Wonderful guide and great choices on wineries, we had a fantastic time

One of the most fun things I have every done! Gary, our guide, was amazing! He has so much knowledge and was fun to have as our guide. By the end of the tour, the 11 of us on the tour were good friends. I overheard two couples who live in different states talking about visiting each other in the future. On the bus ride back, everyone was drunk and singing loudly and dancing in their seat to the music Gary was playing. So much fun! Most of them went out to dinner together. That said, I and my friend got sick with a cold or Covid a few days later, and I don't know what we were thinking not wearing a mask because everyone besides me came from other states so they had recently been on an airplane. We had one lady from Norway and her partner couldn't make the tour because he was sick. Next time I will wear a mask.

The driver was great but the wine tasting was expensive. We thought buying a bottle would give us free tasting but the first winery said the purchase of two bottles would cover one tasting. My husband and I would have had to buy four bottles to get a free tasting.

We used Platypus for 2 tours. Tony and Gary were great tour guides. They were very knowledgeable of the area as well as wine. The wineries were wonderful. Platypus supplied a delicious lunch both days. Great experience!

This was my third time using them and we had a great time the whole day. Rob was terrific, the wineries were all cozy and beautiful, and the lunch was good!

Platypus tours was great! Affordable, easy to book and they called to confirm my reservation. They arrived on time and the bus was very clean. It was so nice they had water and umbrellas on board for their guests. Gary, our driver was very funny and super knowledgeable! He took the time to really get to know his passengers and what wine we enjoyed, making our stops at the three wineries even more memorable! Lunch was delicious as well! Will definitely book this tour next time were in Napa!

Wonderful!! The best was The best thing we booked this week. It was clean and on time! Tessa our driver was amazing. Funny and full of information. Don’t hesitate to book this. Also the wineries we went to were beautiful and so full of fun people.

Our tour guide, Gary, was the best! He took us to great wineries and he absolutely knew his "stuff". He was so helpful and informative. He made our tour the absolute best!

Our guide Linda was lovely. She very clearly knew her way around Napa and her choice of wineries was fantastic. Backstage Winery and Ghost Block were particularly awesome. The boutique winery experience was amazing - at Backstage the owner/winemaker was our guide for the tasting during which he presented some of the most amazing wines I’ve ever tasted. All the wineries were lovely and not pretentious. The lunch provided was delicious- how fun to eat it at a winery outside on the pergola with a glass of wine! All in all a fantastic experience!

This was our 8th platypus tour, which should tell you how much we enjoy them! This was our second time having Andy as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and fun, and we had an absolute blast! Can't recommend these tours enough. Can't wait to go back!

Third time with this tour and it was still great!!! Gary was our tour guide and he did a phenomenal job! The wineries were lovely and always. I will keep going on tours with Platypus every time I go to the Napa / Sonoma area!!

Friendly relaxed and informative. We learnt a lot without being lectured. Excellent Platypus guide and great choice of smaller wineries. The picnic lunch was fine. There was no pressure to buy. The set up inside the transport meant we got to know our fellow tasters. A great experience

Our guide/driver, Steve, was great. he gave us a lot of information about the Napa Valley, and stopped at some great smaller wineries . It was a very pleasant day.
