The assessment day was great. I felt very well prepared and well informed about how to come across well during the day. This was definitely thanks to my graduate manager Joseph Keyworth who was always friendly and informative on how to succeed with the applicant process.

Fast paced hiring process, I had a call within a few hours of applying for the role via LinkedIn, with a phone interview the following day and assessment day the following week, with job offered at the end of the day. James Moore was always great to talk to and was great and gave some great advice to prepare me for the assessment day. We spoke regularly leading up to the assessment day and he always had helpful answers to my questions. Overall a really positive hiring process.

A recruiter that doesn’t waste time and will effort to understand you and suitable roles. I was contacted by Abigail, who’s call i initially missed, however she was quick to send me an email so we could book something in. During the first call I was asked some qualifying questions about myself to see if I was the right fit for the role and fortunately Abigail thought I had a shot, the role was then explained to me to give me an understanding of its suitability for myself, this seemed genuine and not just talk of earning potential and company culture etc which I appreciated. I was then invited to an assessment day which seemed daunting at first, but Abigail was sure to give me a call the day before to explain everything to me. Upon arriving at the Pareto offices for the assessment day, there were around 35 candidates, all like minded individuals with an upbeat atmosphere. On the assessment day you are required to do a few activities such as speaking in front of a group, team work activities and making a pitch to the hiring/ recruitment team (who are all approachable and friendly) as to why you are the right for the job. The day ran smoothly and lunch was provided which is always a bonus! You will be told at the end of the day wether you have been successful, with feedback should you not be, which is certainly useful.

I had a call from london for a position in edinburgh. One of the consultants did not even let me finish a sentence and closed the call whilst I was speaking to them. Utterly unprofessional, will never apply to them again and I'll also spread the word of it. what a waste of time

Had a Great telephone interview, graduate support manager was absolutely fab and supportive in preparation of the assessment day. However the assessment day was a complete waste of time, literally went on and beyond for the assessment day. Made it seem like i was applying for a CEO position, when in reality it’s just for sales. Had 6 clients in one room and 1 or few in other room for the Pitch presentation. Felt a bit under pressure with the process and intimated just to secure a graduate position. Felt a bit discriminated too, In my opinion pareto if you have a problem or an issue with people from different ethnicity background, don’t proceed for an invite as it saves time for both of us:-)

Opportunities available are very good for ambitious graduates and the people that you communicate with are very helpful. I was personally helped by Joseph Keyworth who made the process so much easier.

Unprofessional advisors, rude and racists. When I submitted my documents after reading all the reviews, I thought I will deal with a professional firm, however, all what I received are just unprofessional practice with lack of decency, especially Alex.
