We had a great tour guide (Army) who made the entire experience that much more enjoyable! He picked us up a little early and gave an informative tour around town before picking up the other guests. He shared a significant amount of knowledge with us and was very personable and kind! When we return, we will definitely reconnect and do another tour - and we’re already looking forward to it!

Great guide kept us informed during our trip to the forest. Pickup experience was easy peasy. We opted for a ferry return from Sausalito which was great. Overall, very satisfied with the whole experience.

This tour was great. We loved that the tour guide was able to pick us up at our hotel. He was very timely. We were with about 10 other people so it made the experience better since it was a smaller group. The shuttle bus was comfortable. We stopped at 3 wineries. The first one was by far the best with great wines (we bought several bottles). The next one was okay and the last one was ugh. We did get to sample a wine directly from the barrel at the last one, but it was not great. The tour guide provided us great information along the way as well as when we were at the winery. He was able to fill in information where the last two winery tour guides missed out. We would certainly use this tour company again.

Chris was great! Very knowledgeable and personable. The 3 wineries we visited were quite different and gave a good taste for first timers in Napa.

We really enjoyed our guide, Luis. He was knowledgeable, personable and fun. The wineries we visited were very nice experiences and it was fun to experience some that were small, boutique type operations.

We’ve been on a number of different Platapus tours and have enjoyed every one! I like that they keep track of the wineries we have visited so we go see different ones. Every place they have taken us to has been great!

Hi, My experience with Platypus tours was amazing. I was in Napa to celebrate my 50th birthday and my husband and I had a wonderful time. We did Napa and Sonoma tours and both were exquisite. Jason and Jared were both incredible and were so knowledgeable. And meeting other people was so fun! Memories and laughs to last a lifetime. We will be back! Melinda Palumbo

Would like to know why The Napa tour was approximately $80 more than the Sonoma Tour since we visited the same number of wineries?

Tony was great. The tour and the wineries were also great. We enjoyed the tour more when we visited 4 wineries rather than just 3. We felt this time that we had unused opportunities during the day.

My husband and I did the North Sonoma and Napa tours with platypus. Kyle Stoner was our guide on the North Sonoma tour and was awesome. His wine fund of knowledge and overall fun personality made for a great afternoon! Both tours stopped at interesting small wineries. They even arranged for us to have different lunches on both tours. Tasting fees were very reasonable and often waived with the purchase of a couple of bottles of wine. Overall, a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon
