We have used Petstay many times with two different dogs and the care is always first class. All of the different carers really love dogs and give them a great experience.
Ruth treats all her ‘guest dogs’ as she would her own. She totally understands dogs and absolutely loves them. Layla went off with her happily and had a great wee holiday. (Didn’t stop her ‘mugging’ me with welcoming love when I got back!) Very very satisfied.
Great company, l feel very confident that my dogs will be well looked after, and I know the both love there little break from me as well. I’ve used Pet Stay for 9 years now and would recommend them for your dogs
Tracy and Brian who looked after our dogs went above and beyond for us while we were away. They sent daily photos and made sure they ate properly and got lots of walks in again. I would defiantly recommend them again.
Our spaniel stayed with Bridgette for 2 nights whilst we were away for the weekend getting married! The communication was incredible from the first time we went for our meet and greet and also every day during the stay we received pictures and a little update on how he was getting on. He had a lovely time during his stay, he went on plenty of walks and had lots of cuddles. He even came home with a lovely treat bag! We can’t recommend this service enough - it is so reassuring to know that your dog is being looked after like they are part of a family at home. Thank you so much! 😊
Leading up to leaving my dog everything was done professionally and I was really comfortable leaving her with Siobhan and she cared for my dog really well.
This is the second time we've used Petstay and both times have been great We went away for a weekend and left our Cockapoo, Teddy with a lovely lady called Ann. She said he was a joy to have and it put our mind at ease when she sent pics of him chilling at her house. Can't recommend Petstay enough and will always use them in the future.
This was the first time we have ever left our spaniels with anyone other than family but Joyce and Tony were the perfect carers. We received a picture and update every day, both looked so happy and clearly Joyce and Tony had given them long walks and plenty of cuddles. Thank you Petstay.
Ann and Pete are amazing careers, Gavin was loved and looked after like a family member. He remembered them from last year and loves them to bits.
This was the first time I had left my dog (Bailey) with PetStay and Carole Harris the carer, the whole experience was brilliant from the initial meet and greet to Bailey’s 5 day stay Carole made Bailey so welcome into her home I knew he would have a lovely time On the first night Carole sent me a photo of Bailey all snuggled up and content on the couch and this just set me at ease knowing he was fine I would like to thank PetStay and particularly Carole for the excellent care provided
I can’t praise PetStay enough and in particular our sitter Eleanor who pulled out all the stops in ensuring Louis and Tinky had a home from home experience. We arranged an overnight stay prior to our three week long holiday which gave everyone the chance to get to know one another. I then had no qualms leaving them with Eleanor when they subsequently greeted her with much enthusiasm. The reassuring daily photos and updates meant we could enjoy our holiday without the worry of wondering how they were doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Petstay in the future and thank Jane for finding us the perfect sitter.
Our almost two-year old Springer stayed with Jan for a long 18-19 day board. We had regular communication with Jan which was great. When we collected Winnie we could tell she had completely settled with Jan and it was like a home-from-home for her. Winnie returned exactly the same dog that we had handed over for boarding. Jan is amazingly patient and a fantastic person to leave your dog with.
Booked a stay for our Dogue de Bordeaux nearly a year ago. Had messages coming up to the appointment. She stayed for a week and looked really at home from the photos we were sent. We have no reservations about taking Lexi there again. Claire is super and if we had to have someone look after Lexi permanently then we would be pleased if it were Claire!
I boarded my 3 year old lab, Miko with Evelyn and Keith Ferrier recently while our whole family were away for a wedding, and a good time was had by all!! Miko can be a nervous boy who wouldn’t be suited to kennel stays, so I contacted Ruth at Edinburgh and East Lothian PetStay a few months ago and had a one night trial stay for Miko before he spent 4 nights with Evelyn and Keith. As a result, Miko was very relaxed both on drop off and pick up too. Daily photos and videos of his activities were sent while we were away which was very reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to board through PetStay again….thank you!!😁🦮
We have placed our dogs with Pet Stay for some years now. On all occasions we have been more than happy with the dedicated care and commitment. We recently met with a lovely couple who cared for Wren & Beau whilst we were away and we're grateful they are happy to look after them again soon. Many thanks to Linda for guiding me through the booking system and stepping in for overnight stays at short notice.
Clova, our elderly Norfolk terrier, is back from another stay with the lovely Pet Stay hosts in Haddington. It is so reassuring to leave Clova in their care knowing that they have her best interests at heart. They are so thoughtful and considerate and we could not leave Clova with anyone better. We feel lucky to have found such great hosts.
PetStay matched our dog up with the perfect couple to look after her when we were away. We knew when we were first introduced and the way our dog Tali took to them, that this was the Ideal solution to finding someone to look after her. Kay and Andy, a retired couple like ourselves, were the perfect people to look after Tali our 7 year old Hungarian Vizsla who made herself at home right away. Tali enjoyed daily walks in the nearby woods with Kay and pottered around their safe enclosed garden with Andy. In the evenings Tali was fully relaxed, snuggling up next to Kay or Andy on their sofa or sound asleep in her bed. Tali (Kay) kept us informed daily on WhatsApp with photos and tales of what they did that day. Tali had such a good time, I wasn't sure if she would want to come home!! Yes, we were very delighted with Tali's boarding and would definitely let Kay and Andy look after her again.
I was able to enjoy my holiday in the secure knowledge that Bonnie was happy and safe. Margaret and Charlie kept in touch and I could see how much Bonnie was enjoying herself. Great care from a lovely couple.
Petstay were able to help out for a last minute booking and I couldn’t recommend Evelyn and Keith highly enough. Right Fri the start Cuillin was made to feel at home and they made sure he was the centre of attention throughout. Unfortunately Cuillin was ill during his stay but again. Evelyn and Keith together with Petstay made sure he received the sort of care that only people who really care can give. Thank you sooooo much.
Poppy had a brilliant time with Carole and Brian. I was kept well informed and she had the best time. She is an anxious dog so it was a worry for us but it needn’t have been!
