We had such an amazing time on our North Sonoma tour! Gary was absolutely fantastic—he really listened to what we were looking for and put together the perfect lineup of tastings. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and his knowledge of the region, wineries, and wines made the experience even better. Beyond that, the level of care he put into everything was incredible. From making sure none of us got car sick on the drive (huge win!), to snapping great photos for us, and even providing lunches that met our dietary needs—every detail was handled with such thoughtfulness. Everything was smooth, fun, and well-organized. We felt totally taken care of and learned a ton along the way. Gary’s passion for what he does really shines through, and we’re so grateful for the experience. We’re super happy customers and will definitely be back for another tour. Thanks again, Gary!

Both the Napa and Sonoma tours were great. The guides were professional and knowledgeable. We loved each boutique winery where each provided a wonderful welcome, a tour of the winery along with a brief historical overview and a wine tasting. It was an amazing day.

From our first interaction with Don and Kathy as we booked the tour to the end, this was a 5 star experience. We loved our tour guide Gary Grossman's personal touches throughout the day. We were picked up at our hotel, greeted, and introduced to the rest of our small group (<10). Gary selected three vineyards. With each location, he checked in with us on what we wanted to know, shared tips, helped us with any shipping questions, and even "put up with our" requests for specific music for the ride home. Bougetz Cellars & our host Tim were my favorite! Between Gary and our wine tours, we learned a lot about the history of Napa Valley, wine tasting 101, and had lots of fun while doing it. The small size of the tour group allowed us all to connect and laugh while experiencing Napa's vineyards. Thanks Platypus for a great tour! Can't wait until our wine arrives from the vineyards.

Our guide Courtney was very pleasant and knowledgeable about Sonoma and the wine country. She took us to 3 wineries that were each special as well as the 2 wine makers we were able to meet.

It was an amazing tour! Army was very knowledgeable, he took us to beautiful wineries, and we saw a lot of the area! We enjoyed the fact that the wineries were smaller and ones we couldn’t experience at home. Would 100% rebook with this tour! We also liked that they called and confirmed the reservation after we booked and in the morning to confirm the pick up. The lunch was great, and the taco place at the end was really good!

The driver was knowledgeable, kind, and great at keeping a conversation going.

The tour guide/driver, Army was exceptional! He was very funny/entertaining- a great guy! I was slightly disappointed with the bus. It was a bit old and it was leaking water inside.

Your driver was very knowledgeable. The first two wineries, Saini and Trattore were very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The third winery, Viszlay, was not a good experience. While the wines were quite good, the owner was not friendly, told us nothing about his wines or vineyard, and seemed uninterested that we were there. It was not what we expected nor how we wanted to end the day. It’s not a winery I would recommend visiting and it doesn't reflect well on your company. Thank you. Stacy Bas

Army was an amazing tour guide, took us to incredible wineries and knew so much about the countryside and wines!

My husband and I had a great day visiting some local wineries and vineyards. Gary was an amazing host who entertained all of our questions and made the day so enjoyable! Would highly recommend it and do it again!

LOVED Linda. I would have liked to walk around the wineries. The tastings were nice, but really just saw the tasting rooms.

Our guide, Rob was excellent again (we also had him as our guide 2 years ago). The wineries selected were great and the people at the wineries were knowledgeable and friendly

This was my 2nd tour with an amazing tour company. One in the group, it was her first. She lives and works in Napa and recommends Platypus all the time. So, for her to go on her first tour - she was blown away by the history provided by Steve our drive and the quality time provided to our experience at each winery by our hosts. Highly recommend and will definitely go again. Best tour experience in Napa.

We were picked up promptly by Tony, our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the areas and wineries we visited in Sonoma. The group on our tour were very friendly and we had a wonderful day. Would wholeheartedly recommend platypus tours.
