We booked both a group and private tours through Platypus and both days were wonderful experiences. Each winery was nice and had a fun tasting experience. Out of the 6 wineries visited I ended up with three wine clubs so I can attest that they schedule with high quality wine makers. The guides were both funny and knowledgeable. I was leery of going on a tour instead of booking it all myself but I was very impressed and would certainly book again.

Our guide Gary was friendly, helpful and full of interesting facts about the valley and winemaking. The three wineries we visited were very different from each other so we had a well-rounded experience. Tedeschi was our favorite. Excellent wines at all of them. Highly recommend the tour - it was fantastic!

Our host was very well informed and took us to some fabulous wineries-Merryvale, Ghost Block and BackStage. We had a lovely time and at each winery tasted a wonderful array of whites and reds. Highly recommend!

Celebrated Girls' Weekend/Birthdays and had a great tour to 3 different wineries. The driver Gary was fun, helpful and very courteous. We will definitely be returning again next year!
Andy was a phenomenal driver and “assistant guide”. He is so knowledgeable! The wineries selected for us were outstanding. Boutique wineries, and their tour guides, are very worthwhile.
We had an amazing wine tour in Napa! Our guide, Linda, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. The intimate group atmosphere was perfect, and we loved visiting local wineries instead of the larger ones—it felt much more personal. Getting tastings comped with bottle purchases was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend this tour for a unique and friendly Napa experience!

We loved our tour!! Andy was a most wonderful guide - so friendly, helpful, full of great information, but not "over the top"!! We had a great time, and thought the three vineyards he chose were so different and excellent! Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable.
Our group had the best time on our Platypus tour!! We looked at many tours before booking with Platypus and we are so happy with our decision. We all agreed that this was the highlight of our girls weekend. Our host Army was AMAZING! When we got on the bus he said we arrived as strangers and we will leave as friends..He was so right!
I couldn't recommend this tour enough. If you are in Napa Valley and are looking for a winery tour with a customizable experience in a small group setting, this is the tour for you! I will love to go back one day and do it again.
