This was Dexters 5th visit with Fran & David. He loves going there but this time he was a bit under the weather but they looked after him very well as always. They are such a caring couple and you can see how much they love doggies.
Excellent booking service. Linda found us a great carer for Roo and Leo within minutes of my request. From the moment we met Jan we knew we were leaving our doggies in safe hands. She gave us lovely updates whilst we were away. Thank you Petstay for giving us peace of mind knowing our precious doggies were being looked after so well. It gave us the freedom to really enjoy our holiday. I’m sure they enjoyed their holiday with Jan, too.
After 10 years of loving holiday care, we decided it was time for Poppy's 'dog parents' to have a break so we contacted PetStay on the recommendation of a neighbour. Having received our registration details, Katie phoned me, she clearly understood my anxieties as Poppy has only ever stayed with familiar friends and she reassured me that lots of owners feel the same way. Katie suggested Ann would be a good match for Poppy and she was right! The minute Ann opened the door when we went for the introduction I knew Poppy would be happy with her. Ann was very welcoming and reassuring and made notes of Poppy's quirks as well as her routine. I didn't have any doubts about Ann looking after Poppy and my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful carefree holiday. We collected our precious girl after 17 nights and whilst she was pleased to see us it was like we'd never been away! We feel really confident about taking Poppy to Ann again and have only praise for the communication, care and consideration demonstrated by the ladies at Petstay. Thank you all x

Pet stay via Linda is great. It’s simply a call or email to her and she arranges the rest. Our dogs Alfie & Barney have just spent three days with Anne & Keith who were great sending us regular updates on how they were doing which of course gives you peace of mind whilst enjoying your break away. We would highly recommend Petstay having tried and tested several avenues over the years we are happy to stay with them. Chris & Kath 🐶
This was Penny's third stay with Karen. Total piece of mind as regular videos and text messages as to how she was getting on. This is like a second home for our dog, will always use Karen when we are away.
We can recommend Petstay with arranging the care of our elderly dog. She has again stayed with John and Frances Taylor in Wetherby and has returned home happy and well fed. John sent us updates with photos whilst we were away which really helped reassure us. My dog is not easy in many ways but I know John will care for her as we would. Thanks to all at Petstay.

A real home from home for our loving if quirky soft coated Wheaten Terrier, Algie. Jessamy is a wonderfully understanding and trusted carer who has now cared for Algie on many occasions. Our sincere thanks to her for providing us with peace of mind during Algie’s numerous stays over the years.
I contacted PetStay in August 2024 to arrange a booking for late 2025. After a meet and greet with the carer I asked for a trial weekend to check my dog was happy there and that the carer was happy my dog was not too strong for her when out walking. The date was pencilled in pending the trial weekend and the first availability for us both was January. On collecting my dog I was told she hadn't taken him for a long walk so she would like another trial weekend. Admittedly the weather was bad on Sunday but Saturday the weather was sunny and dry and my dog was dropped off at 10am so there was plenty of time for a walk! At a cost of £56 for the weekend I wasn't happy that he hadn't been walked as this was the whole point of the trial weekend. I felt I had no option but to cancel my booking and I was given no other alternative for a different carer and no explanation as to why my dog wasn't taken on a long walk. I would avoid this company as they are unreliable.
Our rescue dog Lexi has stayed with both Jenefer & Don and Chris & Ann, and with both sitters she seems to have settled extremely well and been lovingly cared for. Both couples were very understanding of her anxiety and resulting quirks, and we were kept informed of how she was doing so we didn't worry unnecessarily! Jenefer in particular sent regular updates with photos which was very reassuring. We wouldn't go anywhere else for pet sitting now we have found PetStay.
Another great stay for our Betty with Olwyn. It was snowy and icy when we set off for the sun, but undeterred Olwyn took Betty to less icy areas for fun filled walks whilst the snow continued. She always sends updates whilst we are away and we highly recommend her. Thanks Linda for arranging it all for us.
Couldn't ask for a better couple to watch my dog. They look after her as if she was at home. Couldn't recommend Alice and Bernard highly enough. Feel safe in the knowledge that she's in great hands and on her holidays too. Spoilt rotten. Thank you
Our dog seemed to have a great time, the pictures Cat and Mark sent while we were away backed this up and they were both enthusiastic about having Asha there and extremely complimentary about Asha's behaviour. We have no qualms about asking Cat and Mark again and we were certainly not worried whilst we were away. Recommended, thank you Alice, Cat and Mark.
Bellas return visit to Chris and Ann was everything we could have wished for. Bella was beautifully cared for and was happy and healthy.
Our two Goldadors had an amazing holiday for 9 nights with Claire, Martin and their delightful family. Their garden is spacious and secure, which is exceptionally important with our escapologists! They're located in Shotley Suffolk near the beach, about an hours drive from us, and totally worth the drive for the peace of mind they gave us. I would absolutely recommend!!
We have used petstay a few times now with outstanding stays for our 2 boys Sidney and Benji. We booked a last min break for new years eve 2024 for a week but unfortunately we couldn't get our boys in with their usual dog sitters Cath and Den Lynch. Linda did her utter best to place us with someone who could provide them home from home comfort. We was so worried when linda came back with someone who she said could accommodate them. On our initial visit we met jan and explained what needs our boys required,to say we was apprehensive was a understatement. We dropped the boys off on new years eve at 11 in the morning,the boys were quite happy for us to leave them there. One of our babies is a rescue so needs a lot of attention and needs. All I can say is jan is an absolute angel,she treated those boys as if they we're her own,sent regular pictures and updates on how they were doing and how much she was enjoying having them,she was loving how much they enjoyed their cuddles,they certainly had her wrapped round their little paws. The weather was terrible with snow and ice so unfortunately she wasn't able to walk them as much as she would of liked to do,we told her not to worry coz the last thing we wanted was for jan to hurt herself and to be honest they don't like the cold anyway,their proper cold bums lol. We couldn't thank jan enough, when we went to pick them up they was so comfy and happy around jan,although we know they missed their mummies terribly they absolutely loved jan. Jan said she was really going to miss them and when asked if she'd have them again she said she most definitely would. Jan was brilliant and we would not hesitate to leave our babies with her in the future. Thanks petstay and linda for yet another wonderful stay for our boys xxx
I can't praise and thank ismet and Chris for the wonderful work they do .looking after sidney like he is one of the family. I always know he is safe in there care .
We had a last minute dog sitter let down for our holiday and Linda came to the rescue with Irene. What can we say other than what an amazing experience and a wonderful company. Linda was very quick in arranging a sit for us and we went to see Irene with Rocco two days before we went on holiday the week before Xmas. Irene was so lovely and so loving to Rocco she spoilt him and he loved his stay with her. He is an anxious dog but Irene worked wonders with him and took him everywhere with her. He went to lunch and even to crochet classes. Thankyou so much Linda and Irene a 5* service and 100 % recommend. I have told a lot of my doggy friends about you. Look forward to seeing you again soon Irene xxx
