Poor customer service. We bought a 3-1 boiling water tap to fit for a customer. After installing there was a noticeable leak from the mixer valve cartridge. We had to then uninstall the tap and quickly buy another more expensive unit from a local merchant so the customer wasn’t left without a tap and we could complete the job. Upon attempting to return the faulty tap unit I’ve been given nothing but the run around. Having to complete a nonsense online form with pics etc then having to chase up refund and return only to be told that the tap manufacturer would need to review the fault before refund was issued! This not only contravenes consumer rights but also distance selling regulations. If this were any other merchant there’d be no question of refund. I bought from plumbing world, the item was faulty and that’s that. The conversation between them and the manufacturer should be exactly that! Between them. The end customer shouldn’t be involved. The only thing I can see is that they’re trying to make it difficult in the hope that it goes away and they don’t lose a sale.

Panels arrived when they said they would. Lovely delivery driver brought these enormous and very heavy panels down several stone steps as it was raining and my husband had had foot operation and the builder hadn’t arrived. Great service will use again.

Atrocious service when complaining about a hairline fracture in a cistern bought from them. Because my plumber had filled with water to check for leakages they said it had been used and therefore invalid. Sent them images and then ignored my complaints. After spending thousands of pounds I would have expected better. BTW they don't seem to have any stock - they appear to be only a go-between other manufacturers and suppliers. They also say they don't entertain claims after 30 days - a severe lack of Consumer Law!

I found a shower enclosure, shower wall and mixer on your site and placed the order. Shortly after I was telephoned and told some items were out of stock. These were the enclosure and the wall, the main parts of the order. You could offer no dates so offered to cancel the order. The money was refunded. If you do not have true stock figures then this should be made clear on the website. If you cannot offer deliver dates, take the items off! This wasted quite a lot of my time. I’m pleased to hear that the website will be reviewed. I suggest such items ask customers to telephone to check availability. I actually found the same products elsewhere and cheaper.

Shopping experience very good easily ordered online great delivery and helpful driver always kept informed of delivery time , one item missing but quickly resolved and delivered by postage a few days later ,I also ordered a separate item a few day later but was informed by phone call not in stock refund processed quickly all good would definitely use them again Currently in the process of fitting my new bathroom and so far quality of the product is good

I purchased a shower door online. I had read all the specifications about the door and sizes. However, the fitment of the door was not covered. The box needed to be opened to see the door fitting type. The fitment type was not compatible with my aperture. I attempted to return the shower door. I was told that because I had purchased the door online and the box had been opened, even though nothing had been removed, Plumbing World would not accept the door back. I now still have a door that is of no use to me. Also, Plumbing World allowed me to purchase another shower door over the counter before telling me that they would not accept the online door back.

Website was generally very well laid out and informative. Slightly disappointed with the build quality of the item. Detail regarding delivery cost was misleading. It said £29 delivery but at checkout, it mysteriously changed to £39. Not a huge amount, but a request for an explanation of the difference was ignored. Delivery scheduling was very quick and customer service was 1st class when I asked them to change the date because I couldn't be available for the first date. Courier was well chosen, the item arrived very well protected and secure on a truck with a friendly, competent and helpful driver. Would have given 5 stars, but for the lack of explanation regarding the delivery charge and the lower than expected build quality.

Easy to use website. Ordered a shower tray and cubical sliding door. All good.

Quick enough to take the order and deliver, but when it came to a scratch on the shower screen glass .. I filled out returned form ... And sent photos.. it took them 3 days later to get back to me wanting more pictures... Useless company wouldn't use again

Very slow customer service. They sent me an incorrect item as part of my order and then took 2 weeks to send out a replacement.

Having previously had a bad experience with an online plumbing company, I called Plumbing World to assure myself that they were a genuine company. The lady I spoke to in sales was very professional and I was given the assurances I seeked. I order online and received an email almost immediately confirming the order and the expected delivery date. So happy that I have found an online Plumbing company that I can Trust. The customer service is 1st class.

This was the only company that seemed to sell an 1100 x 800 offset quadrant shower tray. My phone call to check stock availability was very efficient and professional. Ordered online and this was a straight forward process. The goods arrived on the due delivery date, friendly driver who took the items into my garage. The shower tray and enclosure look great in our new bathroom. I would Recommend this company

Wide selection on website. Good quality tap. My order was dispatched straight away. The order was delivered by a proper courier - rang the bell and waited rather than putting it on the step and running away! Delivery cost was a bit high.

The sink was dented during transit. Customer services were apologetic and offered me my money back. I’m still waiting for my refund. It cost £155, I got an identical one delivered by direct heating supplies for £95 and it wasn’t damaged

From a great price to online chat (to check that the items I wanted are in stock) and quick delivery (arriving undamaged!) I can’t fault Plumbing World. However I didn’t receive any despatch notification from Plumbing World or the manufacturer Reina so the radiators just turned up. Luckily I was at home!
