a much better quality with a much better bite.
When my order was delivered, unfortunately one unit was damaged during transit. I contacted your Customer Service and received a prompt apologetic reply from Jessica, who then arranged a swift replacement direct from supplier.This has arrived, intact, today within 3 days. Thank you for your efficient service. Totally happy with my purchase excellent value.
